Darn good baking dishes. These thing work quite well. They are very sturdy, very well built. I am sure they could double as a home protection device if needed, and would still be in perfect working condition. These things are heavy, like solid steel.
WonderfulI bought one to start with of this size. I was so impressed that I bought a second. My wife uses them for everything..

False advertisingThese are not non-stick racks.
They are spot welded thin wire racks that have a chrome appearance which, if chrome, is easier to clean but certainly is not a non-stick surface.
The package cover states "Dishwasher Safe - Easy Clean" and NOWHERE does the term "non-stick" appear on the package.
Definitely for bread/bake-stuff and not for cooling anything that might have a sticky substance in/on it. Nothing hot and still soft can go on the rack, unless you want a square grid pattern...
You cannot use them in an hot area such as oven/BBQ or like a trivet. You cannot use any "abrasive" cleaner or pad on them either which means a long soak and scrubbing with rag/sponge if something is stuck to the surface.
Once the surface becomes scratched, it will rust very quickly so what they really mean by "Nonstick" is that you need to use kitchen utensils that are made for nonstick coatings to place/remove items on the racks.
I was going to use them for cooling bread-stuff as well as items that need to drip grease off of them before storing in the fridge/freezer(e.g., sausage, smoked & BBQ...).
One out of two is okay for me but I am NOT happy that "Nonstick" is being advertised. The dishwasher here(*me*) does not work real good... :)
Basically, cheap, use for a while and then throw away product...

Nice product with many uses, but a bit of a pain to clean A passionate home cook that has been honing her cooking skills for the last 25 years writes this review. My favorite cookbooks are "The Professional Chef" by the Culinary Institute and "Culinary Artistry. Cooking is my form of therapy. I have owned my set of these for a couple of years. I use these every few days in my kitchen.
Pros:
1.Excellent for cooling muffins, cookies, and other baked goods
2.Great for draining deep fried foods in you put this rack into a standard half sheet pan
3.Useful for "air frying" food in the oven
4.Handy for holding bakery products that are to decorated with chocolate. I place this rack in a half sheet pan and decorate away. The sheet pan contains the chocolate that misses the cakes and cookies when I am playing Jackson Pollack with food.
5.Wonderful for "frying" bacon in the oven (no grease on the stove). And the half sheet pan contains the grease.
Cons:
1.This pan is about an inch smaller than a half sheet pan, and that gap is a little annoying
2.These racks are a pain to clean. They are absolutely NOT non-stick. I soak mine in the sink with HOT water and a little dishwasher detergent and then use a brush to scrub. This is the only method that I have found to get them clean. Even a steam cleaner didn't work.
Overall, I use these racks ever few days in my kitchen. They are very handy to have. I would have given them 5 stars if they were easier to clean. Until I stumbled across the dishwasher detergent trick I was considering throwing them away, but now they are less of a hassle. If only they were just a tad bigger. Be certain to measure your baking sheets before you order these. In order to get the maximum versatility from these racks, you to need to have a couple of shallow baking sheets with rims for them to fit into.

Very bad decision to buyI was looking for a light weight 6 oz custard cup. These were very heavy with thick walls. The ones I have are thin walled. Due to the weight and look I threw them away. I am sure they are very servicable. It appears France is the only country that makes thin walled cups these days.
Great for food prep and so many other thingsI got these initially since they were cheap and I thought I might use them occasionally while prepping ingredients. I find that I use them all the time! They are so handy, I do use them for food prep (chopped spices, diced veggies, etc.), but I also use them for ice cream toppings when serving friends, little sorbet serving bowls, sauces, etc. They are definitely handier than I expected them to be.
Pyrex baking cups (6)oz)These small cups come in handy for making custard, warming baby food and for individual servings of snacks, and food items, etc. Delivery was prompt. They don't seem to be available in the department stores or discount stores anymore so was delighted to find them on line. Lynn Martin in Va.

