Cooking Brands Review i also wish there was 0 star
i've had this for only a couple months and this grill is HORRIBLE headache and as soon as i can afford to replace it its going in the trash. i should have stayed with presto. i had 2 of thier grills that i used constantly until the non stick surface was worn out and each of them lasted over a year and a half before that happened. but they always heated evenly. never did i have the problems with them and especially when i've only had it a couple months and its surfaces looks worse than either of them.. not only do i have to put everything on 400 degrees to get any sort of heat. it does not cook evenly the entire center of the grill won't get hot enough to grill and the heat sensor will not only NOT turn on without jiggling it countless times when it DOES finally heat up it wont stay hot and turns off mid cooking my food and i have to rejiggle the element to get it to RE turn on.. i also wish i would have read these reviews before purchasing, i was going to get a presto but this one had a cheap price so i got it instead cause i was trying to get a good deal.. big mistake!!! awaiting the day i can throw this horrible waste of money away.. the heating surface IS large and i like the warming basket.. it does work well.. but that is it..
SAVE your money

Cooking Brands Review I wish there was a 0 star!!!
We have had several griddles in our house through the years and never before did we have such a piece of junk. My husband couldn't even keep greasy bacon from sticking to this. It was such a headache we threw it away. Wish we could have returned it, but didn't think to keep the box and receipt.

Cooking Brands Review Don't Buy It!!!!!!
Just bought it and regret it, big time. The non-stick surface, isn't. Egg, bacon, eveything sticks to it. It's already stained with food that can't be removed and I've only used it twice. I even sprayed the surface with Pam and it still isn't non-stick.

Cooking Brands Review Disappointing.
I've had this pan and the 8 in for a little over a year now. Just noticed the non stick surface is peeling off where the handle attaches to the pan. Was a lovely pan while it lasted. For the money I would expect better longevity.

Cooking Brands Review Nice to look at, BUT.....
This is a beautiful tea kettle and I was attracted to it right away. However, after getting it home I realized how non-functional it really is.

The handle gets as hot as the kettle does, and you need a pot holder to handle it. Keep that pot holder close by, because after the water boils you'll need it again to take the whistle off the spout to pour the water.

Pot a plant in it and go buy a kettle that you can actually use!

Cooking Brands Review Stainless Steel is the best
I love this tea kettle. It not only looks great but is of heavy duty construction unlike those $10 aluminum throw-aways. Since I am only an occasional tea drinker, I tend to leave water in the kettle and move it to hot burners when cooling (I have cast iron elements/electric oven so burners stay hot for awhile after use). Other tea kettles create rusty water, since water remains in the kettle. Not this one! It boils water rapidly and is great looking on the stove. My handle does not get hot and, like I said, I have cast iron elements which really heat up and remain hot. I do agree that you cannot take the whistle off without an oven mit. That's the only flaw; they should have made the whistle heat resistant like the handle.

Cooking Brands Review Nice nonstick
For a family of 4, this pan is good size. Quality is good. The glass cover is a plus. I bought it at around $25. I have been using this for 4 months almost everyday. Durable.

Cooking Brands Review Excellent cookware
Very stylish and great to cook with. For the price, you can't beat it!

Cooking Brands Review Great quality to value ratio
If you are looking for a non-stick saute pan this is a great deal. The pan heats quickly and evenly, so keep the heat at medium and lower. The handle stays cool enough to handle, and the see through lid is great for viewing the food, or keeping the moisture in for some braising.
The pan is more difficult to get a good browning than a stainless, but only because it has the non-stick coat. Also makes very good pan sauces, again not with the depth of flavor you'd get from the searing a stainless pan would provide.
The non-stick holds up well, but I only use nylon or wood utensils. Any non-stick can gouge if metal utensils are used aggressively.
I have several Cuisinart pans, and they all work wonderfully for me.

Cooking Brands Review CHEFS STAY AWAY!
DO NOT buy this roaster if you are at all serious about cooking. It warped immediately in my 500 degree oven, the high temperature I used to start my Thanksgiving turkey. Also completely useless over two burners to make gravy--everything immediately burned, it has major hot spots, and horrible heat conduction. The bottom is, as another stated, like tinfoil. I was very surprised at the poor quality, being so happy with other Cuisinart bakeware I have purchased. It is a waste of money and I am currently requesting a refund from Amazon or Cuisinart. Wish me luck.

Cooking Brands Review Give this one a pass...
Definitely not up to typical Cuisinart standards. While the roaster is a nicely polished stainless which makes for easy cleanup, it's relatively thin. In a 400 degree oven, the pan actually bows.

Look elsewhere for your roaster.

Cooking Brands Review Definite Quality - - Affordable Enough For "Real People" !
I had been considering this type roasting pan for over a year, but I just couldn't justify the price for the other brand I had been seeing. I'm so glad I waited for the Cuisinart. This is definitely a quality roasting pan, and affordable enough for real people. It is not QUITE as heavy as the AllClad, but almost as heavy, and certainly heavy enough! I'm pretty sure it will perform just as nicely and for as many years as the pricier brand. I appreciate value, and I consider this to be a great one!

Cooking Brands Review Cuisinart PrepBoard Set
These are my favorite cutting boards. Cuisinart makes 3 cutting/prep boards, round, square and rectangle. I bought them in a set all together, I use at least one everyday. They are dishwasher safe so clean up couldn't be easier and they will not dull your knives, absorb odors or collect bacteria. They are all slightly raised around the edge so liquid will not spill on your counter, perfect for tomatoes or anything else you are chopping. I actually just ordered a second rectangle one. You can even use them for outdoor serving, fruit, cheese, etc. Highly recommended! A+!
