KitchenAid Review Sturdy, But Not Adjustable...
This cheese slicer is great - if you like thick slices of cheese. If you want anything less than 1/8", good luck! Your hand will have to be more steady than mine, otherwise, you're stuck with thick slices of cheese. On the positive side, this item like Kitchenaid's other utensils is sturdy and easy to keep clean. Check the big box discounters, I saw this for $4.99 after buying it for $7.99.

KitchenAid Review VERY SOLID CHEESE SLICER
To be honest, when i slice cheese I just prefer to use a good, old fashioned abd sharp Chef's knife. I've always hated the way cheese slicers leave that tiny bit of unsliced cheese at the bottom where the slicer does not go down all the way. That said i got this as a Christmas gift and it does a great job. It's good sized, feels comfortable in your hand and grips well. Best of all it's the favorite of the rest of the family who is not as comfortable around a chef's knife as I am. Nice item. Does it's job.

KitchenAid Review Excellent
Does everything as advertised, and does it well. This thing makes great home-made ice cream. The ability to modify the volume by varying the amount of the ice cream mix works, but takes some practice to get the desired result. Cleaning is very easy, which is a good thing, because it weighs 50 lbs and basically has to stay where you put it. I think it has only two caveats. This is a noisy piece of equiment, although, with some experience, the change in the noise as the ice cream get processed can indicate when its done. The second is that its a good idea to stock up on the gaskets it needs to keep the seals in the dispenser because they will wear out, although KitchenAid did provide an extra set in the box.

KitchenAid Review the best machine money can buy
It does all it promises plus more. Its easy to use and produces great ice cream, in fact, ice cream better than you could ever hope to buy. For ice cream lovers its a dream come true.

KitchenAid Review I LOVE this machine. I love it I love it I love it
My mom let me use this machine and now I'm the official "ice cream maker" in the house. Clean up is really easy even for a kid. You just pour a quart of warm water in the funnel lid but make sure it is closed because this machine has an interlock feature that stops the machine from operating when the lid is not engaged just flip the mix switch and use the lever to drain out the soapy water. I made vanilla ice cream from an episode I saw on Good Eats it was so smooth and you control the amount of overrun this is the only machine on the market that lets you do this....light ice cream for the kids and sinfully rich ice cream for your parents. Store bought ice cream doesn't stand a chance against this machine. Try it ...you'll love it!

KitchenAid Review Excellent product if you love to cook and/or bake
If you are a frequent baker or cook this is an excellent product to own. I use this on my counter top for easy clean up.

This mat makes it much easier to make cannoli, cookies, or pie dough. I also use it to keep my counter clean when I am kneading bread dough or making gnocchi. The smooth side of this mat has inch marks to guide you in rolling or stretching dough to a specific size.

This mat is also nice to use as a counter top protector to place hot pots directly on without scratching or burning your counter. It is great to place under your cutting boards to keep them from sliding around.

This product is a little difficult to clean due to its size. The manufacturer states that you can put it in the dishwasher. I have not tried this because it is so large that it would take up the majority of the top rack of the dishwasher. It will clean up with hand washing. However, it does have a tendency to pick up lint. I find it best to allow it to air dry. I store it in the tube it came in. It immediately lays flat when removed from the tube. This mat is much thicker than the standard Silpat which has a tendency to curl on the edges if stored in a roll.

KitchenAid Review Large and flexable
I have to admit that this is not as handy as I hoped. It is big and clumsy and it's a little too flexable.

KitchenAid Review Fabulous Slotted Spoon / Scoop!
The silicone material is amazing. I love it. This oversized spoon is easily as large as a ladle and it is very sturdy. It can easily handle meatballs, sausage etc. It is especially good for removing meatballs or any meat from sauce. The handle is large and easy to manage. Nothing stains or sticks to the slippery silicone spoon and it is very easy to wash. Very highly recommended! A+!

KitchenAid Review Good, solid... decent product
A very nice size and a welcome change from the plastic throw away type melon ballers that I had been using. This is long enough to get down inside a watermelon without getting your sleeves sloppy.

