I purchased this thermos three months ago as a solution to my coffee-stain problem.

As a teacher, I have very little time during the day to run to the "faculty lounge" to replenish my morning coffee or to catch an after-lunch pick-me-up. So, over the years, I developed the habit of driving to work with three full insulated coffee cups (with lids): two I placed in my car's cup-holders, the third I held in my hand as I drove. Not very smart. Invariably, I ended up wearing some of my coffee.

But those days are over.

This Nissan thermos solved my coffee-stain problem. But it did even more. It solved another problem I never knew I had.

I had become so accustomed to the lukewarm and cold coffee that my "three go-cup method" yielded that I had forgotten how good a hot cup of coffee is in the late morning or early afternoon. I no longer have that problem. This Nissan thermos keeps my coffee piping hot throughout the day and into the night.

It is durable. Tall and thin, it fits easily in a backpack or briefcase. The vacuum insulation keeps the coffee inside the thermos (preventing further coffee-stains!). It also cleans easily. I wash it by hand nightly, using an elongated bottle-brush with soft bristles to clean the interior.

Purchasing this thermos was a wise investment for me. I happily recommend it to those who are tired of coffee-stains on their clothes and old, cold coffee in their cups.

I've been trying to find a thermos to meet my needs for quite a long time! This one is THE BEST, and well worth the money! I make my coffee in the morning, then add it to my thermos.....HOURS later it is STILL nice and hot! This keeps it fresh and waiting! I can't stand the taste of coffee after it's been made and left sitting on the coffee pot burner for an hour or so...This thermos is by far the best I've had so far! Spend a little extra to get the best! You always get what you pay for :)

The Nissan Thermos FBB1000 is a sleek brushed stainless steel thermos with vacuum-sealed insulation and 875 mL storage capacity. The thermos exceeded my expectations on capacity to retain temperature of contents for extended periods of time.

After placing all 3 components in the freezer (-5 Celcius) for 10 minutes, I filled the thermos with 7 1-inch cylindrical ice cubes and immediately capped the thermos. It was placed in direct sunlight with daytime temperatures around 28 Celcius and nightime lows around 12 Celcius. After 48 hours, gentle shaking sounded like the contents remained frozen in ice. By day five, it remained mostly ice. Not until day 6.5 were the original ice cube contents in the thermos completely melted.

While I haven't measured temperatures of hot liquids, the FBB1000 was able to retain the temperature of hot coffee for at least 12 hours.

My rating of five stars for the Nissan Thermos FBB1000 is primarily based on:

I have been using FoodSaver products for several years now. I started with the pre made bags so was unsure about the rolls. I finally found the rolls are less expensive and you can roll out any size you need for your food without having to find the premade size bags to fit your items. I bought a new machine that holds those bags and allows you to pull them out, cut them and seal them all in one. I don't know how I ever lived without this product. I have saved more money by buying bulk and packaging up my foods for later. It saves me many trips to town and I am guaranteed my food is fresh when I use them months later.
The two roll box comes in handy when you have a bigger job than expected. I buy a two roll box about every two weeks so I have some on hand for unexpected gifts people bring us like fresh fish,pecans,deer meat,shrimp from the coast. Without our FoodSaver we wouldn't be able to keep our food fresh from one meal to the next! "No one should be without a FoodSaver"

The continuous roll is wonderful you can make the bag so it will fit anything...food items, storage items and personal items. This product can also be washed and reused for extended life.

These bags are durable and work everytime. I like the size which seems hard to find locally.

The 8x11.5" quart bags are more convenient to use, but I figured the 8" x 22' rolls would be more cost-effective. As it turns out, the rolls (at $18.69 for 44 bags' worth - assuming a foot per use) are slightly more expensive than the bags (at $18 for 48), so you might as well get the bags. As for being able to use more or less as needed, I've found that I can re-seal or re-use the bags, thus leaving me an assortment of available sizes when I've used their previous contents. It is occasionally useful to have larger sizes, so I would recommend purchasing the bags in the quart size & the rolls in the larger 11" x 18' to give a wide range of useful applications.

The basic concept appears sound. Smaller foods need smaller width bags. However, in practice we rarely use the 8 inch width. There are a few things that fit better in the 8 inch width, but considering that almost everything that we routinely use in the kitchen will fit in the 11 inch width, we tend to use that width most of the time.

There is also discussion regarding bags versus rolls. I have used the bags and they are fine. The one advantage the rolls have is that you can custom fit them to things that will not fit into the bags. In some cases, the bags we have are too big, and then we either waste space in a smaller bag, or go back to the roll again.

Though we have a small supply of bags, I suspect that once the bags run out we will probably stick with the rolls, and we will probably stay with the 11 inch width. Choice is such a great thing!

Also consider the canisters that are available to go with any FoodSaver that has an accessory port.

Considering how much these are in the store, I was thrilled to get such a great price at Amazon!

The LEDS are very bright and otherwise an excellent flashlight. Upon receipt of the flashlight, I noticed the on/off button was very sticky. After approximately six uses the button stuck in the ON position and will not release. I have to remove and re-insert the batteries to use it now.

