They thought of EVERYTHING when they designed this salad spinner. I got the little one and it is just right for spinning lettuce for 2 and then storing the remainder in the spinner. It definitely causes the lettuce to last longer! :-) AAAA for this product!!

I had no information on this unit when I gave one to my Sister. Later I ask my sister if she would let me use it to see if I would like to get one. She would not even show me how it works. I stated to order one but it would take 30 day before shipping. So I do not have one yet.

I gave up on plastic chip clips after my mom showed me an obvious improvement: Binder clips. All metal construction, and a box of 12 costs less than just one of these plastic clips. I use them everywhere. Only loss is that they don't have magnets on them.

These items are what they are. They have a magnet on the back, allowing them to be placed on the refrigerator to great effect. For the purpose of keeping bagged dry items fresh, they are simply too small to accomplish the job. Oxo does make a wider clip for this purpose; I haven't purchased them yet so I can't offer any real opinion but it's my guess that they probably work better for the purpose of clipping chip bags closed.

These clips are very handy, very sturdy, colorful and fun. Unlike some of the cheap plastic clips that have metal parts that break after using them once of twice, these will last and last and keep holding those bags of chips closed tight!

I absolutely love mangoes but had almost given up on fresh ones after I found some canned ones. I hate trying to get the fruit away from the seed. I wouldn't even think of giving up fresh ones after using the Mango Splitter. It's easy to line up with the pit and cuts cleanly without crushing the fruit. It's a little harder to use if the fruit is really, really ripe but still gets the job done. Especially when mangoes are expensive, you will save the cost of the splitter just by getting all of the fruit off of the pit. Thanks OXO for a great tool.

After using this one time, you'll never try hacking your mango with a knife! Line it up and press, you have the seed separated from the fruit. A kitchen gadget that won't just sit in the drawer. If you like mangos, get this!

The problem with mangos is that the pit is well-secured inside the fruit by a pit with long, tough fibers attached. The pit is an inconvenient flat oblong, slippery under the knife. However, if you admire the "peach soaked in turpentine" exotic taste (and I certainly do) you might wonder if there isn't some way to cut out the flesh of the mango without a long, hard struggle.

This device is positioned over the mango like an apple corer, allowing you to cut the fibers around the pit and release it from (most) of the meat. While there is still some waste, and while mangos and their pits vary in size, this is pretty good.

It certainly beats my current method of mango preparation, which is to slice along side of the pit, making two shallow halves. I dice the fruit inside the hull and slice it off that tough skin with a knife positioned flat along the skin. I get cubes of mango, and then I either try to trim the pit or I nibble it as a cook's tidbit.

This cutter is faster by far than my old method and a lot neater. Big thumbs up to OXO for figuring this out.

This is a great ergonomically designed can opener. I found myself looking for cans to open (sadly, I am not joking). Works like a charm!

This can opener is not only pretty, but easy to use. It doesn't jump off the can rim and the turning handle is very good for arthritic fingers. I'm very pleased with this opener.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with this can opener. I had always purchased the cheapies before this( the kind that you have to angle this way and that just to get half way around the darn cans). Who wants to spend alot of money just to open a can?? Well, I am soooo glad that I spent the extra money. You barely have to turn the knob to get a can open, plus it feels good in your hand. I suffer from carpal tunnel, so my hand would cramp up easily. Not with this opener!! I highly recommend spendind a few extra bucks for this one.

This is a great set.

I've used it to transfer cold liquids as well as BOILING liquids without a problem. Cleans well in the dishwasher.

I like that the opening at the bottom is small enough to fit into the smallest of spouts, and yet wide enough to not get clogged by thicker liquids.

I have 2 sets - one for food (pouring costco size ketchup into a table-friendly bottle) and one for industrial (like fabric detergent refills). I've marked the industrial ones with a sharpie so I don't mix them up :)

Really, it hasn't failed me yet for anything I've needed if for. Oxo rarely fails me though -- when in doubt, go with a trusted brand.

I have yet to use the strainer, but this set is amazing. At first, I questioned my judgement about buying funnels for 8 bucks, but when I put these babies to use, they were sturdy and the "grip" was the incredible. I had dollar store funnels that slipped all over the place making a huge mess on my white countertop. With these, there's no mess because they stay put inside whatever you stick them in with those rubber grip strips. They're even easier to clean because they don't stain (like those dollar store pieces of junk). Well worth it!

I love everything about this measuring cup except that it's not stackable. I would buy other sizes if it were. Otherwise, it's great!

(1) It is geared to be VERY easy to turn, and . . .
(2) The lid can be replaced to reseal the can airtight. (The replaced lid will stay in place in the refrigerator, but it doesn't hold tight enough for jostling inside a picnic cooler.)

This is a really great can opener. My mother suffers from moderate arthritis and says it's the easiest can opener she's ever used. Plus, no more cuts from sharp can edges. This is a wonderful product!!

This devise cores and divides apples with no problem but it is a pain to clean. Where the metal folds over itself in several places there is a gap that collects bits of apple. Cleaning it with a toothpick every time I use it is a pain. Flushing it under the tap doesn't do it.

This is an outstanding device. in several I've had before the cutter blades were not fastened to the center piece. They would flex as the coring progressed and the slices would be rendered a mess. This corer has rigidly attached blades and therefore cuts clean, perfect slices every time.

We really enjoy this product. My kids eat a lot more apples and pears now.

Bought in 12/05. I too have a problem with the spring popping out. It appears that the locking mechanism is the cause. Not well engineered. I removed the locking mechanism with pliers. Would not recommend.

I have so many sets of tongs that I can compare these well. The locking features is terrific, and the the rubber handles are great. Love 'em!

All of my cookware is Calphalon, so I have to be careful about what kind of utensils I use. These tongs are fantastic! They grip the food very well and have a nice, wide gripping surface so larger pieces of food won't rip or tear when being handled. The construction is nice and solid, and I've put them through the dishwasher a number of times, without getting rust spots (like I do with my cheaper metal tongs).

My only problem is with the mechanism for locking the tongs. There is a metal/rubber tab at the top of the tongs, which pushes in to unlock and pulls out to lock. If I'm busy in the kitchen, many times I will only have one hand available for stirring or moving something. I can easily unlock the tongs one-handed by holding the middle of the tongs and pressing the tab against the counter. I can't lock the tongs by pulling the tab out unless I use two hands. The tongs are so large when opened, that just leaving them open on the counter is not an option. I'm not sure how they could be redesigned to remedy that situation, but it does make things inconvenient sometimes.

hands down the best non-stick tongs I've ever purchased. Definitely worth the money!

This is a quality product at a reasonable price. I use the tongs everyday and find they are the most used utensil I have.
