Awesome quality for the price. I bought one of these to go with our Anolon 8-piece set and it fits perfectly into our kitchen arsenal. Not quite an everyday pan and not quite a stockpot it's like a hybrid that can be used for different tasks from boiling pasta or pan frying chicken and vegetables and probably even double as a small roasting pan. I really like Anolon quality and the signature 2 nonstick teflon is awesome.

This is my first experience with Analon and I can not complain one bit! I have had this for about 3 months now and love cooking even more!! My sauces cook faster and more even, the water boils almost instantaniously and the non stick coating is wonderful. The pot is extremely easy to clean and maintain. This really is a steal for the price you are getting it for .. you will not be disappointed!!

I've had this cookware since 1991. It has performed exactly as promised. Regardless of all the use (this is the hardest working piece in the set) It's in great shape. I use it for so many things, sauteing vegetables, a large omelette (to share).
A 10" skillet is a must have and more than one is even better. Please never use aerosol cooking sprays.
A "pumped" spray is recommended or just pour a little oil or a pat of butter for more flavor. Great even heat and total release, even when cheese is used. Fast easy hand wash!

Hubby is always frying eggs and constantly complained about the "non-stick" skillet he used. I've used other Anolon products so got the Classic skillet especially for him. He thinks it's great! The eggs slide out slick as you please and leave no evidence behind. A quick wipe with a paper towel and it's good to go for tomorrow!

I have used several brands of cookwear over the years looking for what I felt was the easiest to use and care for. I have had Calphalon, Emrilwear by Allclad and on down the line. The quality of this cookwear is by far the most superior cookwear I have ever used before. It heats evenly and clean up is a snap.
I was also very impressed with Amazon as they told me to expect shipment on the 14th of February and I recieved my new pan 2 days after I ordered it.

This is a great set of pots and pans. Not only did I get this set, but I also purchased about 5 more pans, and love them all. I was comparing this set to the Calphalon Contemorary. I went to various department stores to talk to sales people that work with both companies, and they all preferred Analon Advanced. These pans are truly nonstick inside and out. The only place where food gets stuck is on the bolt(s) inside the pan that hold the handle(s) on. The handles on both the lids and the pans never get hot. I have even put them in the oven, and they work perfectly. The only thing that has happened is the bottom of the pan where the flame hits it has slightly discolored. However, I keep my pans in the cabinets so it's not an issue.

I love this cookware set. They are easy to clean and look very contemporary! This is a good startup set to add on. Also, it's a breeze to buy from Amazon. The order was shipped on the day it was promised. Great job Amazon.com!

This is a very nice size griddle pan. You can cook sausage and egg breakfast for 2 or warm a tortilla for a burrito or to make rolling an enchilada easier. The pan has a nice weight to it without being overly heavy. My Apartment has an electric stove and the large burner on medium to medium-low heats this pan very evenly. It does not seem to have any hot spots, so food cooks and browns quite evenly. The high domed lid from Anolon's 12-inch stir-fry fits this griddle very well giving it even more versatility.

I bought a whole set of Anolon cookware and got the griddle and a chef's pan as a bonus. I love this cookware - just care for it as the enclosed directions instruct and you will have no problems. The griddle makes great pancakes, french toast, and eggs. It heats tortillas really well, also. Buy with confidence and enjoy your new cookware.

With the recommended care and cautions, these products should last a lifetime. After several uses, the product still looks new. Lesser cookware's outer areas and bottom are virtually impossible to clean, even though the cooking area is OK.

If I have read correctly, Meyer will replace broken glass lids that come with some of their other products if the ring (and knob?) are returned to them. This fact makes me feel a lot better about the lids and even more positive about the company.

I like the bakelite knobs and handles; they do not require potholders for stovetop use.... However, they are limited to 350 degrees in the oven.

I just bought this 2 weeks backs, it arrived on time, well packed and with warranty info.

The set is very heavy, and looks great...but the best part is it is dishwater safe which is very important to me.

This knife became dull in 3 months with very little use. I only use this knife 2-3 times a week cutting meats and vegi's. Now I have to go get it sharpened as it can't even cut a pineapple properly.

Better spend a bit more on a decent knife than on this low-end set.

Don't know a whole lot about knives but I know what I like. This is a really nice knife, it has good weight and a very comfortable grip. The blade is rather long, so I would suggest this as something to augment what you already have. The sheath is made of a sturdy hard plastic and locks solidly onto the blade.

The cutting board is a VERY nice added bonus. I got this when Amazon had it for 20 beans but I have noticed that it has gone up recently. If you see that it is this price again then I recommend that you snatch a set for yourself or your favorite cook.

