KitchenAid Review Pretty and Functional
I bought this tea kettle to add to my collection of pink KitchenAid appliances, but it turned out to be a really great purchase. The tea kettle is pretty in stainless steel and has only a touch of pink on the silicone handle. It has a loud noticeable whistle that lets you know when your water is ready and is easy to use and handle. I've read the other reviews that state that the pot gets overly hot, but that only happens if you use a grill size that is too large for the kettle. If you read the directions before use, it specifically says to use a burner compatible with the size of the kettle, this easily solves that problem. The spout is large and the kettle is easy to fill, whether throught the lid or the spout. Again, this is a KitchenAid product and has great waranty coverage and excellent customer service. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested.

KitchenAid Review High quality, good design, excellent performance
I am very pleased with my purchase. The kettle has a solid feel and looks very attractive in my kitchen. It heats quickly and when pouring, the steam does not rise up and hit my hand. The color is perfect and spatters clean off the finish easily. The cover fits securely. The water tastes fresh and clean, unlike another metal kettle I purchased some time ago which imparted an unpleasant taste to the water. All in all, I'm very happy with it. I would recommend this item to anyone who wishes to purchase it. Thanks Kitchenaid for a quality product.

KitchenAid Review Kettle performs perfectly!
I have no idea what some other reviewers are complaining about. The handle does not get hot when I use high heat on my gas stove. It does not leak steam from lid at high heat. It does not dribble when I pour boiling water into mug. It is easy to fill either using spout or taking off lid. I am only writing this review to offset the other reviews which are unfairly negative. Well. you can't please everyone. The terra cotta color is beautiful, the kettle is very well made, and it performs as a tea kettle is expected to perform. I really like it.

KitchenAid Review Head wobbles on mixer
I bought this KitchenAid to replace one that I had only had for about 5 years and it was my second one. The first one I got was 27 years ago and it's still running great. When I first got the 2nd one, I noticed that the main head of the machine wobbled back and forth everytime I used it. I had my husband tighten it a few times, but that only helped for a short time. When it finally quit working, he took it apart and the oil had leaked inside it and formed as a big mass of jel - thick coagulated oil & grease. Anyway, the head on my new mixer wobbles just like on the other one and that worries me. Will I have the same problem in another 4 or 5 years? I know things don't last forever, but one reason I have loved KitchenAid is because I have known them to last a long, long time... certainly more than 5 years. Do the heads wobble on ALL the new models?

KitchenAid Review Kitchen Aid Ultra Power Mixer-300Watt KSM90
This is the third mixed I have purchased from Amazon. All have been Kitchen Aid KSM90 Mixers. I have purchased two white and one red. There is no way that you can purchased a better mixer for the money. Why buy 3? I bought the first for my wife approx. 2 years ago then several months later I purchased one for my oldest daughter as a gift, then in Jan 2006 I purchased another one for my youngest daughter as a gift. The last one is used in baking cakes, etc. for resale. All machines preform very well with no trouble. Thanks for a splendid machine. I highly recommend the KSM90 300Watt mixer over all the rest.

KitchenAid Review AWESOME
Why didn't I get this before? I do not know.
This is must have for cooking and baking.

KitchenAid Review Different from other knives
This is a very well designed knife. The weight, size, and width of the blade all seem to work in concert. If I have one complaint it would be its sharpness. I think I expected something miraculously sharp.
Another benefit of the design is its stability, which makes it feel safe.

KitchenAid Review Great out of the box
Previous comment about not being sharp did not apply here. I sliced a dead-ripe tomato paper-thin slices without even using my steel.

And the knife has nice balance. As a long term Chef's knife user, this one balances better and I've owned a nice, forged set of knives for years.

KitchenAid Review Excellent all around knife
I dont know what "Gift Card Recipient' was talking about. I just bought mine, put a fresh edge on it and just cut an onion into paper thin slices, with no tears even. This knife is very well balanced with no feeling of awkwardness like so many of those cheap knives have. Definately a good buy.

KitchenAid Review These tongs are nice...
Constructed of one piece of nylon bent into an open shape. The design prevents one half of the tong from eventually not meeting up with its counterpart (twisting or racking), or falling apart from frequen use (like metal tongs made of 2 tongs and a spring).

These are easy to clean, whether by hand or in the dishwasher. Metal tongs always seem to attract "crusty" things at the spring/joint. These do not.

Because of the simple design, kids don't get their small fingers caught on bent metal edges.

KitchenAid Review Excellant Choice
I LOVE THE KITCHENAID NYLON TONGS. THEY ARE GREAT, THEY ARE VERY STURDY, WELL MADE. I USE THEM EVERY DAY. A GOOD PRODUCT, AND A GREAT PRICE.

KitchenAid Review Grat tongs!
These give very nice and supportive grip
much better than some weak things out there
I love it and my husband loves it too!