Costco stopped selling this light. 7 leds then there was six led working. then there five with one led blinking. light started going bad after three months. worker also had same problems. led lamp cost twenty dollars plus shipping from factory. but streamlight honor its` "no cost" repair parts replacement lifetime.second replacement is working 100%. the streamlight Luxeon propolymer same as this light but ONE watt of LED output. shines over half a city block like super spotlight. B E S T light to own the LUXEON steeamlight Propoly 4AA. four hours of full power light output. Using as personal back-up light for FIRE and LAW ENFORCEMENT Yellow color for FIRE and the black color body for LAW> Hard plastic len housing not soft ribber sleeve cover like on this light. better without easy to cut rubber cover. the two diffeert len housings are not inerchangherable.

this flashlight works as I expected, I was bought an streamlight 3N a couple of years ago, it still working with the same batteries, for that reason I bought the Streamlight 68202. The only issue that I have with my 3N is that some times the light go down so I had to hit(not strongly)to recover, it happened to my old maglite too, It looks like the spring should be expanded after a year to fix the issue.
Besides that, the flashlight works excellent.

Sharp blades and usable tools except for the parcel hook which I could live without. Would like knife better in slightly smaller size. Three and a half inch length fairly bulky.

The Ranger is with one exception, the same exact knife model that has been sent up for 20 years on Space shuttle missions as NASA issue. That difference is it has a corkscrew, replacing the phillips screwdriver in the same location on the knife, all other things are the same. They called the model with the phillips "Master Craftsman" and is no longer made.
The Ranger will handle a lot of different tasks with its tool set. It is even equipped to saw through metal, and wood. A truly
versatile knife worthy of the MacGiver in you life, or yourself.
And a good balance between size/weight/abilities.Its alot in one small package.

I have always wanted a Swiss army knife because I used to watch MacGuyver on tv as a kid. Just looking at this marvel of a tool shows you that you could practically do anything with it. I have to say when I first opened the box and looked at this Swiss army knife,it looked to nice to even to use. This Swiss army knife also smells like a serious tool. Fresh out of the box this Swiss army knife reminds me of a freshly cleaned and oiled firearm. I love this Swiss army knife. This is a very high quality made tool. I am sure this Swiss army knife will come in handy many times in the future.

I can't say enough about this coffee mug. I have used it everyday for 6 months now, and I haven't had it leak once. I often sip my coffee all day and love how it is still hot at 4 PM!

Keeps hot stuff hot, cold stuff cold. Simple - this product does what it is supposed to. Thank you!! My coffee stays hot until I finish it, thank you!! The other hot and humid day here in NY, I made iced coffee in this tumbler. Used ice cubes and did not put the top on the tumbler. The iced coffee was made at 1 pm... it was still cold with ice cubes unmelted at 8 pm. Thank you!! HIGHLY recommend to all travelers and lovers of hot stuff hot, and cold stuff cold :-)

I looked for a while at different knife sharpeners. Most of them are too bulky and I did not have space to store them. And they were too expensive. This little one is compact and does the job very well. It took me about 15 minutes to sharpen all my knives - under a minute for each knife. Instructions are clear and easy to follow.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received the case in the mail -- it is nice looking and compact. It's great for carrying the DVD player around not just in the car.
Pro's:
1. Looks nice.
2. Storage for a couple of CD's and power cords/head phones.
3. Has a useful power-out hole, and a headphone splitter for two headphones.
Cons:
1. Our little girl is in a gigantic car seat -- lifting her up so she could kick the player with her feet where it hung of the back of my chair (see user pictures.)
2. It probably needed to be messed with more, but it wasn't the easiest thing to get the case to hang right and also hold the DVD player in it. The screen bent forward, or the whole thing listed awkwardly to the side -- but it did work! Do a trial run before you need to use it!
3. Once the case is attached to your seat back, you can't easily get into the storage pocket for anything you might have foolishly left in it.
4. You can't zip it up completely and leave it in place on the back of your seat. If you want it to be inconspicuous, you'll have to take it off!
5. When you take it off the straps come off as well -- and then getting it back on just right is a pain all over again.

With more practice I'm sure it'd get easier though, and that's why it still gets 4 stars.

Convenient, and perfect for the kids. When on long drives, no one fights over who's holding the player in the wrong direction. Love , and loving it.

I am a college student and these fans are cheap and at Target, so most of my friends have at least one. The downside is, they are horrible, cheaply made, and downright dangerous. The base is too small for the fan, making it extremely top heavy. As a result, if the fan is on an uneven surface or ledge, like a windowsill, any jolt sends it toppling to the floor, or your head, really whatever is underneath. Moreover, it is loud, blows at very limited angles, and really doesn't move that much air. Even the cord is short.

Seriously, don't buy this fan.

This little thing is great if you want a high powered fan that takes up a little bit of space. It's cute, powerful, and well worth the $10 that I paid! The only thing is that it is a tad loud, but don't let that stop you from buying!

For ten bucks, I can't imagine anyone finding a better fan. It is loud at highest setting. At its lowest setting, it's still pretty effective, and the noise level is reasonable.

I disagree about this fan being unstable. If it sits completely on any surface, it's quite stable. If someone tries to balance it on a window ledge that is only half the width of the fan base, well, duh-- it's going to fall.

The big complaint I have is that it is wall mountable, but only in the horizontal position. Because this fan only pivots up and down (not side to side), it means that the location on the wall must be directly opposite from where you want the fan to blow and you can only aim it from floor to ceiling in that one direction.

If it accommodated a vertical mount, that would turn the fan "sideways" on the wall, which would let you angle it toward any part of the room.
