After a mere week of use, our new set of silicon spatulas is already indispensable. They are not only very smart-looking, and modestly priced, but they handle beautifully and stand up to as much heat as you've got. They're just perfect for use with my Creuset pots, and do their duty in keeping the enamel smooth and unmarred.
Highly recommended.

I have been looking for years for a spatula that wouldn't melt or lose it firmness when used in a hot pot or skillet. Here it is at last

my husband bought these to replace our other plastic spatulas that have melted over med-high heat. these silicone ones are superb for stir-fries, sauces, scrambled egg anything that requires constant stiring. I'm amazed that the ends haven't showed signs of even the slightest melting!
Other good points are:ease of cleaning, sticky food doesn't seem to cling or bake on, and:the bold colour is great for locating amongst the thousand other gadgets in the drawer.
will purchase more of this silicone Kitchenaid when on sale (our dollar is quite poor against the US$).

I received this as a gift a few years ago, and it is my favorite. I love to bake, and for years I used my trusty little Kmart hand mixer to turn out prize winning cakes! It really never occurred to me to get a stand mixer since I always had excellent results with it.

A friend asked me what kind of mixer did I have and when I told her she was really surprised that I didn't have a stand mixer since I am known to be an appliance junkie and she knew I baked a lot. She got a good chuckle when I showed her my "weapon" of choice! Once the seed was planted, I started looking at them and my fiance bought one for me.

I absolutely love it because it leaves my hands free to add ingredients, cuts down on mixing time, and all of those wonderful attachments that can be purchased to use with the mixer are a blessing! All of the included attachments are sturdy and obviously made to provide many years of use. I use mine regularly and they still look brand new.

The dough hook that comes with the mixer works just as well as a bread machine for kneading dough and is certainly easier than doing it by hand. I was a little unsure about it at first, but I made the Cinnamon Swirl Rounds from the recipe in the user guide and was really pleased with the results.

The mixer is heavy and unfortunately, I don't have room on my countertop to store it so I have to pull it off the pantry shelf when I want to use it. That's not really a big deal. I just make sure it's locked so the head doesn't tilt back. I highly recommend this stand mixer. If you are just starting out or getting married, add it to your registry!

10 years ago my hubby tried to help me with my love of cooking and bought me a Sunbeam stand mixer. It was half of the price of this one but we returned it to the store 8 times. I got 8 different Sunbeam stand mixers before I gave up. Each one died the first time I used it. I was only trying to make bread from the recipe book that came with the mixer. Since then, after getting my money back I bought one of these babies and it is still going strong. I use it at least 3-4 times per week. I make a lot of things from scratch due to allergies and my hubby's cholesterol levels. I love my mixer and just really need to convince him how badly I need the pasta attachment! :o)

The cutters on this device are not sharp. The pressure needed to shred food will burn out your mixer.
