Farberware Review Excellent
This is a great little stockpot. As mentioned earlier it's a very stable pot. I have a glass cooktop and only very flat bottom pans are usable and this one works very well. I don't like non-stick pans and stainless are a lifetime investment so this is an excellent pot for an excellent price.

Farberware Review I love farberware's pots!
You really can't go wrong with any of Farberware's pots! They really last a lifetime! I have the 3qt,6qt,8qt,1qt,and 2qt. The 3qt is the best for everyday! They will last for generations! My mother still uses them and I grew up with her cooking with them when I was a child and they still are excellent!Believe me you get your money's worth with Farberware! The classic collection is excellent! I know my sets will last as long as my mother's.

Farberware Review Farberware Pot
I bought this pot as part of a shower gift. I opened it up and checked it out and realized I wanted one of my own!!! The quality looks great (as do most farberware)and my sister loves using it.

Farberware Review Neat, sturdy and inexpensive
We wanted a sauce pan (with a lid) sufficient enough for our family and also to be useful when we have some visitors. So we considered this Faberware 3 quart stainless steel saucepan to be appropriate. We were a little doubtful about its steel handles getting hot while cooking. But after the first use this doubt vanished. We are happy with its material which is quite thick, weight and also simple design. It does not have any unwanted fancy attachments and obtrusive handles and the flat base gives stability and fits well on the stove.

We had seen similar sauce pans in Target for $20. So on Amazon we ended up saving $8. In addition since Amazon does not charge tax for our location there was a further saving of around $1.5, which is not bad, and the pan was delivered on the dot.

Farberware Review Nice mid sized saucepan
This pan is perfect for me because I am single and don't need to cook up 5 or 6 quarts of anything. It's well made and easy to store. I even bought a second one for potential bigger dinner situations or holiday entertaining.

Farberware Review Terrific pot for the price
This pan is excellent for sauces, soups and vegetables and the 3-qt. size is very versatile. The handles stay relatively cool on the stove and takes up less space than most single-handled pans when storing it in the refrigerator. Cleanup is quite easy. Overall, a handsome and utilitarian pan and well worth the price.

Farberware Review Disappointed...
I had the teakettle was over a year now. The inside of the kettle is discolored and appears to have rust spots. I have other stainless steel pots, and none of them became discolor or develope rust spots like this one. I don't want to drink rusty tea. I stop using it.

Farberware Review Nice Teakettle
This will make a nice gift for a great price. A bargain for the money.

Farberware Review Enjoying it so far
Our last teakettle was poorly designed & caught water in the spout & so starting rusting pretty early. This one seems to be much better designed (& my husband informed me, being made out of stainless steel won't rust anyway). Yay! It doesn't always whistle (?? say 1 out of 4 times it doesn't), but we're happy with it.

Farberware Review Love this everyday cookware
I don't know what problem others may have had but I love this stuff!! I've never owned any high-end cookware but this is the best you can get in my experience for the price, and is a big improvement over what I've owned before. Conducts heat well, nonstick surface works fine, and cleans up easily inside and out. These are not lightweight and flimsy nor too heavy to want to use all the time but a nice balance in between. My only gripe if there is one, they could have attached the handles higher up so that the two rivets on the food surface don't get covered in food for even easier cleanup. But generally, it only takes 5-10 seconds to clean off with a scrubber sponge designed for nonstick cookware. Glass lids make for easy cooking and rinse off easily.

Pretty much the best value out there that I've found. I use it every day and have owned it for 2 years now without a problem and not a single scratch on them. I plan to get plenty more use out of this stuff, I only wish I had a couple other pieces to round out my set. But like others have said, great sturdy worry-free starter cookware! These go in the oven up to 350F I believe -- I never actually do that so don't quote me on it, but if you need it that's possible. If you desire higher temp cookware sorry, go with stainless steel.

...4.5 stars out of 5...I rounded down but just as easily could have given 5.

Farberware Review BEWARE -- this is a HUGE pan
Farberware classic is great -- an inexpensive yet equally functional alternative to the very expensive pots & pans. Note: recently Farberware reduced its quality, in that older Farberware pots & pans had their thick aluminum base completely encased within a stainless steel shell. The newer pots & pans have the aluminum base attached to the bottom, but not encased within a stainless steel bottom. So, their quality is less than it was; most people who "grew up with Farberware" may not realize this. Farberware used to hold the patent on the technique of having the aluminum base CURVE up the side of the pan -- they no longer do this, and are the same as many other manufacturers. Also note: if you are buying a 12" pan, this is a HUGE pan, since it has a squareish cross-section. I found it to be so absolutely huge -- you could fry a dozen onions in this monster -- that I simply never use it. The 10" and 8" sizes may be what you're looking for!

