I love this colander. No more scrubbing the tiny mesh holes of a strainer. Picks up all the big pieces of chicken and vegetables after I make chicken soup and strains the soup. The flat edge is ingenious as you can scrape right to the side of the pot with no metal edges sticking out like a strainer has. It's news to me that the handle isn't enamel and I would never leave any utensil in a hot pot for an extended period of time. I have this utensil for 3 years and it still looks like new. Buy this and you'll wonder how you ever did without it.

I've never had a kitchen tool that is as handy as the KitchenAid Pasta Scoop. It's ideally sized for straining pasta, vegetables and stock. It's lightweight and cleans up much easier than a conventional colander. In fact, I just bought four more as gifts for friends and family.

I ordered this item to go with the other matching Kitchenaid gadgets. Not sure of a real purpose for it, I grabbed the colander to use when I needed something strong and sturdy to take a whole chicken out of a pot of boiling water. Wow!! This colander can lift a complete chicken out of the water without any trouble. This is the best utensil I have for this task! It cleans up easily and looks great hanging on the wall along with the others gadgets that match. I am sure I will be using it for other difficult duties.

The extra long rubber portion of this spatula works very well to scrape down the sides of the bowl as it flexes along the curve of the bowl and reaches the bottom easily.

This fits the curve of the kitchen aid mixer bowl perfect to scrape the sides when needed. Easy to use and flexable.

This spatula has an easy hold grip, works like it's supposed to, and washes well in the dishwasher.

It is a forged knife at close to stamped price. The edge came right up to snuff after a few passes on a steel. I bought it and their large Santuku and am quite happy with both purchases. I'll use the Santuku a lot more but this is a kitchen standard item . I had a nice forged one but it went missing. Gotta be more careful.

I have a lot of use for this wonderful pan. It works so much better for me than other similar pans that I have owned. Stir-Fry comes out fantastic.

One of the things I really enjoy about my Kitchenaid stand mixer is that I can keep the attachments (whisk, beater, and dough hook) inside the bowl when not in use. These covers fit snugly on the bowl (and even though they have an indentation, still leave room for all the attachments) and do a marvelous job of keeping everything CLEAN. I would HATE having to wash off the dust every time I wanted to use the machine. I'm not talking about leaving it alone for a month at a go. Even two days is enough to get some dust in there, since it lives in a high-traffic kitchen. Since I purchased these covers, I can just clean everything, pop on the cover and I'm ready to go the instant I want to mix something. You really can't go wrong. My only complaint is that they are only dishwasher safe on the top shelf, and I'd even only rate them as 90% safe up there, at least in my high-temperature dishwasher. The lids still fit, and are still functional, but there was a very minor warpage... and that's the top shelf. Still, be careful and you'll have no problems.

These covers are so handy! I stack a 3-quart bowl inside my 4-1/2-quart bowl and one lid keeps both bowls clean and ready to go. I store the flat beater inside and keep the other attachments elsewhere, but there's room to keep them 'undercover' too, if you want. I know I'll be glad to have the covers whenever I need to set a mixture aside or store it in the refrigerator for cooling. I'll save enough money on plastic wrap to pay for them. If you've got the 4-1/2 quart KitchenAid mixer, you'll appreciate these covers. Be sure you know exactly which size mixer you want them for.

The picture makes these look like they have a hole in the middle. They do not, what you are seeing is an indentation to account for the stirring thing which sits below the bowl edge when the mixer is in it's lowered position.
We got them for sanitary storage but they create a decent enough seal for storing unused mix/dough.

I did not buy mine through Amazon, but at another store. Mine came as a set with a metal holder, which I think they call a "sled". It has handles at both ends and allows the silicone muffin pan to go into the oven without placing it on a cookie sheet. This holder/sled makes getting the muffin pan in and out of the oven very easy.

I made banana nut muffins in my pan tonight. The recipe I followed said to spray the bottoms of the cups with spray which I did. I don't think it would have mattered if I had skipped that though. The muffins came out perfect and didn't stick to the sides, which were not sprayed. Clean up was a breeze.

I will definitely be buying more products like this. I can't wait to throw out my metal baking pans, which have often given me unsatisfactory results.

I am wondering if they may have changed these recently, since I had none of the problems that some of the older reviews have. I used cooking spray, and I baked the muffins for the same time as I would have in a metal pan. They came out perfectly. I did not even have to let them cool *at all*. I flipped the pan over, and every single one of them literally fell right out!

Also, I had no trouble getting them into the oven. I was ready to put the pan on a cookie sheet, but I found that it wasn't at all necessary. The pan was stiff enough, but you did have to use both hands to put it into the oven, but that was no big deal.

I can't wait to throw out my metal pans!!

Very pleased with Silcone Muffin pans. Greatest benefit is No Rust or Breakage.
