Cooking Brands Review Very Bad Leaking - Dangerous?
I saw the major flaw in my coffeemaker after about a year -- right after the warranty expired, don'tcha know. The problem I had was that coffee -- not plain water -- seeped onto the warmer plate from the outside edges of the plate, during the entire brew cycle. Somehow brewed coffee from the filter basket was running down to the bottom of the unit and seeping back up into the plate! You could watch it happen It was eery, like a B-horror flick about oozing evil slime. It only got worse with time. The burning coffee smell was horrible and the mess was neverending, obviously. My husband declared it a hazard and told me not to use it anymore. I went to the basement to get his old machine from 20-30 years ago -- a Mr. Coffee with all-plastic housing that we keep on hand for decaf at parties. No features except for a "keep warm" setting. It still works great, just ugly as sin in our modern kitchen. This tells me that simplicity is best in a coffeemaker. It's too bad, as I loved the features and the look of the flawed machine. I even bought one for someone for Christmas, before I had my problems. Waiting to hear her tale of woe.

Cooking Brands Review Its a pice of Cr**
I have to give it one star because Amazon does not have an option for 0 or negitive ten ( -10 ).
It leaks, it has fiddly parts, the filter shut off plunger is activated by a plastic bobin that falls out of it's plastic holder, becuase the parts are the WRONG SIZE!!! It just keeps comming loose. Even if it worked, the device is designed so that a pool of coffee sits in this plastic part, waiting to start driping a teaspoonfull of coffee when ever you remove the container.
Not only that but the only way to pore the coffee is by removing the contaner top, or pressing the buttion on the container handle, and that broke two.
This looks good but, is junk. We have not one, but TWO defective parts that have broken, or or come loose. Even if they all worked, it would still drip because of the way it's made.

JUNK! JUNK! JUNK!

Cooking Brands Review Great
This is a spectacular coffee maker and I am so happy I chose this one; makes great tasting coffee, and I love the features. The only downside is the bright green clock at night. It doesn't have a night mode or any way to adjust the brightness of it at night so I have to cover it with a pot holder every night.

Cooking Brands Review Works...
I have had this toaster for the better part of a year now. I second all the complaints in the previous review, and add a couple more:

The sliders that control the toaster are very easy to accidentally bump. This means it's very easy, while wiping the counter or moving stuff, to knock the "Function" slider into bake or broil mode. I've done this many times. I usually notice, but once or twice I've let the thing bake for awhile before noticing. Serious safety hazard. (There *is* a beep when you turn the unit on in any mode, but it's easily drowned out by other commotion.)

The inside of the glass door is very hard to clean due to its rising, rather than hinging, action.

The thing does work, but I'd take just about any other toaster oven design over this one.

Cooking Brands Review not it
I got this toaster oven as a wedding gift, and I feel badly for my friends who bought this in good faith. This toaster oven was a big disappointment. To be fair, it looks nice, takes up little room, and toasts nicely. That's about it for good points.

First among its many problems is the fact that despite being billed as a 4-slice toaster, it fits only 2 slices of regular-sized bread. I guess this is standard, but it was a surprise for us.

Second, the tray is fixed in place. This means not only can it not be moved, but it can not be removed if small items fall between the rungs of the rack.

Third, the rack is placed in such a way that toast can not easily be sild out. Because the wire at the front is higher than the others, you have to grab the item in order to get it out--easy to burn fingers and hands.

Finally, two of the three controls were wobbly on their sliders, right out of the box. Not inspiring, especially for folks like us who make toast many times daily.

It does not seem to have been put together with convenience and durability in mind.

Cooking Brands Review Not what I expected!
First of all I have to say that I love Kitchen-aid.I bought this item just last week and I was very excited to bake in something I didn't have to grease.I baked a cake and followed all the instructions and let the cake cool completely before unmolding it,I was extremely dissapointed to see my cake fall apart and half of it stuck to the mold.I'm going to return it and will never buy another silicone mold from Kitchen-aid.This is the second silicone mold I try,the first one being that infomercial one.I think I'll stick to the old fashion way baking.

Cooking Brands Review Strange, but it worked fine
I used this pan to make an angel food cake. While it was strange to "peel back" the pan from the cake instead of taking the pan apart (which is what you do for a traditional angel food cake pan), the cake came out of the pan just fine. I did have to run a knife along the side of the pan, but you have to do that with any angel food cake.
