All-Clad Reviews

I've owned All-Clad for a long time and have been pleased with the performance of my cookware. However, my purchase of the 16 quart stock pot was a big disappointment. When the pot arrived, the lid did not fit properly. It was slightly warped and had a dimple along the rim. When placed on the pot, the lid did not sit tightly all the way around and instead woppled like a table that has one leg slightly shorter than the rest. Although returning the item to Amazon was trouble free, they were not helpful at all when I inquired if purchasing a non-defective product would be possible. In short, there was no assurance that the product shipped to me would be free of defects. After a while, I wondered if they have continually shipped out the same defective pot hoping some customer will simply find the return process to troublesome and keep the flawed pot. This may sound picky but for the $350 purchase price, I fully expected a product that was free of flaws or defects; both from Amazon and All-Clad. Overall, the purchase was very disappointing.

This is a well made pan in a convenient size. Great for macaroni & cheese for 2 or stuffing. As in all All-Clad, there aren't any hot spots or problems cleaning up. I recommend it highly.

I will never buy Target pans again:) I have found myself increasingly fond of one hundred dollar pans lately!
All-Clad's baking pans truly have the highest quality baking surface I have ever come across.
This is the newest piece I have bought from their line and I again am not disappointed. It is worth the extra expense! Perfect for baking with or without wax paper and truly is a non stick easy to clean surface. It doesn't scratch through or get ruined. After having it for a while, I am not even sure you could hurt it at all!
Try their lasagne pan, too! It is my favorite piece so far!

At our house nothing beats a homemade cake - not just for special occasions such as birthdays or holidays, but for our all around favorite dessert.

And, nothing beats the All-Clad round cake pan for preparing a perfect double or single layer cake. We've found that the heat distributes evenly so that a vanilla cake, for instance, comes out a golden brown all over. Further, it comes otu easily with no sticking.

Another plus is the fact that the surface is impervious to the use of metal utensils - no scratches or marks. Of course, these pans are dishwasher safe.

This pan looks very high quality and beautiful. But, beyond it looking I am very satisfied by the way it conducts heat. I am an engineer and ordered it to do scientific experiments so I wanted a pan that can conduct heat evenly. After searching around, I bought this item. Before I use it for my scientific experiments, I had to check to make sure it will indeeed conduct heat evenly. My testing results indicated that this one is very good. The heat at different spots is uniform. I have not used it for baking. But I am thinking about buying one for my home. It is worth the money.

I ordered this item because of the great reviews and was excited to receive it. I received the first shipment damaged on both the lid and pot. It wasn't in the original box and the packaging was terrible. I was sent a second pot and even though it was in the original box, it had a 3 inch long scratch on the lid. If I am paying full price for an all clad stainless pot, I expect it to be pristine. I have not received a response from Amazon yet about a replacement. I will give them one more shot.

For Christmas last year, my husband gave me my All Clad 13" brasier. I can't say enough good things about it. I reach for it constantly when I'm making a dish that requires some space. It serves a myraid of functions and looks great going from the oven/stovetop to the table.
All Clad's not cheap, and if you're looking for a versatile piece, this one is it.

I recently ordered this pan, wondering if it would be worth the money. I have a smooth cooktop and my larger saute pans don't have flat bottoms which causes the pans to spin when I stir - very annoying. This problem is solved with this pan! It is very heavy duty so warping won't happen. It is wonderful to cook in and cleans up easily. The cooking surface at the base is about 10 inches, and at the top the pan is about 13". I chose this particular pan because I knew I would be able to cook a wide variety of meals in it. My smothered pork chops were awesome when cooked in this pan. I'm hooked!

Next to my All-Clad Copper Core Dutch Oven, this is my favorite cooking utensil. I also have the 12 inch fry pan I use when company comes over. After using this pan a few times I threw out all my nonstick cookware. Now I use nothing but All-Clad Copper Core. Every morning I scramble eggs in this pan. I put a pat of butter in the bottom, turn the heat to medium (never high or you'll scorch any pan), let the butter start to turn brown and throw in my eggs. They don't stick; it's amazing. The few times I do have some stickies, I just soak in water for 10 minutes before washing and they easily come clean. About once a month I might soak the pan with a 1/2 inch of vinegar for an hour or overnight. It turns the bottom shiny and new looking. This pan is also great for bacon, saueting pork chops and chicken--just about anything. And, I never have to worry about toxins migrating from nonstick cookware into my food.

These is a dandy little set -- if you can get them on sale. To illustrate how tough they are, here's a little story. Recently I accidently left a burner on low and had just a little water in the pan. Bad. I didn't discover it until the next morning. Luckily nothing caught fire and no fumes made me sick because it was just made of stainless steel. I turned the burner off and let the pot cool, but there was a brown film burnt into the bottom of the pan.

After the pan cooled, I put cold water into it and guess what? The pan came perfectly clean. It had a little bit of discoloration, which disappeared in the dishwasher.

So there you have it. Good as new. No warping, no pitting, no permanet discoloration. This treatment (which I don't recommend) would have ruined another set of pans, and may even have started a fire.

Can enough be said about All-Clad's superior heating? You really can see the difference with the fry pans. No need to heat above medium, even for searing.

This little pot is perfect for one. Great for a can of soup. Or making small amounts of sauce. Even heating and dishwasher safe. It's not a must-have, but it's a great test piece.

Stainless clean up is easy. Put it in the dishwasher. Bar Keeper's friend keeps it nice and new looking.

If you want to test drive All clad, this is an excellent set.

We have a lot of All-Clad pieces and when I first saw these I couldn't believe the price. Another reviewer mentioned they are made in China for All-Clad. I've used All-Clad for many years and these seem to be as well built as the USA versions. A lid IS available for the sauce pan, just buy a 1 or 2 quart sauce pan lid. The pieces are a little small, but I use they for many things.

The price is right for giving as a gift. Each pan is in it's own box inside a bigger, so they can be given as two gifts.

I highly recommend these pans.

I bought this to complete my All-Clad cookware collection. It has all the attributes of my other All-Clad cookware -- durable, functional and beautiful. If you have use for a Windsor pan, you won't be disappointed with All-Clad -- ever!

We've had this set for over a year now, and it shows little sign of wear. It still works as great as it did new. Other sets we've bought in the past from other manufacturers wore out quickly. Highly recommended.

My husband purchased one of the small saute pans about 6 months ago and we both absolutely love using it. I am purchasing my husband the 7 piece set for Christmas. Nothing sticks, so it is easy to clean and the handle stays cool. We have a 10 piece set of the Wolfgang Puck cookware that has failed to perform well. My dream vacation would be to vist New York and see Emeril Live. I am a huge fan of his Emeril Live show. I can't wait until Christmas to give him his Emerilware so we can both enjoy it.

My wife and I are huge Emeril Lagasse fans. We've eaten at his restaurants in Las Vegas ans Orlando. So when we heard All-Clad was introducing Emerilware, it was a no-brainer; we had to get it. Emerilware is not only a very high quality set of cookware, it is beautiful! We love the "lipped" edges of the saucepans;; they make pouring so much less messy!

I highly recommend purchasing Emerilware and treat yourself to one of his fantastic cookbooks as well (I recommend the "New" New Orleans cookbook!)