18/8 stainless is good, 18/10 is better but this is solid enough for the task. It holds up and does not bend in the face of harder melons (cantelops, honeydews). With stainless steel you can put it in the freezer for a bit and scoop out beautiful little rounds of ice cream and sorbets for dessets. Or heat it under the tap to make it easier to scoop very hard ice cream.

I have used it to scoop out not only melons but, ice cream and frozen desserts (including granita which is a bit messy to wrangle), side dishes like potatos and rice and cookie dough.

I think the handle could have been more ergonomic but that is not to say it's bad, just that it could have been a bit better. It seems a solid piece of kitchen equiptment and appears that it will last for many years despite the one year replacement guarentee. ( I think it should be longer, this isnt a product that is used excessively).

Overall, I would give this a positive vote. It has a fairly good design and good contruction. It has multiple possible uses and could be stored easily.

KitchenAid Review Easy on the eye and the pocketbook!
I have a few pieces of All Clad, which cook well, but have small handles with a sharp edge, which makes picking up the pan a little precarious. All Clad also costs three times as much as Kitchenaid. I bought the set in time to do all my holiday cooking. From sauteing onions for the stuffing, boiling caramels to 256 degrees and boiling down the turkey carcass, I was blown away. These pans are world class performers. They are beautiful to look at, well balanced, and have large well formed handles. I could not be more proud of how I spent my money or more pleased with the way these pans perform. This will be the last set of cookware you will ever buy.

KitchenAid Review A must for the home canner
We used this to make applesause. in a word, Awesome. It turned 5 pounds of apples into applesause in five minutes.

KitchenAid Review Best applesauce maker since the tree
This gizmo makes the shortest work of making applesauce you ever imagined. You slice the apples, cook in a large pan with a small amount of water until they are soft. Then you push the apple mush, skins, seeds, core, stems, etc. in the top of the food grinder, and out the sieve part comes pure applesauce, out the end, comes the seeds, skin and stem. It takes maybe 10 minutes to process a 16qt pot of cooked apples.

I usually get every burner on my stove going, heat the pots of apples, process the mush into sauce, then can the lot. The canning part takes the longest.

Anyway if you can apple sauce, you need this tool.

KitchenAid Review Very tasty, very big mess!!
I love Kitchenaid products, but this one failed miserably!!
The taste of the coffee is excellent, but there were grounds and coffee everywhere. The Pause N Serve feature works as it brews!! I don't think that was the intention though. When I called the company the not so brilliant guy told me that they hear this all the time on this model and that you just have to push the coffee maker in far enough so that the pause n serve feature isn't activated...well, unless we put a heavy ceramic bowl in front of the carafe to hold the pot in place we have coffee soup all over our counter and floor.

My husband and I love coffee and we like it STRONG! We feel coffee is very important to survival in our home as we have 5 kids and this helps us stay alive and energetic for the 48 hours a day we care for them!!

My strong advice...don't but this model. Though Kitchenaid is a great product and I have never had problems with any of their other lines, this one should be junked! We are returning ours!

KitchenAid Review kitchenaid is bad
As with other reviews here, my coffeemaker spews coffee all over the counter, this is my second kitchenaid coffeemaker- the first was recalled and they sent me this piece of garbage- I have a 220.00 kitchenaid blender that is worse than this coffeemaker- STAY AWAY!!

KitchenAid Review The best Coffee ever
I have not had any problem with this coffee pot. I think it is one of the best ever. I have not had any problem with grounds in my coffee or electrical problems. Great all the way around.

KitchenAid Review KitchenAid Professional Turkey Grabber
I'm pleased with the quality of the grabbers. The protective sheild has already saved a few pierced fingers. I use the product not for trukey, but as an all purpose BBQ tool.

KitchenAid Review Turkey Grabbers
Handy for turning chicken and turkey over haft way through cooking time even if lots of people dont, I do. The handles are great, I have big hands, and when I orderd them was not sure what I was getting.