Farberware Review Great Pan, love to fry...
This is a great pan for preparing meals. I generally have trouble with a pan being able to hold all of the ingredients, but this one is definitely up to the task. Although it's not stick-proof, most of my cooking involves sauces or olive oil (usually both), resulting in relatively easy cleanup. Keep in mind that it's very heavy (12 inces of stainless steel), but it doesn't warp, tip over, or get knocked off the counter.

Farberware Review Great Product
We needed to replace a 30 year old Farberware frypan. This pan was better than we expected. We are so grateful for Amazon.com!!!

Farberware Review Happy at First, but not after 14 months
I love the design and stainless steel (no plastic taste). Enjoyed the coffee for awhile, but after a year we've been experiencing periodic short brew times producing nearly clear coffee. Seems that frequent cleaning, especially where the tube meets the bottom of percolator improves coffee perk. Pouring some coffee back through the top produces more flavor. It's a great piece of hardware, but the increasingly inconsistent perk leads me to give it a low rating. For daily use I'll go back to press coffee and use the farberware for parties.

Farberware Review Great coffee, Terrible Quality
We got a Farberware as a wedding gift over 15 years ago, it lasted about 10 years. Since then, in the last 5 years we've bought 3 replacements. They work great, until right about the 12-month mark, when it begins brewing luke-warm light brown water. I would rather pay more and have a pot that lasts longer ... it seems so wasteful to throw a pot away that still looks great.

Excellent product. Makes delicious hot coffee and keeps it warm well after perking process has finished.

Farberware Review farberware 3 Qsaucepan
Nice pan with a great strainer.

However, I had a big problem with Farberware on the warranty. They do not honor they warranty. So think twice buying Farberware products.

Farberware Review Love this SaucePan!
This is a great saucepan!!! Lightweight, easy to clean, we love the straining lid! We got the red one. Totally worth buying! Thanx!

Farberware Review Fantastic Design *Kudos to Farberware*
I have Le Creuset and Calphalon pots and pans but I find myself constantly reaching for this Farberware pot. The design is why I bought it. I would have been willing to pay $100 for one just like it from Calphalon or Le Creuset but this is the only one of its kind I could find anywhere online.
It doesn't have the weight of my other pots but the sheer practicality of being able to strain your food without worries of burning yourself (the spouts are great) or using another dish far outweights any reservations on possible durability.

Kudos to Farberware for coming up with such an ingenious and sensible design. It makes one wonder if the other brands out there ever listen to their customers.

Farberware Review Utensils not heat resistant
These are only good for cold items. Not heat resistant and melt and bend when used with heat. Have thrown these away and replaced. DO NOT BUY -- unless you're desparate for the crock.

Farberware Review Don't use for hot food!
Bought this for the kitchen and the only piece that truly does what it is supposed to do is the vase they give to hold all the pieces. The spoons both melted in pots of boiling water stirring spaghetti. The spatula bent and distorted while trying to lift something off a hot cookie sheet.

If there was a choice to give a half star, that is all I would give.....you have to give them some credit, since the vase looks nice on the counter

Farberware Review dont buy this junk, they suck!
i guess you get what you pay for. the only item of good quality in this set is the container that holds the pieces. i had one of the ladles in a pot of pasta that was only med high heat and the heat made the plastic shrink. the quality of this product is very cheap plastic. it feels like a toy. do not buy this junk. i wish someone would have revieed this as junk so that i didnt waste $15 on this crap. after the first ladle got deformed, i tried one of the pasta spoons and one scoop into the med high heated water and it ALSO melted. one scooop!!! this is junk and farberware should be embarassed to produce such cheap quality products. i wanted to write their company but couldnt even find the product listed on their website.

This poacher has plastic egg cups. I didn't know this when I ordered it. I was expecting teflon coated metal ones. The plastic cups take longer to cook and the eggs don't drop out very well.

Farberware Review 4 quart saucepan with fryer basket
I was dissapointed to see that the lid has a big hole in it so that you can't make rice in the pan for example. And they won't sell you a separate solid lid.
