Back to buy more of these great coolers!!This cooler is perfect. Just to experiment, I placed an unopened ice cold can of beer in the Thermos cooler and left it on the kitchen cabinet @ 9 AM. When I returned 3 hours later, it was still basically cold. At 4PM that afternoon it was still a little cool. I imagine if the can would have been opened it would cool down faster, but this is perfect for the summer and sure beats styrofoam coolers. It keeps an opened drink ice cold for quite some time - for a long time if you cool the Thermos in the fridge or frezzer too. I came back to purchase a few more for gifts.
exceeded my high expectationsI ordered two of this product having used many Nissan products in the past, I can hardly live without my trusty coffee mug I have from them! In terms of what makes this product great there are many things. First of all due to their pattented heat insulating methods it keeps your cold can of soda cold the whole time you drink it, but almost more importantly it keeps your hand warm as well! Also because it has 2 thin stainless steel layers it is hardly larger than the can either, which fits like a glove! I was facinated by how well it fit the first time I used it. Also it doubles as an excellent coffee mug especially for those pod coffee machines at the office and such as it's 10 oz size is appropriate for. It pulls double duty for me while I am there both my coffee mug and can coozy. In any case I'm ordering two more of these, everyone who has seen them want's to use them too!
This thing works like a charm I bought this can insulator expecting to find a high quality product from Nissan, and I was not disappointed. This does everything it claims and keeps your beverages warm or cold for many hours. I keep it in my car all the time and during these cold nights, it solved an annoying problem that I hadn't even thought about.
When I leave sodas in my car overnight(I have a convertible) in the parking lot at work, on these cold winter nights the liquid in the can always freezes. So when I go to get a drink during a break, it's annoying to find it frozen. With my new can insulator, the coke stays cold but never freezes over. So no more annoying lump of frozen sodas in my car! This thing works great for coffee too and I love the design of the sipping holes. I haven't had a spill yet because of the thoughtfulness of this design. The stainless steel is also a breeze to clean. I can't really think of any negatives but I think that it would be even better if the lid could screw on with a can of coke inside.

Great combo tool for any real geek!I normally carry a pocket knife and a USB flas drive this allows me to only carry one item. It has scissors, a knife blade, standard screw driver blade, a pen, and a led light. This is a very handy tool. You may even remove the USB flash drive to take on a flight.
What a great "man" gift!I got this as a gift for my husband and he loves it! and I think with the new flight regulations it is ok to take on a plane (blade is less than 3"). The memory stick works perfectly and so do all the other tools on the knife. Could be a little cheaper, but not bad at all.
Best USB device I've ever owned! This usb device was given to me, and I am thouroughly impressed. I probably would have never purchased it on my own, figuring that a Swiss Army USB drive would be inferior to other well established companies.
I have the 512 mb version, and it's replacing my PNY Attache 512mb stick. I did a little test to compare the transfer rate. My PNY stick transfered at 1.5 mb a sec. The Swiss transfered at 8 mb a sec!
My PNY has a cap that i'm always losing, the Swiss doesn't, and my swiss has a knife and pen and stuff. The coolest part is the Swiss comes with software to partition you USB drive! Or you can set it to only work with a password!
The price is steep, but I didn't buy it! Hands down the best USB drive I've owned.

GREAT VALUEI am very pleased with the Bounty Hunter Fast Track Metal Detector It is very light and easy to set up and use,It is a great value at $84.00 dollars delivered. The VINMan
A great detector for the money!!I picked one of these up several months back and have been very satisfied with its performance.... The coil is waterproof and can be used in shallow water, wet soil or sand which makes this a great beach detector. It's okay and recommended to drag the coil along the ground back and forth SLOWLY for maximum depth. It runs on only 2 9-volt batteries which by using headphones you can really extend the life of. While it doesn't have any visual target windows like more expensive detectors, the two-tone audio speaker is the key to determining what kind of metal you've found. You can literally turn this thing on and go! There's only 2 dials of operation to worry about "all metal" (a 10 o'clock setting is good) and it can be used in concert with the "discrimination" dial (11 o'clock is good here) to eliminate iron and other junk metals. It's simple enough for a child to use and understand.... To save the prospective buyer some trouble, read the manual carefully and practice around your house and yard before taking this into the field --- trust me. This is an ideal first detector for someone who isn't sure they'll like this hobby and don't want to spend lots of money to find out. Bounty Hunter also offers a 5-year limited warranty which shows you that they really stand behind their product. RESEARCH is the key to making good finds though, so don't expect great results without it! Read and learn all you can about your local area's history to improve your odds of success. Metal detecting has something big in common with real estate --- location, location, location is the key!
Metal DetectorFast and good product.

Great knife if you want a dull oneI had high hopes when I bought it. After cutting two onions and a slice of stake, the knife is dull. I am shopping for another one now. It looks like the knife has built in child saftey features.
good valueI purchased this knife because my daughter didn't like using any of my knives; she wanted one like the chefs all use on Food Network. I wasn't willing to pay the high prices of the professional ones so this was a good compromise, and I'm pleased with it. It's nice-looking, feels comfortable to hold, works well for chopping vegetables. Overall, a decent knife at a very reasonable price.
my best tool in the kitchenI use this knife daily and love it. It is light in weight with a shape that fits comfortably in my hand. I have used it almost daily for about 6 weeks and it has remained very sharp. I'm very happy with the value.

