Timers Review Does the job
I never have really owned a fan before, so I cant really compare this fan to other fans. Well as the previous reviewer stated it got this breeze mode which is quite odd, It starts to spin real fast than uber slow, but it gets really annoying. Fan is also really loud but oh well, you get what you pay for.

Timers Review It works...
The fan works just fine and the remote and timer are nice features. However, this fan is very very loud! The low setting sounds like the high setting on most fans and it is a bit stronger than what low should be. The breeze option is more annoying than anything. It seems to work by turning the fan on and off... I guess because a breeze isn't constant? This would probably be fine - maybe even nice - if the fan wasn't so loud! So the fan gets soft then loud, soft then loud. It is not a feature I wiil ever use because of this.

Timers Review an oaky fan ...
The fan works fine and the remote is good too. But a few things to be noticed:

1. the lowest level of blow is still quite strong and not as quiet as it should be;

2. the timer is 2, 4 and 8 hours. I would like to have choices like 30 minutes and 1 hour.

Timers Review Cooper Cooler is AWESOME!
I love this product! I drink my sodas ice cold and this does the trick. No more waiting for cold soda, beer, wine, water - anything. I can't say it enough - I love this product!

Timers Review Works Great!
It does exactly what it says it will do: chills your drinks quickly!

Timers Review Great for anything that needs a quick chill!
After using a pitcher full of ice water time and again to chill our wine quickly for parties or just a dinner at home - this was a wonderful discovery! We have had it for about 2 years and it has worked flawlessly each time. As stated in other reviews, it will chill a can of soda (with no fizz), a beer or an entire bottle of wine in no time. It does tear up the labels pretty badly - so scrapbookers be warned. However, if function and cool factor is what you're after, this is for you!

Timers Review A Nice Little Timer
Not perfect, but good for the money. I've tried several of the available timers for the kitchen, and was amazed at the very weak volume of many of them. This one is loud enough. One flaw is that the start/stop button is too easy to bump and turn off if you are carrying it in your pocket (in vibrate mode, for instance). They should have a lock button for this or make it recessed. You can set this timer to count down minutes/seconds or hours/minutes, and you can choose any or all: light flash/vibrate/audible beep. I bought two.

Timers Review Well Engineered Timer--Multifunctional But Very Easy to Use
I wanted a timer that didn't make noise, and this one has worked out perfectly. It has four small switches on the back. One allows the user to control the light alarm, another the sound alarm, another the vibrator alarm, and the fourth controls the choice of whether the timer is set for hours/minutes or minutes/seconds. It is so refreshing to see a product in which the designers haven't tried to cram every last function into a maze within the main display. There is a clip on the back that is magnetic and also folds into a little stand to display the timer on your desk. The design of this timer is elegant in its simplicity. My only criticism is slight--when I cut open the package, one of those formidable package designs that requires a scissors, I also unknowingly cut the manual. No matter, this is a device so straightforward in its use that I have not needed one.

Timers Review Attention Please
I can be very distractable, so a timer to remind me that the tea is done, rather than have it ruined by brewing for much too long, is of real value. Ditto for the lunch in the microwave at work, so I don't forget all about it for an hour. But, I don't want to drive others nuts with the sound of my timer always beeping. The light-only mode in this timer does the trick perfectly, with a very large illuminated flashing red band across the top of the timer that is hard to miss when I'm working at my desk.

Oh, and I bought another one for my wife, at home recovering from knee surgery. Using the hours/minutes mode that goes up to 19 hours, I can set the four hour interval for her medications and be sure she'll get them on time. Most kitchen timers won't go over 99 minutes, not nearly long enough.

I expect the vibrate mode to be equally useful once I get to try it out - just wish they had made it less likely to accidentally push the on/off button and turn off the timer when in my jeans pocket.

Still, this gadget does several things no other time can do - so I declare it a winner.

Timers Review Dumb clock
Rice cooker is all that everyone says about it.GREAT!!!
With the one exception. The military 24 hour clock that can't be changed.I don't want my rice at 1700 hours. And oh yes the battery that runs the clock can only be changed by Zojirushi.

Timers Review Not bad...
I've had this for about a week now, and used it a couple times a day (to explore the features). It makes pretty good rice, but you have to realize that at this price point, you are paying for more than that.

