All-Clad Review ALL-CLAD BAKEWARE IS THE BEST!
We understand that All-Clad was originally manufactured to meet the rigorous demands of professional chefs. While I'm far from a professional in the kitchen, I can certainly appreciate the high quality of this bakeware.

We've found this loaf pan to be perfect for not only breads and cakes but also our favorite meat loaf. Especially impressive is the way a rich nut filled chocolate cake can be easily removed from this pan. In the past, I had to serve the cake in the baking pan because it always crumbled when I tried to remove it. Not so with All-Clad! Of course, loaves of white bread seem to simply slip out.

The gold color is very attractive and cleaning is a breeze. When All-Clad says non-stick they really mean it. Metal utensils aren't a no-no as they are with some other high end baking or cooking pans.

Someday, we hope all of our pans will be All-Clad!

All-Clad Review Expensive but Worth It
I own these & use them frequently. Before baking, I prepare the pans by oiling them very lightly; breads are easy to unmold. I love being able to use metal utensils with the stick-resistant surface. Clean-up is a breeze. I use a nylon brush, then follow up with a sponge. I expect these pans to last a lifetime.

All-Clad Review Sturdy, but more stockpot than casserole
I like the "Master Chef 2" line of All-Clad products. They have an attractive brushed aluminum exterior with stainless steel interior and lid. They have a solid aluminum core that not only fills the bottom but also extends up the sides, so you get even heating of your food. The lids fit well, you can use metal utensils on the cookware without damaging it, and the smooth interior cleans fairly easily. The cookware is durable and will last for years without incident. If you drop it, you're far more likely to hurt your foot or the floor than the pot! The handles are riveted on very strongly, and we've never had a handle show signs of giving way or pulling loose. We've had our All-Clad items for years and they're in fantastic shape.

Technically you could put your MC2 cookware in the dishwasher, but it isn't recommended. Not only would the 5-quart casserole not really fit very well (it's a bit tall) but this can eventually ruin the nice finish, causing discoloration. This is one of the real down-sides to All-Clad cookware in an age when most new cookware is dishwasher safe.

I also find that the 5-quart casserole (I actually think of it as a stockpot because it seems closer to that in shape) isn't the most useful size. It seems like most of the things we make need to be in a smaller or larger pot; there are few things that fit perfectly in a 5-quart pot. The one thing this pot does have going for it, however, is that aforementioned shape. The tall, comparatively narrow shape of it means that if you're cooking something that you want in a large pot due to spattering worries, but that you want in a narrow pot because you aren't cooking much of it and don't want to burn the bottom of it, this is one pot that'll do the job well.

All-Clad Review I love this pot!
Thsi pot is the ideal size for boiling up to a pound of pasta, making soups, casseroles, or anything that needs to start on the stove and go into the oven. I use it at least once a week. It only measures 8" wide so it takes up very little shelf space. A great piece of equipment, in my opinion.

All-Clad Review The Best but Overpriced
I investigated all the mixing bowls at local stores and on-line, and the All Clad ones are the best. 1.) Many other bowls roll the top lip over to increase strength. Unfortunately (as with my old bowls), water and other grime collects or dribbles in the rolled lip. All Clad bolws have an edge that is flat and doesn't do this. They use thicker material for strength. 2.) The All Clad bowls have a handle attached. This is so much better for beating, whisking, etc., since you get a good grip on the bowl. 3.) The All Clad bowls are highly polished which makes them easier to clean, and you could even serve in them since they look nice. 4.) The All Clad bowls have a nice shape. Others are too shallow so stuff slops out when mixing or are too conical not allowing you to mix. These bowls are nicely shaped like a half-circle.

So why only only 4 stars? Look at the price. For the price of one All Clad bowl, you can buy a whole set (or two) of other brands. I plan on giving these to my grandchildren.

The 7Qt is a monster--large enough for tossing a salad. Finally, it doesn't look like they do, but they do stack/nest just like other bowls despite the handles.

