KitchenAid Review Heavy Duty & Very Nonstick
Like the other Kitchenaid nonstick bakeware, this loaf pan is made from very heavy gauge metal and, unlike Ecko and even Wilton, the nonstick coating is thick and durable.

Don't gouge the surface with metal implements, don't overheat the loaf pan (450 F max), and don't use an abrasive nylon pad like a Scotchbrite to clean it. The nonstick surface is so effective that there should be no need for harsh cleaning. Even seriously baked on foods should come off after an hour of soaking in warm water.

    KitchenAid Review Wonderful!
I ordered the Factory-Reconditioned KitchenAid RRKP50 Professional 5 Series 5-Quart Stand Mixer, in White. It looked brand new and I cannot believe I went this long without it. I use it for everything from heavy bread dough to cookie dough. It has held up perfectly since I purchased it 10 months ago. I am very please with KitchenAid products and have since purchased some of their other kitchen products.

KitchenAid Review Couldn't tell it was used
I was a bit nervous about ordering this at first given that it was a gift and i didn't want to give something "used" to my wife for her birthday. She has wanted one of these for a while and couldn't be happier with it if i'd paid $150 more!

KitchenAid Review Exactly what I was hoping for
Like many others, I was skeptical when I saw this mixer. The fact that it was reconditioned scared me a bit, but the price was irritable, so I bought it.

The mixer is exactly what I was hoping for. It looks brand new and works like a dream. I have absolutely no complaints; in fact, I've told at least 10 people about this buy. This work-horse costs less than a puny little Classic at Wal-Mart!

If you're considering buying this, do it. You won't be sorry.

    KitchenAid Review It looks good
Functionally it does what it's designed for.
    Two things:
It needs to be washed right away or it will be hard to do it later
The particles of food get under the steel rim

    KitchenAid Review Awsome strainer
What a wonderful strainer. Kitchenaid has missed the mark on a few of their gadgets lately but this is not one of them. You will like how it sits on top of a pan without falling in if you accidentally bump it. The fine mesh works well for almost every job but the screen can "dent" if you get too aggressive with pressing juices out of mushy items so be warned. Any dents that I've put in the mesh have easily been worked out.

The only caveat that I would add is if you are draining food for a large family this is not large enough and you should use your colander so know how you will use this before you buy.

    KitchenAid Review Flour Sifter Replacement
A friend, who is a chef, recommended using a strainer instead of a traditional flour sifter. This one is large enough to work beautifully and takes up less space than having a strainer and a sifter in your kitchen.

KitchenAid Review Very attractive, better for salads than cooking though
I bought these in the hopes of consolidating all my tong-needs into one attractive package. These make lovely salad and serving tongs. Even though I prefer 18/10 stainless, 18/8 is resaonable for this type of tool.

I had gotten tired of trying to manage tossing and serving large salads with oversized spoons and forks. It works but not all that effectively for me. I also needed tongs for turning things in pans. I had been a fork to stab at cooking meats in order to turn it which just allows the juices to flow out. In a pinch when I couldn't reach a spatula I would use a fork to try and turn fish as well, for shredded results. Turning scallops, shrimp, grilled veggies...all produced similar issues.

I was hoping to get just one tong and save space. I would have to say that I ultimately did buy a hinged tong becuase this works better as serving utensil than a cooking tool. With no hinge it's a bit hard to manage (stiff maybe to retain its shape). Tossing around spaghetti in a pan of sauce with these is a clumsy proposition. Ditto on some of the other things I tried. This doesn't seem to *close* quite solid and easily enough to make for a good cooking helper.

      But....

It does make a lovely addition to my salad bowl. It does close a good amount to grasp salad. It springs back into shape easily without any malformations. It has cleaned up very well through all the times I have used it.

I bought this for myself but it would probably make a very nice gift with an attractive salad bowl, perhaps something that would go with it in style. The problem I have with it wasn't a problem with the item as much as what I had assumed the item to be. As a serving tong this is a very good item.

KitchenAid Review two out of three ain't bad
You get a very good bowl scraper with a unique shape that works. Also, the rectangular scraper has a small ridge around the perimeter of its otherwise flat profile. This works great for the required intermittent scraping down the bowl of electric mixers (even while it's running). Other tools are two thick or have rounded noses. The spoonula with the set is short and being multi-material becomes a cleaning issue.