Here are things with which you can justify spending $135 on a rice cooker:
1) Cooks brown rice well.
2) Steams food
3) Useful for things other than rice. This includes breakfast, oatmeal, and goes as far as stir-frying in the pot.

I realized how big #2 was when I got the "Ultimate Rice Cooker Cookbook" everyone was talking about. A low-tech rice cooker can be used to steam vegetables and meat by eye, watching through a glass plate, or at least controlling with a timer. This one cannot (although I haven't tried doing this on "keep warm"--perhaps it would work.)

I did a lot of research, and when I found a bargain price for the ZCC, I jumped at it over the Sanyo ECJ model, which I was holding about equal. Now I wish I had gotten that one--it has a manual mode which this lacks and a steaming tray for convenience. Really, most rice cookers >$100 will make the same rice (brown rice excluded? I don't know enough yet). But it is the extra things you can do with it that should justify your purchase.

Timers Review No comparison...........
I always used the gel freezer bowl and there is just no comparison...this machine is the best!!!I received mine today- set it up- made a base and got it running...the 4 stars are because the instructions are very small type and poorly written..the reviews here helped totally or it would have been a lot harder....I have Arthritis very severly and was very worried about being able to manage the machine- like getting the beaters in or putting the lid on...it was very easy and worked perfect...the machine is very quiet- the gel bowl was so loud we put it in the utility room to use- this is very quiet..I can't say enough good about it!

Timers Review No need to spend $600 on a great ice cream maker
I have owned this machine for two years. I use it quite frequently, as I give ice cream away a lot as small "thank-you" gifts and other gestures of spoiling those around me.

It is a pretty quiet machine that has the nice perk of having a removable bucket (for cleaning) where the ice cream is contained. I gave the machine four stars because I have a problem properly repositioning the gasket in the mixing chamber once it's taken out. I would also suggest not utilizing the small lidded opening intended for adding things like chocolate chips, nuts, etc. It's impractically small. Just gently fold stuff like that into your recipe once it's been churned.

I acknowledge that the timer is just that...a timer. The machine does not stop churning, but a farily loud alert will sound off. I don't mind hovering around the thing, anyway, but that's me.

The Gelato Junior WILL stop churning if the contents get too stiff, however. I have found that most recipes will render a texture just beyond soft-serve. You can then transfer it into another container and freeze until solid. That is, if the ice cream actually makes it that far without getting totally eaten;)

I find it a pleasure to use, nonetheless. It bears repeating, as others have mentioned...THE RECIPE MAKES THE RESULTS. I must strictly advise...do not let your world relative to this ice cream maker begin and end with the instruction booklet. Heavens, no! Please, please explore recipes from other sources!

Yes, this thing is heavy. You've been told! Other than moving the thing, this machine is quite simple to use. As I mentioned, the work is in preparing the recipe, not really in using the machine.

A nice long-term investment if serving those with dietary restrictions and/or children, or if you just want to create your own high-quality desserts.

Timers Review Love it
This has been everthing I thought it would be. Shipped in excellent time. I'm very happy with the product.

Timers Review Handy, but not durable
This item is easy to use, but does not last very long. Luckily, it is inexpensive, so I don't mind buying replacements

Timers Review Taylor Timer review
Teachers are using this timer for reading screening assessments. Easy to use, the beeper isn't overpowering and is perfect for our use. We need both the minute and second feature, resetting is easy to use and reliable.

Timers Review Timers for reading class
The timers work fine (it's been 3 months). I bought 8 for my reading class for timed readings. The beep is not too loud, at least it doesn't seem to distract the students. I like how it counts up and down, which most timers don't have. It's also great that it counts up to 99 minutes. The Pyrex timers only count up to 20 minutes. Definitely would recommend it.

Timers Review Good coffee... but the machine has issues
I must agree with the others who have reviewed this machine that it does make very good coffee. However, despite making great coffee it is a very messy machine. After every batch of coffee I have to clean the inside of the flip top lid as coffee grinds back up and stick to it... yuck... nothing like wiping up wet mushy coffee grinds. Additionally, the water level gauge developed a nice green algae that I could not get rid of. I had the machine less than a year and passed it along to a friend as the maintenance was not worth it. Have reverted back to Krups to give them another try.

