THis spoon is beautiful & compliments all the other red KA stuff I own. I was surprised a bit by how large it was, and how heavy it was. But it really is high quality and performs well. I guess I'm used to the cheaper nylon cooking utensils I've owned. Overall, I'm glad I bought it, and it was worth the $$. It just seems a little bulky to store. Wish KA would come up with some kind of rack for these things to go on.

The silicone spoons, spatulas, and bowl scrapers are the best. Quality all the way. I highly recommend these as they will last a long time.

We received the KitchenAid Ice Cream Freezer Attachment for Christmas. Placed it in the freezer and kind of forgot about it. When we finally used it, it was wonderful, and we have continued to use it every day since. We use 1% milk, add a favoite fruit, a little Splenda, and a little Davinci sugar-free syrup. Makes a delicious low fat,tasty dessert. One suggestion...be sure to START THE PADDLE BEFORE adding the mixture. If you don't, it will freeze to the bowl and you will have a heck of a time getting it started.

I just received this thermometer, and felt I just had to write a review. It's Huge! I mean really Huge! I think it may topple over in a smaller cut of meat. On the plus side, it does seem to be very well made and sturdy, something I never thought I would say about a meat thermometer. My husband likes it.

this thermometer looks very professional, and it's face is very readable and helpful, and it cleans off very easily. However, the probe is quite long, and it will not register an accurate temperature unless you sink the entire probe into your meat. This is very hard to do with smaller cuts, due to the size of this beast. I overcooked a small pork roast AND a roasting chicken before realizing the problem.

I must have a smaller version of this meat thermometer because mine isn't quite the size of this one mentioned. So, those of you scared to try this larger one, look for the smaller one in your local store. That said, this is a great thermometer. It reads very, very quickly, is heavy enough but not too much so that it cannot stand in the meat. My only complaint is that the face can fog up while beng read occasionally, but other than that, this thing has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen and I highly, highly recommend it.
