I was initailly excited when I saw these glasses. Looked like a great design. I ordered two sets. When they arrived one of the glasses was broken in trasit. I sent them back for replacement and when they arrived another glass was broken during shipment. I cannot blame it entirely on the design of the glasses, since they were poorly packed. The second shipment was sitting on the bottome of the box with no cushioning. Amazon is refusing to replace them after the second damaged shipment, but is refunding the purchase price. I must say I am very disappointed. My advice is to save your money.

I had a set but now it's down to a single glass. I love the way they look and how thye insulate. I drink my coffee out of it. However, in the beginning when I first got them I use to drink my soda and iced beverages out of them until one day when I was putting ice into my glass, the inner layer shattered. I wasn't throwing ice cubes in it or anything like that. I guess sometimes stuff just happens. If they were a bit cheaper I wouldn't minde but they are pricey for something that don't last too long.

I have the tumbler size of these glasses and love them. Yes, they are delicate so I just hand wash them which is not a problem. They are very comfortable to hold and have a nice smooth rounded lip which makes them comforable to drink out of. I use them primarily for wine or mixed drinks and not for everyday things. These would not be your standard cupboard glasses. If you want a great glass to enjoy an evening drink out of and impress guests, you will enjoy these!

This was my third friench press that I had purchased in the last year. The two previous ones were made of glass and broke quite easyly. The coffee tastes great and I don't have to worry about brakeing pot

Its really easy to break the glass canisters that come with typical french presses...and the canisters aren't cheap! It wasn't going to be long before this nice stainless press would cost no more than all those glass canisters. Plus, the second cup stays warm for a long time.

I use this pot for tea, rather than coffee, and it makes a great pot of tea. The best thing about it is that it keeps the tea hot for hours! We have a glass french press for coffee, but that one cools in a matter of minutes. My husband has gotten used to that one (thankfully) and uses it exclusively for his coffee. So mine is now the tea pot, and I love it.

I love these glasses. They work exactly as described and my teas look lovely in them. The roundness of the glass has a wonderful feel in my hand. I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves fine teas.

Great cups. I'm going to buy several more. Pouring boiling liquid, or microwaving in them for a long time, and the cups are barely warm. Haven't had them break, though they are surprisingly light.

These are excellent little espresso shot glasses, and they work very well. Your hands never feel the heat. The espresso may be 165 degrees, but it feels like you're holding a glass of tap water.
They are delicate, a little more so than I thought, that's why the four stars instead of five, but be careful and you'll have no problem. Keeps the espresso hot, but then, if you're a real espresso afficianado, it's supposed to be gone in 5 seconds or so anyway. They make good tea lite holders, too...

I love these glasses. They work as advertised. My espresso's never tasted so good, now that they stay hot, longer. Additionally I havent burned my hand once since using these glasses.

As previous reviewer has mentioned, please be careful with these glasses if you attempt to wash these in the dish washer.
The glasses are so light, that jets of water coming from the dishwasher are likely to launch the glass out all over the place while the wash cycle is on.

All in all great purchase. Worth every penny. For espresso lovers a must!!!!!

These glasses demonstrate a high sense of style marked by simplicity. These glasses will work for most serving occasions. They are dishwasher safe and they keep my espresso warmer than if I used a regular demitasse! They are absolutely perfect. I got two orders, so I have a set of four. Note that the larger pavina glasses work great for cappuccinos or regular coffee.

This item is VERY fragile; the first one arived broken (Amazon sent me a replacement). I think that I will stay elevtric.

As has been noted by several reviewers, this coffee press is pretty tiny. However, I use it to make espresso without a big expensive machine or having to fuss with an aluminum stove-top espresso pot- not 100% authentic, but still pretty good. (the "three cups" refers to a standard espresso cup serving size, which is between 1 and 2 oz.)

This thing may be small, but it works as well as any Bodum press (very high quality and replacement parts are readily available and inexpensive); it fits in my (law student) budget and the minimal amount of counter space in my apartment, and, beyond espresso-making, it's good for individual use for someone who's fussy about how fresh their coffee is. Rather than making a big pot of coffee that goes cold or has to be kept heated on an element while the taste gets worse and worse, you can make one cup at a time that is fresh every time.

This "French Press" is made in China.
I am ordering the Bialetti, made in Italy,
at least it will have European ambiance.

This French press coffee maker is a perfect way to enjoy excellent coffee. It's elegant to serve, and the flavor is wonderful.

I drink both tea, mostly loose leaf, and coffee and use the press. You do need more than one because the coffee oils stay around so you don't want to mix the tea and coffee. I use the smallest size for my tea as it makes an elegant server too. The coffee comes out differently than cups made in a drip brewer. The same beans taste very different with the spicy notes becoming more prominent. I use both the brewer and the press depending on my mood and the company. The only down side for the press is that it isn't as easy to clean up, especially if you don't have a disposal and have to gather the grounds out of the sink. Otherwise it is a great kitchen basic, especially for company.

Bodum is a fantastic line. Anything they produce is fabulous, like this beaker.

I love my french press and it's so hard to find replacement beakers for it in Albuquerque. So when my last beaker broke I immediately went online to Amazon to get a replacement. I ordered 2 so I wouldn't have to go without my french press. It was so easy and came so quickly. This is definitely the way to go if you can't do without your french press.

I recently purchased a replacement beaker for my french press and now I wonder why I waited so long. The coffee is so rich and full of flavor I can't believe I stayed with my Cuisinart so long. So easy and great coffee!

Like most reviewers, I found these glasses to be elegantly modern and sleekly minimalist. Like a number of other reviewers, I found that one of my glasses leaked. Unlike one other reviewer, I was unable to eliminate the water between the glass' walls in the microwave, and when I tried to do so the glass became very hot because of the steam produced. To my mind, elegance of form can never compensate for a failure of functional design. 5 stars for form, 1 star for function: 2 stars total.

Addendum: I liked the form of these glasses so much that I bought two more at my local coffee house, knowing that if either leaked I could easily return it. Neither did, and they're a pleasure to use. I recommend local, rather than web, purchase.

i liked the design so much, i bought 8 glasses. 3 already have leaks between inner at outer wall. the leaks pretty much spoil the glass.

i hate to keep buying them, but i probably will. they'll keep a beer cold for 30 minutes, easy.