Timers Review Best Coffee I Have Ever Tasted!!!
After muddling around in the Department store coffemakers for years, I purchased this machine based upon the fact that I have a Capresso S8 Automatic Espresso Maker and enjoy it. This machine is truly amazing, making by far the best coffee I have tasted from a home machine. The carafe can leak when brewing if not aligned right, and has done so twice in 6 weeks, but if you know this and are careful to align it, no problems. Also, if you preheat the pot before brewing, the coffee stays hot for at least 4 hours. I recommend the carbon filters as well. If you want the best, you have to pay for it....so far after 6 weeks of daily coffee, we are both smiling every morning because of this machine.

Timers Review Quality, Speed, Consistency - A Product That Delivered
Good brew quality, fast output, and operational consistency have set the Capresso apart for me.
Four brands of drip coffeemaker, priced from $30.00 to $170.00, held court on our counter.
Though easy to operate and making decent coffee when new, most developed output quality issues (despite cleaning) or operational problems (leaks, etc)within 6 months.

At 6 months and counting, the Capresso is going strong. It is the best drip coffee maker I have owned so far.

Timers Review Decent fan, LOUSY customer service
I ordered two of these fans in late May when they were on the Friday sale. Both arrived together and were opened and assembled the same day. The first one is fine, no problems and very effective, but the second one is still sitting in my guest bedroom, unused.

One of the four screws that go through the base and into the pedestal to hold the two sections together is either too small for the holes in the pedestal, or the opening is too large for the screw. I sent an e-mail to Soleus' Customer Service Dept the same evening using the contact info on their website and received a reply the next day asking for more info. The ONLY info my original e-mail hadn't included was my day and evening phone numbers, BTW. So with their e-mailed assurance that I would be contacted within "1 or 2 days" I waited. And waited. And waited.

Finally I sent a follow-up e-mail on June 14 with a copy of the previous mails. As of today the 21st, STILL no answer, either by e-mail or phone. I've also tried calling them several times and just get a busy signal. I sent one more e-mail today, but if they don't or won't honor their warranty the blasted fan is going right back to Amazon.

Timers Review Some problems... but then a soultion
I recieved the tower fan and it made a terible clicking sound whenever the fan ran, i called the manufactuar about the problem and two weeks later they dropshipped a new one out, they said that this was a common problem, and to just cut off the plug to the old fan and send just that to them in an enevlope. The fan moves the air but does little to cool, and yes the new fan is click free.

Timers Review Great Fan!
This is a great fan, especially considering I have two dogs and they can benefit from it too, Unlike most fans that blow high, this one really covers a large area. I also love the timer option. It was a great buy for me and I am very happy with my purchase.
Thank you,
Halee H.

Timers Review Great time and desk clock
I bought this timer and the Polder 898-90 timer to institute a 3-hour eating plan to support my efforts going back to the gym. I preferred the Polder for my uses and wrote a review for it, giving it 5 stars. This timer does the same things as the Polder, but I gave it 4 stars because the magnet came off the first time I attached it to the refrigerator and I would have had to go get some glue to reattach it and it is not as portable as the Polder. That said, what I love about the timer is the little pull-out stand to get it to set on a counter or desk, and I am using it as a desk clock and timer. It is easy to set up, to use, and works just the way I want it too. Too bad about the magnet, but still highly recommended.

Timers Review A Timer with Character
This is a great timer with a few minor flaws, none of which seriously detract from its usefulness. On the up side:

- Four countdown timers
- Loud beeper
- One count-up timer
- Reliable (we use them daily for homeschool)

On the down side:

- The magnet on the back falls off eventually (we rip it off since we don't need it)
- The metal piece for the stand pushes through the plastic in the back of the case over time, potentially causing trouble. I use a rubber eraser instead.
- Switching back to the clock when Timer 1 is stopped causes Timer 1 to be reset to zero (most of the time you'll let the timer run out and never encounter this)

Timers Review slick design
The others have said how nice this is and I agree. I'd also add that the industrial designer who did this was a genius. It clips on the belt; stands up on a counter; magnet mounts to a handy surface.

You can run multiple timers and store standard values in extended (3) additional timers. Great for turning a tray or such part way through a baking cycle.

The date set auto sets the day. (through 2099)

The only thing missing is a travel alarm feature and you can mojo that with a bit of math.