KitchenAid Review Does not fit the Professional 5 qt. series
The professional 5 qt. series has a wider bowl than the regular 5 quart. I was given no info. that it would not fit this model. I was dissapointed as I feel this attachment would be helpful

KitchenAid Review Useful, depending on what you use your mixer for...
The shield does come in handy, but only sometimes. I don't use it everytime I use my mixer. For a lot of things it is useless. But it works perfectly for gradually adding dry ingrediants. It is great for gradually adding flour to make a dough.
The shield is also GREAT for when kids want to help mix ingrediants, keeps little fingers far from danger.
The shield splits in two parts, which tend to fall apart easily. It was done this way, so you can lift up half of the shield and scrape around the edges of the bowl, without having to completely remove it. It is a great idea, but it makes the shield very flimsy, and falls apart easily.
It is not a must-have for your mixer, but if you makes lots of doughs etc, it is well worth the $15.

KitchenAid Review contains splatters!
This pouring shield works great to contain splatters. In parrticular, I appreciate having it for whipping cream or large batches of batter. It is also helpful to add ingredients using the 'pouring section' of the shield when the mixer is on or when the bowl is in the 'up' position.

KitchenAid Review Don't waste your money
Even if you already own the food grinder don't waste your money on the pasta attachment. Since this is more of an extrusion pasta maker, the pasta does not get the nice thin texture that is necessary in fresh pasta. I made lasagna noodles from this attachment and had to roll out every noodle by hand after it had been extruded because it wasn't thin enough.

If you love fresh pasta, as I do, you would be better off buying the actual stainless steel, traditional pasta roller attachment for your kitchen aid. It is more expensive, but well worth the extra money. I use this attachment all the time and always get the results that I am looking for. When my husband purchased the pasta attachment it came as a set with the food grinder. The food grinder is awesome.

KitchenAid Review Nice Product, So-So Usability
This attachment is easy to use and, more importantly for homemade pasta lovers, it is easy to clean. It's made of durable plastic resin and and comes with a space-saving storage design. The biggest drawback is that it comes with pretty boring plates: Two types of spaghetti, macaroni, lasagna, and egg noodle. Would have been far cooler if they had included plates for a large gauge rigatoni and a fusilli.

KitchenAid Review Pasta plates
We received our pasta plates in a timely manner. Although there was one plate missing from the package, a telephone call to a representative of the company brought the plate to us immediately. The whole process of ordering was quite pleasant.

KitchenAid Review simple things make a difference
Having the pass-through grip revolutionizes this tool. Seems so obvious and simple a fix in retrospect.

KitchenAid Review Great little tool
I give it 5 stars for scraping but if I needed the numbers printed on the blade, well, they wore off. I don't know whether I accidentally scrubbed them off or the dishwasher suds were too rough. It doesn't matter to us because we don't use the numbers, but if you do, be a little more gentle cleaning it.

KitchenAid Review Top of the line
I've had 3 scrapers and I can honestly say this is the BEST of them. I crushes from vegetables to dough so easily. The handle allows a very firm grip. Not heavy or too big. It wonderful and I reccommend it without a doubt.

KitchenAid Review Good quality
Very well constructed.Does it's job protecting my mixer from kitchen grime. My only complaint is the lack of color selection.

KitchenAid Review Functional
Some folks complain that this cover is too big, but it really has to be a little big. It serves the purpose well.

KitchenAid Review For what it is, it will serve its purpose
This cover, like all Kitchenaid products, is very well made. The material is very heavy and durable. It's not the prettiest thing I've ever seen, but it does keep the dust and junk out of my mixer. I have the smallest mixer and this cover fits pretty good. It might fit the next size up as well, but not any larger I wouldn't think.

KitchenAid Review The King of the BBQ brushes
Having been an avid barbeque cook for more than a decade, I have used many barbeque brushes of varying design and this is by far the best in terms of utility, durability and aesthetics.

The primary advantage to this model is the angled brush head that is easily replaceable (replacement heads can be had for about $7 online). The angled head is critical, because it allows for much more efficient grill cleaning without scraped or singed knuckles.

Be warned that this brush is quite hefty, with a solid metal handle that appears to be very robust. The grip portion is comfortable, and the overall look is quite attractive.

If you are sick of cut-rate straight-handled wood or plastic BBQ brushes, you owe it to yourself to investigate this model. It is far and away the best of breed in this catagory, and doesn't cost a fortune.

KitchenAid Review Kitchen Aid Food Chopper
I bought this to replace my current chopper becuase I liked the shape of the bowl more so than what I had. But, I must say that this product does not meet my expectations. I thought the shape of the bowl would improve the end product (whipped garlic sauce) but in fact it made little difference.
Nonetheless, it works fine; just no better than others such as my prior which is a cuisinart.

KitchenAid Review Nice chopper
This cute chopper is a big help to me. It makes fast and fine chopping-up and saves a lot of time for me. It's a little bit small and contains only "pulse chopping" control. However, I found it easy and convenient to use, and is sufficient for single or couple family use.

KitchenAid Review The Best
This chopper really will chop tomatoes, cilentro, peppers, etc., without making them mushy. I have a very expensive food processor and never use it. I keep this one on my counter because I use it so much. Best buy I've made in a long, long time.
