Grate (Ha, ha!) Zester, and, you don't slice your fingers!I have a lovely scar on my thumb from previous graters, which is why I was looking for a better one to replace the old one. Well, this little guy is awesome! The weight of the handle is so nice and you can get a good grip on the lemon, lime, orange, whatever you need to do. Kitchenaid utensils are simply wonderful and this guy is no different. If you're looking for a great item that will be around for a LONG time, this one is it! Plus, it even loves the dishwasher.

Very poor productI cannot believe what an ergonomically ill-fitting and horribly working product this is. The best thing I can say about it is that it looks pretty. Some others are satisfied, so I can only surmise that there are vast differences in the quality of the products leaving the assembly line. Unfortunately, this brand-new can-opener is going in the trash.
Strangly unpredictable quality.I bought one of these about 6 months ago and it worked beautifully. No problems. Moved out of state and accidentally left it behind, so I replaced it with another. Will not cut. At all. I don't get it. Was there a recent lemon run of these things??
a mysteriously horrible productIt looked like it would work,
It turned like a high quality item
It won't open even 1/6 of a can as a newly
purchased item.
Go cheap and shop old time stores for
can openers. This is an over-engineered
benz-lemon of a can opener.
I'm taking it back to Nob Hill tomorrow
morning.

Excellent for the PriceI've owned more expensive cookware sets, but this moderately priced set from KitchenAid ranks with the best of them. All of my previous cookware was stainless steel or low-end aluminum, so I was not sure what to expect in terms of durability. However, this set has exceeded my expectations. The pans are wonderful to cook with, the non-stick coating beats anything I've tried before, the lids fit tightly, and the insulated handles make oven mitts unnecessary. I love how light the pans are -- even full they are easy to lift and pour from. One note of caution: The domed lids and upright lid handles mean these pans require a bit more storage space than other sets I've used.

The designer had to be a GIANT!!! These tools are HUGE!! No really I'm not exaggerating, they are very BIG! And they fall out of every pan I have except for the big ol' stock pots or dutch ovens, but who's gonna use non-stick in those anyway.. I guess if you are a teflon- a -holic, and you even buy those non-stick.
Other than them being huge they are okay, they are heat resistant.I kept them because I basically got'em for FREE! I store them in the drawer they are not really used. They are not for me, my husband reaches for them more than me.
Too awkward and clunky. 2 stars

Too Large for average useThese utensils are made extremely well. They are sturdy, easy to clean, etc. however, they are very large. Much larger then what your average person uses or is use too. They even seem rather large for KitchenAid pan/skillet set I bought.
Not that bigAfter I read the reviews, when I bought this set I was so worried thinking they were too big. But then I received them and was gladly surprised to see that, in fact they are big, but not THAT big, just a standard height. The tools are not very heavy, but of course according to their height and material, they can weigh a little (it depends of the user so much, I would reccommend to more picky customers to go see them in a store before buying them without measuring them). Overall, they are very easy to use and clean. High heat resistance.

Leaky MessGot this coffee maker after the recall and am sorry to say will never come close to the quality of the coffee maker they recalled (KCM200). Coffee can run all over if carafe is not postioned just right! For a programmable coffee maker, if you set it to start in the morning, instead of waking up to hot coffee, you get to clean up the mess... Also, another flaw I have experienced is that it can easily overflow grinds into your brew. After waiting forever for this replacement, it was not worth the wait.
If everything is just right, it can brew a nice cup.

Disappointing piece of junkI have several other Kitchen Aid appliances and they are all great - solid, hefty machines that do superior work, the type of items Kitchen Aid has built a reputation on. So that is why I bought this coffee maker (actually I have the previous model before this "update"). Boy, howdy! Was I blind-sighted! The quality of the housing is no better than a Mr. Coffee for 1/4 the price, and I too, have experienced the leaking problems like other reviewers have noted. And on mine, the spring that keeps the shut off unit down while you take the pot off the machine to have that first cup while it is still brewing - well, it decided to not do it's job only after about a month of owning it. The unit leaks coffee as if that is what it was designed to do. HEY, KITCHEN AID ENGINEERS - DO YOU READ THESE AMAZON REVIEWS? IF YOU DO, THEN GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD AND MAKE A COFFEE MAKER THAT IS IN LINE WITH YOUR OTHER PRODUCTS! AND GIVE THOSE OF US THAT BOUGHT YOUR PREVIOUS JUNK A FULL CREDIT TRADE IN TO UPGRADE TO IT ONCE IT IS AVAILABLE! HOW HARD IS IT TO MAKE A GOOD COFFEE MAKER? MY GRANDMA'S EARLY 70'S MR. COFFEE IS STILL PERKING STRONG - WHAT AN EMBARASSMENT TO KITCHEN AID. Nuff' said.
Great Coffee MakerMakes perfect coffee... Some poeple have said that the machine over flows, well guess what it's not the machine's fault, they filled it too high... If you know how to operate a coffee maker and not over fill it, you too will get perfect coffee from Kitchen Aid... 5 STARS!!!
