I think it is great fun to look at, but I have found it to be a bit more flimsey than I thought it would be. When I ordered the stainless steel model, I assumed it would be quite sturdy...not so much. Regardless, I use it daily. I hope it will hold up to long term use.

I owned this dispenser for close to a year, and love it. The cereal is always fresh and accessible and I do not have to keep the boxes or reach out to grab few nuts for a quick snack. Great design.

I had been looking for a dispenser for a while for my mounting cereal shelf in the kitchen. I have a mostly stainless steel kitchen and I didn't want the piling cereal boxes to be exposd anymore, I was really looking for a more uniformed look. I researched my options and the price I found on Amazon was really the best. I knew I wanted multiple dispensers, but oddly enough it was more cost effective to buy multiple single dispensers than a couple of the double ones that are available. No matter, I purchased 5 and they are lined up beautifully on my stainless steel shelving unit. They are easily put together, cleaned and used my my five children. They look cohesive and pretty when they are filled with colorful cereal. Nonethess, the children ranging in ages from 2-11 find them accessible and use them often. They come with a small plastic covering that is right at the opening that helps in keeping the cereal fresh. I was worried about the larger cereal coming out, but the turner that pushes the contents out are thick and durable. I have had no trouble whatsoever. I would think that these are much more durable than the plastic alternatives. If you have the opportunity I would think that these are the better choice. I really have nothing negative to say about the dispenser. I would highly recommend it.

This knife is very practical and beautiful too. The knives work well and stay fairly sharp. The screwdrivers are obviously limited to one bit size so they have limited applications. However, the small flathead screwdriver is the perfect size for eyeglasses, as long as you don't lose it. I actually have the blue one which I think looks even better than the one shown, though I don't know how you order it through Amazon. It is a great knife as you would expect from Victorianox.

First, before you buy price compare. I just picked them up for significantly less.

I bought one initially just for the temperature and humidity measurement not expecting the air quality portion of the device to be worth a darn. I was a little surprised by how sensitive the device was. I use the Clorox wipes to clean up some surfaces. When I got one wipe within 4 feet of the device the monitor immediately raised to unhealthy and an alarm sounded to indicate that I should open a window. I thought this was a fluke and moved the monitor to my kitchen where I use a gas range top. Within 30 seconds of starting something on the stove the monitor was rising.

While I cannot say how sensitive the meter is, it is definitely reacting to things that happen in my home. It has made me aware of the necessity to open windows and air out my house (always a good thing). Not to mention I always know if the humidity is the healthy range and whether the heating and cooling system is keeping up with the outside temperature.

Okay - there's something wrong with Brita filters. They don't always fit into the pitchers - when I tilt the pitcher I can hear the filter shifting inside - and yes, I am aligning it properly. It may filter out impurities contained in the tap water, but only to replace them with thick black carbon particles. I've followed all the instructions and replace the filters every second month, but darned if there isn't a problem with every single one! Don't buy this - look for another alternative!

Since the Brita Slim Pitcher is only $7.99 and includes a filter, you're better off just buying another pitcher.

I ordered two of these fans in red unfortunate for me that they are junk,they are both being sent back to amazon the main problem is that the head of the fan unit doesnt securely attach to the stand & there is an issue with the grill that it doesnt fit together i think overall its has design issues. Also its not completely metal it has cheap plastic fittings that will definetly crack over time with use and dismantling for cleaning, its not a true red color its more of a rusty red or cinnamon color which was also dissapointing since i wanted fire engine red which it looks like in the picture posted here on amazon.
i wondered if the holmes company actually tested the design before putting it on the market, i could hardly believe they did since its so poorly constructed. I also used my $25. off coupon with purchase of $125. in housewares and now i believe im out of that discount for May and even if amazon would allow me to use the promotion again to reorder 2 new fans im sure id have to spend another $125. which i think is unfair.
well overall shopping on amazon has always been a good experience with quality goods and fair pricing and discounts except for this one time not bad considering i make many purchases here. and they do have a good return policy.

I liked the LOOK of this fan, but unfortunately it has to go back. You get to the end of the assembly and then you find that the front grill cover won't attach to the back. After struggling with the cheap plastic rim that is supposed to lock onto the back grill for about 30 minutes I gave up! Even if there's a chance you might get it to fit, good luck next time if you need to clean it or if the grill bends just the slightest bit you'll likely never get it re-attached. Did Holmes test this design? It's NOT functional and it flat-out doesn't work!

This product fit a desired need for fishing excursions and was exactly what was wanted.
