I received it and it was defective. A split down the side. Unusable. Tried to reach amazon for an exchange and only got form letters and no help. I am stuck with it.

I am so impressed with this utensil holder. It is much larger, and heavier, than I thought it would be. Just perfect for fitting quite a few spatulas, long spoons, a sieve and other items I want handy on my counter. In fact, it is such a quality item that I am ordering another one today. You need this type item to help you get organized. If you like to do a lot of cooking you do not want to have the utensils stuck away in a drawer. Have everything out in easy reach. This stylish holder will do its part.

Our Daughter-in-Law bought this for us as a gift from Amazon. The carafe is beautiful, made from 18/10 stainless steel, feels good in the hand because while heavy and insulated, the handle is perfectly balanced for easy use when pouring.

The coffee is best if you use fresh ground beans. (That is a given isn't it?) It takes just a small amount of time to make the coffee and because of the insulated carafe, it will keep the remaining coffee warm for the second or third cup.

I find it extremely easy to use and have no problems cleaning the filter. Once in awhile a ground or two will remain, but they are easily removed. The plunger works smoothly and the top fits tight on the carafe. It is so easy to clean I wash it by hand but it can be washed in the dishwasher if you wish.

Our DIL also gave us the matching Tea Maker which is just as nice as the Coffee French Press. Next on the wish list will be the matching creamer and sugar and luckily our DIL will ask what we want for Christmas.

My only complaint if I have one, I now crave fresh brewed coffee even more than I did before.

This French Press is very well made, and worth the extra money it costs. I only see two minor flaws: 1. The screen doesn't come completely clean just buy spraying it off - some coffee grinds stay behind. 2. If you aren't careful and press too hard I suppose hot water could come spraying out. However, anyone that has used a French Press before will know how to press it slowly and properly and won't have that problem.

FABULOUS!!! I purchased this as a gift for relatives who are very highly educated, worldy, well travelled, serious chefs, who've enjoyed coffee brewed all over the world (even Antarctica!). Needless to say, gift buying for them is tricky! When they got this, their Bodum decanter had just broken, so the timing was perfect...they love this model! Use it daily! In fact, they're so impressed, that they now order it from Amazon.com & give it as a wedding gift to newly married couples in their social circle. Also note, there is a coordinating sugar & creamer set available for purchase that matches perfectly, holds adequate volumes of sugar & cream, & makes a stunning table display. I already have a few Bodum sets, including the stainless steel insulated models, so I won't need another FP, but I also will give this Frieling model as a wedding/housewarming gift to coffee aficionados.

i really like the design and the usability of this teakettle. it fits enough water for even bigger tea pots, has a lid to fill in the water and has a nice handling. the whistle is ok too. one note to the electric stove users (as me): the bottom is very thin and already slightly bulged. on the other hand it is even so thin that when you fill the kettle all the way up it straightens out the bottom. decide yourself if you are ok with that. on the positive side are still the nice design and a reasonable price ($40 would be a joke though).

The kettle looks great on the stove, and the water heats quickly. The tea is always just at the right temperature when it comes out. But... the whistle is VERY LOUD! The cats get quite frightened, which is kinda fun, but I find myself bolting over to turn it off to save my eardrums - or, I just wait in the kitchen until the water is ready.

Overall, I would probably get the tea kettle again, just because I really like the way it looks.

I purchased this teakettle to use with my Pasta Express. It is a very sturdy little kettle, and pours with accuracy.

I have had these knives for over a year and of all the knives I have owned they are the best. They may not compare to the high-end knives made by this brand, but they are great for the typical family. I am very very satisfied with them!

I bought one of the less expensive green aluminum juicers and it broke in the middle of the first lime. This is solidly built and I expect it to last for a very long time. Also, it's longer handle means it's easier to use.

I ordered two lime squeezers, one from some place in Utah and this one. The one from Utah was a piece of junk. It had metal flakes coming off the squeezer (in case you wanted to add some toxicity to your juice) and when you tried to squeeze with it, the skin from your hand gets pinched between the two handles ... OUCH! It costed $9.99 but was worthless.

This one costed $19.99 and was well worth it. The smooth handles don't pinch your skin at all. In fact I let my kid use all the time. It works great on those medium sized limes. You see the juice flow out nice and uniformly. I do recommend microwaving refrigerated limes for 30-sec before cutting in half and squeezing. This lime-squeezer juices about 8 to 10 times faster than by just squeezing the lime with your hands.

I've tried it on key-limes (they're real small like 1-inch in diameter). It works well, except that after you squeeze the key-lime once, you have to pop it back into shape and squeeze the same half again to get more juice. I usually do this three times per key-lime.

I have not tried lemons, though I'm sure it will work fine. I would not try to do oranges (maybe clementines). This squeezer was clearly built for the smaller, more potent fruits.

Cleaning is a cinch. Just run it under warm water and some soap and you're done. This is one of the best buys I've ever made.

Oh I forgot to mention that I'm a man. Why does this matter? Cause you need a little strength to squeeze with this thing. It's strong, sturdy and safe, but you'll need some forearm power. My kid definitely has trouble squeezing without help. Perhaps after microwaving the limes, if you roll them firmly on a cutting board or counter-top that might make it easier.

If you're a lime-aholic, this is a must-buy!!!

We got this set one month after getting married, and guess what, it is the thing that we always wanted. It gives us the choices in pan sizes. and there are three more mixing bowls which come handy while cooking or storing left overs. The stockpots are wonderful, they are the used most of the times. The mirror polish is still intact, I think this is a wonderful thing that a newly wed should have. Its worth the price.

