I was a little weary about buying a refurbished mixer, especially with the other reviews saying that there were lots of scratches. I was very pleased when I pulled mine out of the box. It looks just like new. I have only used it a few times, but so far so good. I love it.

My factory-reconditioned KitchenAid Artisan Series 5 quart stand mixer arrived in perfect condition (no scratches, chips, or dents) with all of its accessories. All parts fit together properly. The mixer worked flawlessly on the first try and has continued to do so ever since.
It is sturdy, very well made and a pleasure to use. I have no regrets that I bought a factory-reconditioned product. I would recommend KitchenAid factory-reconditioned products to anyone, and I do.

I was a little leary about buying a reconditioned mixer. I opened it the only blemish I found was a little oil on the mixer, which was easily wiped off. There were no scratches and it looked absolutely brand new. I have used KitchenAid mixers before and this mixer is as good as any you could buy at a fancy store, but at a much better price. I have used it extensively and would definitely recommend it to others. It has never given me a moment's problem!

Cute and colorful, I put daily vitamins in them. Or a small amount of dipping sauce for potstickers or tartar sauce for fish.

Very useful. They are easy to clean and very useful if you enjoy cooking.

So practical for many uses. My 3-year-old granddaughter is content with just a few M&M's or Goldfish in the tiny bowl. She eats the small snack then plays with the bowl. I'm buying her a set for her play kitchen.

This machine is available for $300-400 BRAND NEW! Why would anyone pay this price for a REFURBISHED appliance??

I was going to buy this but at this price I expect a correct photograph and description. I'm also a bit concerned about the warranty. 6 months seems a little short, all things considered. And I bought a reconditioned kitchenaid food processor last year and not only was the item not properly described but the warranty was not what was stated on Amazon's web page.

I bought this set about two weeks ago and have been satisfied overall. You are getting exactly what you pay for; three basic glass bowls that are fairly sturdy and seem very durable. My only complaint is that they identify themselves as `mixing bowls' and are really all too small to do any real mixing in. The smallest one is the size of a cereal bowl, and the biggest one can only hold enough salad for 4 people. If you want to actually mix, even a single batch of cookies, you're going to want something bigger.

Great for popcorn, marinating, storage and so much more. They stack up great and I've found usage for all of the 3 different sizes. And to top it off, you get the quality of Pyrex, a respected name in cookware for so many years. I am am very pleased with this purchase.

Great basic set of mixing bowls at a very good price. HIghly reccomended.

I did not have a chance to see whether it performed well or not, because it worked only for about 15 minutes.... While the turn-table is still working, the mixer is dead....

This is the best mixer ever! It works beautifully and looks great, too. If you are in the market for a mixer and don't want to deal with a heavy metal one, this is the mixer for you. I seriously love it and it looks really nice on the counter as well. The two bowls are very heavy and they are big, I'd say 4 quarts...but the unit isn't huge. This is a great mixer for the money!

I've been lusting after a stand mixer with dough hooks, etc. for years. I have pointed them out to my husband and told him that was what I wanted for holidays, b'days, anniversary.......etc. NEVER GOT ONE!

I ordered this one with some Amazong gift cards and an AMEX discount deal. I knew it was a KILLER deal and I was right!

I have the black and love it. It looks great on my counter. It does the job beautifully and I have made more cookies, banana bread, etc. in the past 2 months than I had in the past year or longer.

I did learn a lesson though........it can NOT handle a double batch of a banana bread very well. That was my fault for even trying it though.

It is not a high power turbo mixer but has more power than your standard hand mixer.

If you want a stand mixer but not sure how much you will use it this is a great way to try it out. Then you have an extra on hand for small jobs, extra cookie batches or to give to someonelse to try.

This is a great scale. You can use any pot,plate on it and zero adjust. The nice thing is if it calls for two ingredients, put the first ingredient in as required by noting the weight, then zero adjust and then put in the second ingredient. No need to calculate. The bowl is dishwasher safe and the scale is easily wiped clean. Great products donot have to have a battery, computer and be a gadget. Wonderful mechanical product but as accurate as any digital scale.

Easy to use, Read. Versatile in that you can use any dish or bowl you want. Calibration is a cinch!

We got this set one month after getting married, and guess what, it is the thing that we always wanted. It gives us the choices in pan sizes. and there are three more mixing bowls which come handy while cooking or storing left overs. The stockpots are wonderful, they are the used most of the times. The mirror polish is still intact, I think this is a wonderful thing that a newly wed should have. Its worth the price.

Positive points: Food doesn't stick to the pots/pans
You get varieties of sizes.
Easy to clean.
Looks smart.


Negative points: I feel the handles are little delicate, so we have to give support if the stockpot is completely filled
The mixing bowls are quite thin. Be careful while dumping it into sink

I have owned my 12 piece Farbeware set for the past 26 years. My mom's set is 37 years old. We both cook every day. Our sets were manufactured here in the states,(the factory used to be in the Bronx, NYC). They included a 1,2,3,4 and 8qt pots with 7 & 12 inch stainless steel frying pans. My sister has the present 10 piece set also with stainless steel frying pans and it was not manufactured in the states, she's owned hers for 12years.
Yes I can definitely say there is a quality difference from the present Faberware to the original ones made here. But I must say they are still a great product for the price.
They hold up to mishaps in the kitchen (leaving pans in the oven and turning the oven on with them in it, or leaving a pot on the hot stove until what is in it burns dry). Clean up after such incidents have still turned up the pots looking new. The outer stainless steel still has a great shine and I have never had to use any specialty products. They withstand the dishwasher but I still prefer to wash them by hand. I also own their 6qt (not made here) and 16qt stockpots.
I highly recommend this product to cooks just starting out because they withstand abuse and also cook very well.
I have recently purchased the "Calphalon One" line to add to my Farberware (my daughter likes to cook specialty dishes).
I will not be discarding my Farberware even after 26 years there is no reason to do so.

Not only my copper cookware shines, this even cleans the rust on the bottom of my cast iron cookware. A very good product.

This product I love it, because it have no hasrh chemical.
