Great cookwareVery stylish and clean up is a snap. I have bought every piece to complete the entire set. For the price, why buy anything else?
Great multi-purpose pan I have been slowly building a Cuisinart collection. I am extremely pleased with the value and performance of these pans. I have had the 2qt saucepan for over a year now and it sees frequent use. Great to make home made gravy, sauces, soup, leftovers, or to heat some veggies. I use this pan occaisionally for making rice as well.
The pan heats quickly and evenly, the handle stays cool enough to handle, and the non-stick surface holds up well. I stick to wood and nylon utensils as any non stick surface can be damaged by aggressive metal utensils.
If your looking for a non stick sauce pan buy this one. You'll love the performance and the look. Nice see through lid to watch your veggies too. If used on a long simmer with lid, the lid will get a little hot so keep a pot holder nearby to lift it. Cuisinart makes some great cookware.

Great PotThis pot is great I have used it to make rice and mac n cheese, both come out great in this pot. No sticking. The topper on this pot was I made cranberry sauce in this pot and it came out great and clean up was a breezes.

CPT-140 Fancy but not worthyBeware of very sophisticated fancy looking kitchen appliances and read the reviews before you fall for them. I bought one of this expensive products and it stopped working 6 months later. Cuisinart does offer a 3 year warranty in all their products, but they don't tell you that you have to go through the annoyance of shipping the product back to them at your own cost and you will also have to pay for the shipping cost if you want your new product back. They won't reimburse you for your time either, so if you earn money by the hour, add those losses to the cost of the appliance. That will be enough money to buy any other brand if I throw that one to the garbage. It's not worth it.
THIS THING IS TOAST!Seemed like a good buy when I bought it. Upscale price for a toaster but it had so many features it seemed fair. But my gosh - it can't make a decent piece of toast! It overtoasts everything or undertoasts it so that you have to put it back down at which point it.....overtoasts it!
Nice idea having wide slices but it doesn't handle large slices nicely, breaking some on the way up - probably because of undertoasting.
After only a week or so - this thing is toast - I plugged in my old style 4 slice B&D - oh well!

OK ToasterWhile I love the features for this toaster: 9 toasting settings, a cancel button, reheat, bagel, and defrost buttons - it only toasted evenly for a couple of months. (and not on the "bagel" feature). Waffles come out toasted in the middle and soggy on the edges. Toast comes out light on one side and a dark on the other.

Looking for a Waffle Iron? Don't stop here! What happened to the research & devolpment team for the Cuisinart WAF-R Traditional Waffle Iron? They must be out eating waffles at the notorious Waffle Lady house of Waffles. The noise this waffle iron makes when your waffle is done sounds like a smoke alarm going off and oops, they forgot a volume control. You will burn your hand on the handle. If you put in too much batter, plan on the batter going in to the many cracks and crevices the design team thought they would add just for annoynance sake. The waffles we made turned out flatter than any pancake we'd ever made. Boo, hiss. Come on Cuisinart, you can do better than this.
design flawThe first waffle came out OK, but on our second try the lid mechanism locked with the waffle inside. We tried everything to get the waffler open but had to send it back, trapped waffle and all.
The Best Waffle Maker! After watching Elton Brown on Food Network one evening, I realized that a round traditional waffle maker is the best choice. After researching the best, I came up with Villaware and Cuisinart. Cuisinart has been wonderful, as I already own 2 food processors and a toaster. How could I go wrong? This Waffle iron far surpasses my previous one and is beautiful to look at.

Pan warpsAlthough this pan is heavy, it warps during cooking. (It's flat when cool, but once placed in the oven, it makes a sharp noise within a few minutes as one corner of the pan bends upward). I like my pans to stay even throughout the cooking process. I wouldn't recommend this one.
Heavy Duty & Very NonstickLike the other Kitchenaid nonstick bakeware, this cookie sheet is made from very heavy gauge metal and, unlike Ecko and even Wilton, the nonstick coating is thick and durable.
Don't gouge the surface with metal implements, don't overheat the the cookie sheet (450 F max), and don't use an abrasive nylon pad like a Scotchbrite to clean it. The nonstick surface is so effective that there should be no need for harsh cleaning. Even seriously baked on foods should come off after an hour of soaking in warm water.
From reading the descriptions, I'm not sure what difference there is between this item and the Kitchenaid 17-Inch Slider (item K2901), other than the fact that I paid twice as much for this item. I bought two of them, and they're very nice. This is probably a lifetime purchase, unlike all other nonstick bakeware I've ever bought, so I'm trying not to be too upset by the price. But for those still shopping, look for the 17 Inch Slider.

Really works on high temperature but too soft to handle sticky foodThis turner really works on high temperature. It doesn't change its shape or melt. However, unless you have a really good non-stick frying pan I suggest you should stick with a nylon turner. If you are frying rice or anything sticky on high heat, the food will stick on the pan, and this silicone turner won't have enough strength to lift it up, making the food get burnt.
An excellent itemI purchased this item in a four piece set from HSN.com and unfortunately they sold out. So here I am looking for more. This is the best utensil we own in our kitchen. I read the other review and I just have to say that this is a very heavy turner that is able to stir and flip over anything that we have used it on. For instance when we make a huge pan full of fried rice this is what we now reach for to turn the rice. Barely anything sticks to the turner and it has the weight to perform the job. Best of all, it hasn't melted at all not like our cheaper nylon tools. I would recommend this to anyone.

Not worth ordering I've had two of these. Despite a great design, the quality is unfortunately seriously flawed.
The coating on the first started to come off after a month of use, despite using appropriate utensils and only hand-washing. I replaced it, and the second was even worse. Since I don't really want Teflon in my food (or bloodstream), that was it. I'm back to All-Clad stainless steel and Calphalon hard-anodized roasters.

Best roasterI have had my eye on this particular roaster for a couple of years but have never seen a price that even came close to the one I got. I have already used it and love it.