I have used every major brand of cutlery and I can tell you there is no better value than analon knives. I have been cooking and managing restuarants for over 30 years and I have found that the $100 knives are no better than thr $25 ones. The analon product looks and feels just as nice as the most expnesive brands out there and is one third the price. Try them you will love them. I might add that all knives have to be reground from time to time as the edge will become blunt and no sharpener will restore it. When this happens find a local grinding service and have them restored. A good knife can last you a lifetime if you take care of it happy chopping Mike

I started off liking this set a lot! But over time (less than 2 yrs.), I'm getting more and more disappointed by it. With the large Dutch-oven type pan (which I love using such a size), it is rather warped (after only the first use!) and doesn't sit flat on my smooth glass top surface. That makes for uneven cooking. Then, on my 8 qt. saucepan, the water boiled away once causing the food to stick. Now I can't even cook pasta without it totally sticking! It is worthless! I am so careful with these pans -- I don't even stack them (Takes us a ton of space in my kitchen this way, too.) and I NEVER use metal utensils or wash them in the dishwasher but they seem to be wearing out. I've only used them for less than 2 years, having bought them for use in my brand new home. Now that I need just these two replacement pieces, they seem to have discontinued the line. Also, I don't like how the lid handles get hot. Not so sure this was my best option in cookware. Good luck with yours!

We've had these for two years and really have loved them. We still do love them. But, we dropped the lid to the stock pot and it shattered. The company tells us they do not stock replacmenet lids for Anolon Professional, but we could use one of the other Anolon line lids. Unfortunatly the size of this lid does not agree with any of those that they do have. So, like the product, but am very disappointed with the company.

I got this to give it as a gift to a friend. But when it came in, there were 2 things that surprised me - Like another reviewer had mentioned, this came with a sticker saying "Thanks for buying $300 worth Analon Products". The same sticker was also stuck to the pot. Also the pacaking was damaged(the packaging was torn, and the shipment was not even taped right) I have been buying things with amazon for a really long time and I this is my first bad experience.

But hey the pot is good - and is great for bulk cooking. I havent used it yet to comment on it, but it sure does come close in terms of weight and feel to my Professional Calphalon set that I use currently.

So if you want to gift this to some one, this one is not an option.

Just as with the 5 quart sauteuse - this pan is marked " our thank you for purchasing $300 worth of Anolon" It's a sticker to that effect on the box, the sticker peels off (leaving the round spot it was stuck to behind) but on the handle is a tag that says the same thing! I was giving this as a gift, so it's a wee bit disconcerting to have someone think you are giving them your "free gift" ...isn't that generous of me!...Fortunately, it was a gift to my son and it was no big deal. But I bought 5 of the sauteuse to give away and they all have the same deal going on. So, if you want this for a gift - keep that in mind.You can remove the tag - which I did on the other pan - but if you send it directly from Amazon to your gift recepient, (like I am with my sister-in-law)just keep that in mind. My son says the pot works great.

I just received this pan today, and made my first pasta dish using it. I was able to cook 1 lb. of rotini at full boil without having to worry whether the pan would boil over. This will make cooking pasta so much nicer!

I like it so much that I bought another one. As another person said, a pot like this can even be used for stir-frys. I don't know if I will use it for that, but this pan is very versatile. One thing I do plan on doing is cooking the pasta sauce in one, and the pasta in the other. I won't have to worry about mess from either pot, and although it may seem like overkill to use 2 of these, in actuality the cleanup is very easy.

The pot comes with a tight fitting glass lid, which also fits other pots in my collection (not by design, by luck). All in all it is very good quality and I expect it to last for a long time.

The price can't be beat at $21.59, and at this price it gets 5 stars. The pan would still be worthwhile at a higher price, but then it would get closer to competition with Calphalon, so I would be less likely to give it 5 stars. But at this price, go for it!

Even though I am very careful with how I use and store my pots and pans the exterior of this set scratches very easity due to normal use. I store my set in a deep drawer in my new kitchen and removing and replacing these causes the scratches. I am very disappointed in the poor exterior finish and how badly this set looks. I would not buy this set again. I sent a pot back to Meyer for their inspection and am waiting to hear from them. I will probably replace this set very soon, but not with another Anolon product.

We recently decided to resupply our kitchen and this set was a perfect starting point, providing the basic essentials and we then purchased other individual pieces to round it out. Everything in the set is very nice quality, excellent heat distribution and the non-stick is verk slick. They are nice and thick without being too heavy, have good solid bases and the glass lids, which we both prefer.

Very nicely made. The pots heat evenly and quickly. Although the lid handles get quite hot, so I actually give 4.5 stars.
