Sigh. Was so excited to receive this item and it arrived today via UPS in pieces. I should have heeded the previous reviewer's warning. Doh! Oh well. Live and learn. Live and learn. Refund, please!

How durable can a pan be that arrives in pieces inside the box? I can't imagine breaking my old cast iron frying pan...this one had a huge chunk out of the side. I sent it back and will look for a better quality item. Shame on Mario for endorsing this thing.

I received this pan today and I love it. It made two fantastic sandwiches in less than 5 minutes. The bread was crispy and had nice dark grill marks without being burnt. The lid is heavy enough to compress the sandwich without any additional pressing.

If you have a large family this pan might be a little small. I made two large sandwiches (approx 4 by 8 inches) with focaccia bread and had room for maybe one more sandwich.

This pan was very simple to clean as well. Cheese that melted in the interior of the pan easily released after soaking in warm water for 5 minutes.

The exterior of the pan is enameled, as the description states. However, the interior of the pan appears to be seasoned cast iron, not enamel as is reflected in the description. This in no way detracts from the functionality of the pan. I prefer the cast iron to the enamel. Properly seasoned cast iron is more non-stick than enamel.

I would highly recommend this pan to anyone that wants to make panini but doesn't want another appliance to sit on the counter.

I love using the stainless steel skimmer for plucking out errant doughnuts from hot oil and for plucking out vegetables from soups. The skimmer is well made, sturdy and can be used for its intended tasks.

I first bought a Staub 2-qt oven to make one pot meals. The lid has three raised bumps around the lip of the lid. Too much steam escapes and the upper layer of vegetables dried out. This Le Creuset lid sits perfectly flat and less moisture escapes. A very good product for my application.

The steamer was bigger than I expected it would be. It still works as expected, it just will only fit in my biggest pot to do the steaming.

This may sound odd, but this is the first steamer that I have ever had. So needless to say, I do not have others to compare it to. However,I find that I use it more than I thought I would! The unfolded steamer fits perfectly in the pot that I most use for vegies and the like, and when I pull out the sides (the steaming tray) it fits nicely up the sides of the pot. Besides your basic steamed vegies, I find that it's perfect for warming up leftovers like rice, leaving it hot and fluffy. I like that the handle extends, so you can keep the cover on it while cooking, but you can extend the handle for easier lifting. And you can't beat the price!

This pan was exactly what I wanted. Attractive, solid, easy to clean -- and non-stick is truly non-stick. The handle also has a unique shape that makes it easier to hang on to, even if wearing an oven mit.

This set compliments my existing set of Simply Calphalon pots & pans. It's a great product and I recommend it to everyone. If I had one complaint it would be that the handle is a little different than the pots I currently have. Not really a big deal unless you like everything to match perfectly.

Cuts bread from my machine very easily and doesn't make as much of a mess as other knives. Price is also very good for such a quality knife.

I've only used stamped serrated bread knives with tiny little teeth that create a mess and take some work.
I was amazed at the few crumbs this knife produced when cutting. With the weight of the knife it helps in making even slices very easy with minimum effort. Good value too.
