I am very happy with the product. It fits the fry pan perfectly.

I bought this frying pan as a gift for my Mother and had it shipped to California where she is taking care of my 99 year old grandfather. The packaging and papers were accidently thrown away. She tried to use the pan for a roast on Jan. 12th. and set the dial to 220 to roast slowly. When she checked it in a short time, the water was boiling rapidly and could not be reduced to a simmer. No matter what setting, it just plain got scortching hot.
There is supposed to be a one year warranty, but Amazon only takes returns in the first 30 days and in original packing. I tried to contact them but can find no contact information on the web. Someone should replace the defective part, but I don't know how to accomplish this.

It is March and I still have not used my new electric skillet. It is beautiful - but there are only two of us in the house and it is definitely meant to cook for more people (in other words, quite large). I will critique as soon as I have an occasion to use this skillet.

An elegant cooking and serving piece that extends the amount of burners you have access to for entertaining.

This product is one of my most treasured cookware purchases. Vegetables have never looked nor tasted better, not to mention the healthy aspect of not losing valuable vitamins in the steaming process. Veggies are steamed quickly to taste. The product appearance is always bright and shiny after every washing in the dishwasher and will last a lifetime I am sure.

I have had this for a while, and use it fairly often. I think it does a great job with pancakes and eggs too. I have also used it to make french toast and grilled cheese sandwiches. Which the kids love. It is easy to clean and best of all, you do not have to heat the entire kitchen up in the warm weather, just to make breakfast or lunch.

I've found the Pancake Factory to be very versatile and well-suited for a one or two person household. Using it to prepare a meal for more than two people can take a little too much time for it to be enjoyable. It does a wonderful job with pancakes, no more problems flipping them and making a mess. It's great for making fried eggs with either soft or hard center. Just wipe a little oil on the cooking surface and you're ready to cook eggs perfectly every time. No more broken centers, jusr close the top, cook for a minute or so, flip and there you have perfect eggs. You can sprinkle corned beef on the cooking surface, add an egg, close the top and presto, super easy corned beef and eggs. It also works well making potato pancakes from leftover mashed potatoes. Just use your imagination and you'll surely come up with ideas suited to your taste buds. Clean up is fast and easy making the Pancake Factory more than just another appliance you use once in a blue moon.

Great for enjoying a glas of wine and eating slow your junks of meat, shrimps, mushrooms, vegetables,... (it takes a while till everything is done, but I heared this should be healthy).

Try it: turn off the TV, open a good bootle of wine and enjoy your grilled goddies and a good conversation with your wife/husband/friend.

My children and I use this OUTSIDE for fajitas and end up surrounded by neighborhood children and adults! We're the hit of the neighborhood and finish off our meals by popping off the top (be careful, it's hot!) by using the included forks for s'mores!
This is a versitile, not-for-adults-only indoor and out grill. It's very attractive, quite the conversation piece, easy to set up and to clean.
We use it much more than I ever dreamed. Originally I'd envisioned using it for romantic tete-a-tetes or for entertaining but surprisingly - a pleasant surprise - this grill has evolved into a useful and used often family cooking staple! Just add water and a sterno and voila! It cooks anything you would normally grill, just make sure your meats are thinly sliced. Heat and eat! Yum!
My eight-year-olds (well supervised of course) LOVE "showing off" before their friends. What a hit at slumber parties! Barbecue indoors! Conversation piece galore! Of course this makes for perfect gifting too: Neighbors, friends, teachers, coaches, babysitters, PTA donations... endless!

Whenever my ex and I had guests over, we'd break this out and serve shrimp and other meats with various seasonings. Everyone had a blast, and it's a great way to spend time with your guests instead of running back and forth to the kitchen. Just put it on the coffee table (don't worry, the bottom doesn't get hot), crack open a few beers, and let your guests have fun cooking their own food! When I moved to my own place, I ran out and bought two more of these babies!

This overall is a handy appliance if you live in a small space. I so far have steamed, boiled, fried, and made a stew with it. All these things turned out well, but if you have the space and money, I would just get individual appliances to do these things, because it works ok but you can tell its not as good as using just the straight up fryer, straight up crockpot. But if youre buying it for space and money saving, its a great deal. We mostly got it cause you can make rice or noodles or even soup in the bottom of the pot while steaming vegies, fish with the basket part over the liquid. Its all done in the same pot at the same time, and is much healthier when making casaroles to keep the vegies separate in the steaming area, adding them in at the end. I would say its weakest point is for frying, the basket provided does not really cut it, its too flimsy and the way the holes are set up doesnt work out. We skipped the basket part after a while, just using it open with a slotted spoon when done, but it takes a lot of oil to even work, if you have two or less youre making for its going to seem a bit much. The main pros are that It is very easy to control the temperature, the heating is consistent, the kettle part is easy to clean, (basket is not too hard if its soaked a bit) you can do multiple types of cooking in it at one time, and finally it heats up fast.

I bought this for my wife and I to use a few months ago. We were looking for something to cook in that was between the 4qt. and 8qt. size. At first I just wanted a new pot, then when I saw this I took a chance - and I'm glad I did! We use this almost every day. I have slow-cooked meats in it, cooked pasta, casseroles and soups along with dozens of other items. I don't often deep fry, but the few times that I have I have enjoyed this cooker. I especially like the extra room it offers over most "dedicated fryers".

I can cook enough for all five kids and still only have one easy pot to clean! What more do you want?