Positive points: Food doesn't stick to the pots/pans
You get varieties of sizes.
Easy to clean.
Looks smart.


Negative points: I feel the handles are little delicate, so we have to give support if the stockpot is completely filled
The mixing bowls are quite thin. Be careful while dumping it into sink

I have owned my 12 piece Farbeware set for the past 26 years. My mom's set is 37 years old. We both cook every day. Our sets were manufactured here in the states,(the factory used to be in the Bronx, NYC). They included a 1,2,3,4 and 8qt pots with 7 & 12 inch stainless steel frying pans. My sister has the present 10 piece set also with stainless steel frying pans and it was not manufactured in the states, she's owned hers for 12years.
Yes I can definitely say there is a quality difference from the present Faberware to the original ones made here. But I must say they are still a great product for the price.
They hold up to mishaps in the kitchen (leaving pans in the oven and turning the oven on with them in it, or leaving a pot on the hot stove until what is in it burns dry). Clean up after such incidents have still turned up the pots looking new. The outer stainless steel still has a great shine and I have never had to use any specialty products. They withstand the dishwasher but I still prefer to wash them by hand. I also own their 6qt (not made here) and 16qt stockpots.
I highly recommend this product to cooks just starting out because they withstand abuse and also cook very well.
I have recently purchased the "Calphalon One" line to add to my Farberware (my daughter likes to cook specialty dishes).
I will not be discarding my Farberware even after 26 years there is no reason to do so.

This pizza wheel is heavy-duty and feels very solid in your hand. It's sharp enough to cut through a very hard/crunchy crust, and you don't have to worry about it skidding off the pizza.

An added bonus is that the protective sleeve extends about 1/4-inch beyond the wheel to protect the entire rim of the wheel. It fits snugly and won't slide off in the drawer. (The pictures don't show this very well and give the appearance that the sleeve covers only half the wheel--but rest assured it's better than that.) If you prefer to hang your utensils, there's a large hole for hanging at the end of the handle.

This wheel may cost a bit more than others, but it's worth it.

This is the heaviest , most sturdy, pizza cutter I've ever seen. Awesome. It even comes with a holster that I can only assume can be mounted to your belt.

I bought one of these for myself and liked it so much I had to buy one for my parent's kitchen so I could cut Mom's veggie pizza. This is the biggest cutting wheel you can find and SHARP! No more dragging toppings across your pizza as you cut it! This wheel will practically clear Mt. Everest leaving all of your toppings where they're supposed to be. Pepperoni is sliced, not smushed and drug along. Pile on the toppings if you have this one - it can handle it.

Make sure it has the metal tip on the end of the handle with the hole - Kitchenaid is unfornately getting cheap and is skimping on product quality as many of the Kitchenaid feedbacks indicate.

I started off liking this set a lot! But over time (less than 2 yrs.), I'm getting more and more disappointed by it. With the large Dutch-oven type pan (which I love using such a size), it is rather warped (after only the first use!) and doesn't sit flat on my smooth glass top surface. That makes for uneven cooking. Then, on my 8 qt. saucepan, the water boiled away once causing the food to stick. Now I can't even cook pasta without it totally sticking! It is worthless! I am so careful with these pans -- I don't even stack them (Takes us a ton of space in my kitchen this way, too.) and I NEVER use metal utensils or wash them in the dishwasher but they seem to be wearing out. I've only used them for less than 2 years, having bought them for use in my brand new home. Now that I need just these two replacement pieces, they seem to have discontinued the line. Also, I don't like how the lid handles get hot. Not so sure this was my best option in cookware. Good luck with yours!

We've had these for two years and really have loved them. We still do love them. But, we dropped the lid to the stock pot and it shattered. The company tells us they do not stock replacmenet lids for Anolon Professional, but we could use one of the other Anolon line lids. Unfortunatly the size of this lid does not agree with any of those that they do have. So, like the product, but am very disappointed with the company.

This is a very nice grater indeed. The one thing I don't like is that the lid to the bowl doesn't hold on; it just rests there and that makes me nervous transporting the bowl.If I slip up, the contents slip out!

We have been using this grater for about a month and it is really well made and has a good grip. It is worth the exta cost but you need to be a little careful since it is sharper than the cheaper ones. It has not rusted in anyway.

I was looking for a LONG time for a good grater. I used to use my food processor, but what a mess! I purchased this one and WOW! Easy to use, sturdy, FAST cleanup (you can just toss it in the dish washer) and it looks great!

I make a latte every morning and this pitcher works well. It's big enough to allow me to put enough milk in it for my tall latte without the foam overflowing. The handle sticks out far enough from the body of the pitcher to make it easy to turn the pitcher while I'm steaming the milk. The only drawback is the somewhat wide bottom which can bump against my machine when I'm steaming.

This may seem like a silly thing to want, but the Krups pitcher is just the right size and shape to make good frothed milk for lattes, cafe au lait or capucchino. The shape is just the right height to put the nozzle under the milk and get either steamed milk or frothed milk. It fits well under the steam outlet in my DeLonghi coffee machine or under the nozzle on the espresso maker. We clip the insta-read thermometer to the side to get the right temperature milk.

If you haven't had coffee with heated milk (especially in winter) it's a real treat. It doesn't have to be espresso, just foam the milk with the steam outlet and serve with brewed coffee. If you have coffee-loving friends, this is a wonderful little gift to give.

I love this pitcher! It holds a lot of milk and pours easily as well. Just as I expected, other positive reviews were right on.
