The out of box experience is first-rate. Just got the set and I�m very happy. Well constructed with durable materials. Knives are well balanced to the point of feeling lighter. Great shaped metal blade where it connects to the handle, not just a flat piece of metal but wonderfully contoured. Every knife you could need and a few more items (sharpener, fork and cleaver). The eight steak knives and scissors are not as high quality as everything else, but their no embarrassment either. Great set very impressed.

Imagine my disappointment when these knives arrived and were light weight and poorly balanced.

Imagine my outrage when I was charged a $16.00 restocking fee in addition to a $7.11 postage fee!!

I have reread all of the return policy information, which is, A LOT, and no where is there any mention of a restocking fee.

Amazon seems to be losing it if they are going to screw people over when they send over priced and inferior merchandise!

I was thrilled to get these knives on sale. They are lovely and even have their own case. Once I figured out that the groves within the case were at an angle to keep them in place I was quite pleased. I wish that they were straight edged, but it's a small complaint considering that these are nice quality steak knives.

These knives are a wonderful touch to setting an elegant place at the table. No rough looking giant steak knives here. These knives cut through steaks of various size and texture with ease. Even used in a casual setting these knives fit in. Very tasteful as well as useful.

I have had these knives for a few months now. I personally really love it. I don't use it that regularly though, since we do not cook too often at our house, so I'm not sure if it's the right set for people who always cook at home or not. I love them. They are so sharp and they're super cute!

These are the best knifes i have ever owned. I did not realize how bad my current knifes were until i recieved these. Even the bread knife is sharp. I use these everyday(vegetable knife mostly) and they are holding up pretty well.

i own a full set of wusthof knives, plus the furi santoku knife. one year ago i bought a full set of the komachi, and now i mainly use those. they are outstanding and fun to look at!!!!

As other have mentioned, the silverware basket hangs outside of the space protected by the tray underneath. This isn't a problem for me, but others might be bothered by it.

Otherwise, this is a great dish rack. It looks very good and is more functional than any other dish rack I've had, with more usable space, more effectively arranged. I've found that I can hang the silverware rack on the end, rather than on the back, so there's flexibility as well.

I'd recommend it to anyone. In fact, I've had family visit, look at it, admire its looks and its functionality, and say that they're considering buying one for themselves.

I'd give it 4 1/2 stars. Since I can't, I'm rounding up because the negatives are very insignificant, while the positives are fantastic.

The Lipper Beechwood Expandable Flatware/Cutlery Tray was a great addition to my kitchen. I had a silverware draw that I was having difficulties organizing. The Lipper Beechwood Expandable Flatware/Cutlery Tray allowed me to organize my silverware draw and keep it that way. I am very happy with it since I have tried several other items and they worked for a short time but not for the long run.

I purchased this tray for my new kitchen and was very delighted to not only have it fit into the drawer but also for it to be able to hold all the silverware with the proper amount of space allocated for each size. I would defiantly reccomend this for any new or old kitchen

This is another product that had the name brand, but not quality. First, it is not the normal cast iron Le Creuset products. It is made of a thin layer of steel, with some enamel like paint on it. It does not heat up evenly, and food burns and sticks to the bottom. Second moth of using it, the enamel paint start to chip off the bottom. I did not use any abrasive cleaning products, and always used wood or nylon utensils. Contacted the manufacturer about warranty, and never heard back from them.
I bought it for $40 when it was on sale. Definately not worth even that, let alone the normal price.

There are a few things I like about this pot. You can get it in attractive colors to match you Le Creuset cookware. It lighter and easier to lift, and also cheaper than my "good" Le Creuset cast iron cookware. It is good for boiling pasta. It is not good for cooking anything that might stick or scorch! I am not a bad cook, but I keep having things stick in the bottom of this pan, which also wore quickly in spite of using gentle stirring implements. It is simply not a high-performance pan, but for just boiling things in water, it comes in handy, and you don't have to be embarrassed if you leave it sitting out, since it's pretty.

This stock pot is enamel on steel, not cast iron, it was never meant to be. No reason for any confusion. I've had mine for 5 years, there are no chips or scratches. No matter what I've made; spaghetti sauce, posole or any kind of soup. Nothing has ever burned, nor has the enamel come away from the pot. Turn the heat down, I always get perfect results.
LeCreuset comes with a great guarantee in regards to workmanship and defects. Shame on anyone who purchases cookware in this day and age and doesn't follow up with the manufacturer when there is an issue such as some I've read above.

This is my first JA Henckels knife...it's incredibly sharp and I love the feel of it in my hand, the fit is great. One caution - be careful if you are used to knives that are not this sharp....I have a nice scar from my initial use! Definitely will add some other knives from this collection to my own.

A BARGAIN!!! Why is this blade so much cheaper than others when it is equal in quality and superior in grip? Buy this one and you won't be disappointed.
I've used this model and I sell a lot of these to other chefs and cooks...I love it, they love it...'nuf said.

Purchased this knife to complete my knife collection. I'm not a serious (or even a great) cook but I love Henckels Four Star knives and have used them for over 20 years. This knife (as well as the others in the Four Star Collection) is well balanced and very sharp. It makes me want to take cooking lessons so my meager skills can match the knife's potential. My efforts in the kitchen may not taste gourmet but I feel like a chef with this knife in my hand. Marian