All-Clad Review All-Clad Stainless 7-Quart Mixing Bowl - The Best!
These are the best mixing bowls I have ever used! I have 4 sizes (7, 5, 3 and 1.5 quart) and I use at least one or two every day. They have a nice handle so you can get a good grip on it. The polished stainless steel is so beautiful you could definitely use them to serve as well. I use the 7 quart for making several pounds of meatballs at a time. It is definitely one of my favorites. Also, the clean up couldn't be any easier and they all nest together for easy storage. I can't imagine using any others!

The base is a good size and there is no danger that anything could tip over, that is unless you tip it over! Top quality and excellent design! Highly recommended!

All-Clad Review Part of a Set
This pan was part of a larger set. Although I mostly cook for one, I find this pan small for a saute. I would have rather had a 3-quart pan.

With that said, I still have to praise the All-Clad quality. The pan heats evenly and quickly. Clean up is easy because I can put it into the dishwasher.

All-Clad Review All Clad versus Calphalon One
I own both All Clad and Calphalon One. I know there are a lot of All Clad vs. Calphalon One discussions/debates. My personal experience is both are really good and you can't go wrong with any one of them. I am not a professional cook - so it's purely a point of view from a person who wants to learn more in cooking.

A few points:
1. Clean-up - I think Calphalon One is easier to clean, just soak it in hot sudsy water for 15-30 mins and the remains will fall off. Even I didn't make a mess, I need to clean my All Clad with Bar Keeper's Friend (BKF). I use BKF on my Calphalon One only when the mess is really bad.
2. Time to heat up - For some reason, my All Clad pan heats up quicker than my Calphalon One pan. But the time different is very small.
3. Level of "stickiness" - To me, changing from non-stick to stainless steel and hard anodized aluminum is smooth and easy. As long as you follow instructions, sunny-side-up eggs do not stick on both brands. I have yet to try scrambled eggs (I think I shouldn't try, but I am really curious)...
4. Handle - I read that some people have problems with All Clad handles. To me, no problem at all! Maybe I am used to holding the pan back-handed and the All Clad handle just fits nicely. Calphalon One handle is also great - haven't heard any complaints at all.
5. Aesthetic issue - Since this line of All Clad is stainless steel (very shiny), it will show its normal tear and wear easier when compared to Calphalon One, which has a much darker color & non-shiny surface. Just look at your stainless steel kettle and you may get what I mean - It's just very hard to avoid those normal tear and wear and it shows because the surface is shiny. I only use wooden utensils and no steel wool nor abrasive cleansers! Of course, those normal tear and wear will not affect the quality of the cookware.

Conclusion: You can't go wrong with any one of them. The price difference, in general, is very small between the 2 lines. Personally, I prefer Calphalon One since it's much easier to clean and it doesn't show normal tear and wear easily (relative to All Clad stainless steel). And I don't mind waiting for just a little bit longer for the pan to heat up.

Hope this helps someone in making purchase decisions!

All-Clad Review Laurie
I really like this fondue pot & it functions well. The only thing I would like to see is a domed lid that would fit this so I could use it as a bean pot also.

All-Clad Review I love this item......
Own alot of All Clad products and this is a new piece that I utterly love. Its a nice weight, hold the fondue of your choice at a perfect temperature via sterno which is not included. Each of the fondue forks has a different coloured 'button' on the end of each fork so you need not worry about knowing which is yours.

I also like the indentations on the pot where each fork can 'stand' which helps keep the forks from getting messy from sitting in the fondue mixture, or in the case of cooking meat allows the meat to cook thoroughly without sticking to the bottom of the fondue pot.

The stainless is easy to clean, and looks beautiful on my kitchen shelf between uses. Fondue has always been a fun thing in our home, and was never a 'fad'. It's a fun easy meal at least once a week, and a fun way to use left over vegetables, meat, pound cake etc. for dipping in dinner sauces and desert sauces.

While I am a huge fan of my Le Creuset collection and love that fondue etc., I tend to favour this fondue set because its easier to use.