excellent valueThese baking dishes are an excellent value. The 2 quart is the perfect size for casseroles and small roasts. The 3 quart is also great for baking cakes and clean up is a breeze. The price is also a great deal. I priced these in stores before finding them on amazon and each time the price was almost double for both pieces. An excellent value!!
Value all the wayThis is an exceptional value. I use both pans for myriad oven uses constantly.
Great Dishes!I received these Pyrex dishes as a wedding shower gift a few years ago, and I must say that I use them more than any other dishes I own!
Having both the 2 & 3 quart is wonderful, as I always have the "right" size for whatever I'm cooking. They also save me some time because I am able to use them to cook in, then leave the leftovers in the dish and put in the refridgerator, then on "leftover night" I can just pop the dish back in the oven or throw it in the microwave - it really is a time saver.
Overall, I would highly recommend having these dishes in every kitchen, as they can be used for almost any type of cooking.

Nice size and shape, but started to split apart after first use.Like many large wood surfaces, a peel is made from several strips of wood laminated together. However, this peel developed a split after just one use. The instructions indicate maintenance is achieved by wiping with mineral oil, so perhaps you should do this before using the first time. I imagine there are heavier peels available which may be worth checking out.
I was rather dissapointed.
I was rather dissapointed.
Great value; follow the instructions for care and you'll be happy. When you purchase this item, make sure you either own or also purchase food-grade mineral oil, designed for conditioning butcher block and other wood kitchen implements. (I learned this by buying the wrong thing first: If the bottle says it's toxic or flammable, this is not the product you want! You can food-grade mineral oil online or possibly at your local grocery store.)
The peel will need to be treated with the oil before use. Don't substitute olive or other edible oils, as they will go rancid. Let the peel absorb all the oil it can (I did a few coats, rubbing it in with a paper towel). Then voila, you have a well-conditioned tool that won't dry out and crack. For the best care, as another reviewer mentioned, you'll want to apply mineral oil after you clean it each time.
This thing is big! My better half came up with a clever way of storing it inside one of our cupboard doors, as it's quite flat; I had thought to store it with the baking sheets, but its handle makes it a bit ungainly.
For the price, it's a great tool, and a little care will go a long way!

Pizza to Go!Prompt, fast, speedy all describe the delivery of this product and once received it was everything I had expected in terms of quality. Can't really ask more for a last minute gift idea that was simply not available in my area, kudos all around!

Not up to parI have numerous Le Creuset items, and this has to be the worst one. Everything sticks to the finish. Salsbury steak turns out horrible (can't make gravy), breakfast sausage patties become ground sausage pieces due to the sticking. And, like mentioned in an earlier post, it is hard to clean. Beware this new finish, (they have it on their grill pans also)it is not up to par.
not happy with this panI'm a huge fan of Le Cruest's products and own a few well chosen pieces. Having said that, this new satin finish is a disappointment. I was given this a gift a year ago and was thrilled - until I used it.
I really wish they'd go back to their original smooth enamel finish. This must be an attempt to produce an interior more durable for using metal utensils with. An attempt that in my opinion is a failure. Things (like eggs and hamburgers) stick to this finish. You have to use a lot more fat to prevent sticking. It's hard to get clean, takes quite a bit of scrubbing even after soaking. It doesn't give the finish to grilled meats, etc that I want from a fry pan. Forget deglazing it to make a sauce. I find my All Clad 9 inch skillet to be a superior performer to this one.
Since this is a 9 inch skillet, I haven't used it to saute onions, etc., so I can't say how it performs with these items.
I do use it to make cornbread and to roast small portions of meats or veg in the oven, with good results (as long as I'm not going to use the browned bits to make a sauce). This to me though, is not enough uses to justify buying it.

Like a costly cast Iron panI bought this recently because of the price point...I have the same pan in the 11 inch. I consider and treat both pans as I would a seasoned cast iron skillet because of the rough satin finish on the interior. This is not a good pan for omelets because of the interior finish. I wish Le Creuset would make some skillet with dark colored interiors in the smooth enamel finish.

