Okay, now I've turned into a gadget junkie after watching Emeril for so long, but finally, I've received a gadget that just works wonderfully. I really like Kitchenaid products and this one is just so very nice. It isn't lightweight like most brushes so you can get a firm grip on the thing and it doesn't slip out of your hands if your hands get a little greasy with the basting. No, the bristles are not natural - they're nylon but that's even better in my book. It just works like a charm and I'm just so very happy that I finally have a substantial pastry brush. Besides, it can take being mangled by a toddler and springs back like it is new so how can you beat that?! My previous one died under the pressure....

Anyway, this one does a wonderful job and even goes in the dishwasher (I use the top rack). A great buy too!

This is a great pastry brush. It is the perfect size for pastry. It doesn't have the natural bristles described by Amazon but I have to say the nylon bristles it has are very easy to clean and work just as well. I actually prefer the nylon bristles because I think they are much easier to clean and are much more sanitary than the natural bristles. Well worth the $. Highly recommended!

I'd been waiting on adding this peice to my current red set, then the price dropped and I ordered one. Love it! It hasn't left my stovetop yet, every morning it gets used. I can fix the entire breakfast on it and I love the deep sides and the small dip in the corner to drain off grease. Well done, kitchenaid!

i've been wanting a 2-burner griddle and have been researching on what's available. i decided on this cause not only is Kitchen Aid a reputable brand, it was an excellent price! I'm so happy with this product, it made several perfect pancakes at once with its even heat distribution, and perfect bacon too! plus, cleaning it was a breeze. forget heavy cast-iron or other expensive griddles. you can't go wrong with this one. and the red colour is so funky and attractive!

I purchased two identical refrigerator /freezer thermometers. One is for the regrigerator comparment, the other for the freezer. However, just out of curiosity I placed them BOTH in the same compartment. They do not show the same temperature, which indicates to me that at minimum on is not working properly, but how do I know which one?

I would have preferred the higher power of the Professional model, if we could have found it; however, the 325 watts and 5 QT bowl of the Artisan are working out just fine. The bread paddle does a great job of mixing dense sourdough bread. The only problem is reminding my husband to not mix anything for as long as the recipe says because the mixer is so much faster than others. Well worth the high cost (even at great discounts); and we keep ours out on the counter for frequent use.

This is the BEST salad spinner I've ever used. It is easy to use and it stays in place on the counter while spinning - not moving about. It also has a set of three "wings" that can be used to separate the basket into separate compartments for cleaning multiple items at once. I HIGHLY recommend this product.