Warped and failed to stickI loved these for about two months. After that, they bent and would no longer lay flat, and the nonskid bottom was worthless. It's a good thing they were cheap because they were, well, cheap. I would recommend getting instead getting a good, solid cutting board and putting either a wet dishtowel under it or some of that nonskid shelf liner underneath. I also recently bought a real-size cutting board with nonskid "feet" on it that works great.
Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money to get a quality item.

Indispensible but slips a bit too muchI am an active cook and use mine daily. They have numerous advantages over my Boos cutting board: easier to wash, don't retain flavors such as garlic to be transferred the next day to the oranges I cut for my kids, can be used to transfer the stuff I just chopped over to the pan - slide those onions right in, then over to the sink to rinse!
My only beef is that they are not as non-slip as I would like and when on my metal kitchen table slide around too much. They do better on top of the chopping block. Even so, these are probably my best kitchen buy of the last 12 months.

greatest thing since white breadI love these cutting boards. They are easy to use and easier to store. They also have a backing that keeps them from sliding. I use them on a daily basis. I would recommend them to all my friends, and I have.

This if for people who cannot afford CorningwareUpdate: One 7-cup set broke after one month of use(after baking), Amazon replaced it in no time(2 day shipping free), its always safe to buy @ Amazon. (thanks 2 amazon)
I believe this product is satisfactory, go for it if you cannot afford genuine corningware. And if you are looking between 10-piece and 14-piece then 14 is better because it comes with free shipping, if its 10-piece you have to buy another item to make it $25.00.
My experience with this product is "So Far So Good", they are easy to use and sturdy.

Love it - highly recommended - Pyrex v. PlasticTrying to live a more sustainable lifestyle - using more reuseables and less disposables, and Pyrex is PERFECT for that!!!
I had been using plastic Gladwear, Ziploc, and Rubbermaid containers, but had several problems with them:
1. Storing tomato sauce and then re-heating it in the container dyed them a weird shade of orange.
2. They are supposed to be microwaveable but I found that after a few months of normal use, they were useless - warped, funny colors, scratched, etc.
3. The plastic scratched easily, creating chanels where bacteria could grow - eww.
4. I've read multiple articles from multiple magazines quoting multiple studies about how microwaving plastics release toxic chemicals into your food.
5. After several months of use, they were beat and had to be recycled - recycling is, of course, better than throwing them in the trash, but the process of recycling creates pollution and not only that, I'd have to go out and buy more, spending more money, which was what I was trying to get away from. Good for the company, because they got more money, bad for me, the customer.
BUT this Pyrex set is GREAT! 7 containers, 7 lids. LOVE IT!!!
1. I can reheat food in the microwave (without the plastic lid) and don't have to worry about chemicals leaking in to my food.
2. They do great in the freezer - we use one of the small ones to hold ground coffee - we buy beans and ground several days worth at once, then pop the grounds in the small container and into the freezer.
3. It's Pyrex, so it's no big deal when my daughter accidently drops one helping me put the dishes away.
4. I can use them to hold raw marrinating meat, chicken, or fish without having to worry about them holding on to the bacteria.
5. They are dishwasher safe, just put the lids on the top rack only, and they come out perfect, very smooth surface so they are easy to wash.
6. I've read other reviews saying that they look nice too, so they can go from fridge or oven (7. Oh yeah, they are oven-safe too) to table as serving dishes - this is true, if we ever had a dinner party, I would't think twice about using them as serving dishes.
8. They are simple, which I love, because I won't have to worry about them clashing with anything (we are a young family so we have hodge-podge of kitchen stuff anyway so it doesn't matter right now).
9. They "nest" together very nicely - we live in a small apt with limited kitchen storage, but these containers, one stacked up inside the other, with the lids separating the containers, don't take up any more space than my old plastic junk.
I use these ALL THE TIME, I can't say enough good things about them. All of mine are "in commision" right now, except for one which is in the dishwasher. My one complaint is a set of 7 lids and 7 containers is not enough, I need another set, LOL. :-) (I also have the loaf pan w/ lid - very nice, small, but nice, good addition to my set)
Highly recommend! :-)

It is good but not that unbreakable as you thoughtI bought 2 2-cup and 2 3-cup round Pyrex storage sets for the reasons that the plastic storage sets could have some harmful chemicals. Also I expected that these sets would last longer than plastic ones, but unfortunately, one of the 3-cup ones was broken very easily, although it was inside of a very thick lunch bag, falling from a 1-yard height above the ground.
Great product, glass is very durable and difficult to breakA passionate home cook that has been honing her cooking skills for the last 25 years writes this review. My favorite cookbooks are "The Professional Chef" by the Culinary Institute and "Culinary Artistry. Cooking is my form of therapy. I have owned my set of these for at least 5 years, and possibly longer. I have not broken a single piece in that time. This may not sound like much but I am hard on things, and for all of them to still be intact is a minor miracle in my home. The glass is very tough.
Pros:
1.Glass is very tough, seems almost indestructible
2.I like that they are not plastic, so I feel safe about reheating food in them
3.The lids fit well for the first 4 years or so
4.Replacement lids are available at the cooking outlet stores
5.These containers fit well into lunch bags so that you family can take your healthy home cooked food to work or school.
6.The containers stack well inside each other for space cramped kitchens
7.You can bake in these and then cool the food (I place the entire container into a roasting pan filled with ice water) put on the lid and slide the pan into the refrigerator.
8.You freeze can food in these containers
Cons:
1.The lids do stretch and warp over time, I recommend buying extra lids before you need them. My lids lasted approximately 4 years.
Overall, I would recommend these to anyone that likes to cook in quantity and doesn't like to reheat food in plastic. I use these everyday in my kitchen.

Great stuff! Why didn't they come up with these glass storage containers sooner, or if they have been out there a while, why didn't I know about them sooner? All I can say is they work wonderfully. No residual smells or stains, and they clean up very easily. Dumped all my Tupp-Stuff, and went out and bought another set of the Pyrex at my local Tar-Jay.
These really do work exactly as advertised...great product!!!

Great starter set of bakewareBefore I bought this set, I had only a cookie sheet and sad 9x9" pan. Suddenly I could make layer cakes, small casseroles, and loaves of cranberry orange bread. Mmmm...
I love nonstick. It doesn't matter how long you leave it in the sink - it's still a snap to clean. I have noticed that after I used metal to cut a pan of brownies, I got some scratches that have turned a bit rust-colored. That's the only reason I'm giving this set 4 instead of 5 stars.
For me, it was great to get a set because I have a small kitchen and most of the bakeware stacks nicely in the compartment under the stove. The cookie sheet gets the most use and it hasn't warped at all. I'm very pleased!

Very Pleased with this ProductI just wanted to add my 2 bits. I was pleasantly surprised when I received this shipment.
The box was attractive and heavy. Upon opening the box, I was impressed with the quality shown with the first pan removed.
This is a great buy! The pans are very attractive, heavy duty quality and store nicely in the compartment under the oven. I foresee myself buying another set to keep and would definitely buy as a gift.
As for the teflon, It makes my cooking come out great! Tastes great!

Great product and Teflon is not toxic when comsumed...I bought this product...great price for the set. It does what the other reviews have said and includes those as well. I just wanted to mention that Teflon is not reactive when consumed so it will just pass through your system. And as for the fume that comes out of it at high tempertaure...most of us don't own ovens/stoves that heat up the pans 570F+ so no need to worry about the fumes (which causes illness).
I read one of the uneducated reviews below about Teflon being toxic and wanted to educate the public from facts....not personal opinion like the reviewer below.