Amazon.com Delivers.....Used Coffee MugsIf you're in the market for a used Nissan coffee mug, then step right up and order from Amazon.com!
So you're probably thinking, yes, maybe I would like a used coffee mug. How about a used coffee mug with dried, brown coffee stains still in it...And how about with the fresh aroma of a...what does that smell like, ah, Vanilla Latte I believe it is.
If you're still interested, continue ordering, but be advised as customer service will be unwilling to compensate you for any issues you may have with receiving a dirty mug in the mail. I think Nissan stainless makes a nice product, but I would
suggest ordering from SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

About as "Spill-Resistant" as a Colander...Well, other reviewers have extolled the virtues of this mug---including its supposed spill-resistant top.
I'm here to dispell this myth.
Our old mugs (Starbucks, heh!) were junky, and leaky as hell. We'd put them in our lunchbox, standing straight up, and they'd somehow leak everywhere. So, I was in search of something nice, and Thermos' Nissan line is pretty infamous. The little latch lever mechanism looked ingenious, and several people talked about how it won't spill.
I received my two new mugs a couple of days ago. Put coffee in them, excited that I would no longer have to fear coffee stains on my lunch cooler and car. Boy, was I ever wrong. You might as well not even have the dang stopper mechanism, because if the thing tips over with liquid inside, it comes pouring out. The seal on the plug that stops up the sipping hole is useless; this is mainly because the actual lever mechanism provides very little pressure against the hole when closed. As a result, you have, in essence, a failed product. It should be recalled.
What good is a "travel" mug if the thing leaks everywhere? I might as well take a regular open-top ceramic mug in the car, because it would spill just as much. And no, it's not defective, because I bought two, and both of them leak the same. I'm returning them, and have ordered Nissan's "Leak-Proof" model. We'll see if that lives up to the name.
The only reason it gets two stars is because it does live up to half of my expectations: at least it kept my coffee hot. But what good is hot coffee when it's all over your car seat? I urge you, buy the "leak-proof" model. Stay away from this one, unless you're looking for a "travel" mug that leaks everywhere.

Some Like It HotterAs with many other products on Amazon.com, the "Ultimate" earned pretty much of a bimodal distribution: People seem to basically love or really dislike the "Travel Tumbler." Either the quality control at Nissan is terrible (i.e., people are getting tumblers that differ greatly in quality), or the reviews themselves are just not very reliable. Coffee lovers may be a pretty emotional bunch when it comes to their preferred caffeine delivery method, and some of the complaints seem steeped more in emotion than practicality. I'll try clarifying the bases of my own evaluation, which places the "Ultimate's" performance somewhere between the very good/very bad polarity I see here.
1.LEAKING: Unlike what one person said, it does NOT leak like a "colander." When you squeeze the handle-like mechanism, a small hole at the top of the lid depresses. The problem is that this coffee will drain though the "covered" hole, albeit very slowly: If I lift the cup WITHOUT squeezing the "HANDLE" as if to take a sip, a slow, very small stream of coffee comes out the apparently sealed top. Although the product description above touts that the container is spill-proof, rather than leak-proof, this slight leakage is psychologically annoying given the price and the expected performance. Practically speaking, however, it's not that important: You won't leak or spill a hot beverage if the "tumbler" is basically upright. The rubberized grip surrounding the center provides a comfortable and secure grip.
2.COFFEE NOSE: Other Nissan beverage holders have drinkers complaining that residual liquid on the top of the lid leaves a spot on their noses when they go for their next sip. It's true that a small amount of liquid is left (and this, too, will spill if, for some muckraking reason, you choose to hold the tumbler upside-down to disprove the anti-spill claims of Nissan), but it settles down far enough from where you drink that it leaves your nose alone, which is exactly what it should do.
3.TEMPERATURE: I found that it does NOT keep my beverage very hot for hours. At 45 minutes, my coffee was still very hot, but noticeable cooling occurred after about an hour. You can minimize temperature reduction by pre-warming the tumbler with very, very hot water, and filling it with the hottest possible drink possible. However, even the double steel container doesn't hold in the heat nearly as well as the Nissan thermos. This is probably the biggest disappointment, although a fairly negligible one personally (my longest drive is generally about an hour). Those who insist on very hot coffee for periods of one hour or more, however, may be disappointed.
4.CLEANING: Yes, there is a small white ring around the top of the container for insulation. I have not had any problem with accumulated debris, odors, or with other nasty things that reviewers have described. Simply cleaning it after each use should do the trick; I'll update this review if I find the tumbler particularly resistant to cleaning. However, other Nissan travel mugs either have similar problems or don't have the convenient squeeze handle.
Recommendation: Resistant to leaking and unlikely to spill, the Nissan still fails to meet expectations, especially given the cost. A more important problem, then, is that its heat retention is unsatisfactory for periods much longer than an hour. My recommendation (one that I wish I had heard before) is to wait for more current reviews of the commuter mug rated #1 by the venerable "Wall Street Journal," but not yet available due to current demand: The Zojirushi Tumbler (http: //www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004S57G/qid=1137462602/sr=1-25/ref=sr_1_25/103-7519344-0327817?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=284507). The Nissan 14-Ounce Leak-Proof Insulated Travel Mug, though not without its critics, also looks promising.

Been through 3 of these in a year's timeThis little sweeper works so great in the beginning. My first 2 worked great and then the battery wouldn't hold a charge. After a month each, I couldn't get the sweeper to run for more than a minute before the battery would die, and that was on a full charge. This 3rd and final sweeper motor died after 5 months, I turn it on and I can hear a low wurring sound, but not the roller won't budge and the roller is completely clean.
Decent for small pickupsGood enough for small jobs. My three-year old can operate it with ease. It is not powerful enough to replace a good broom or swiffer. Great for nightly under-the-table sweep-ups but not much else.
Lightweight and EfficientIt is so light that I had my doubts about its cleaning ability, but was surprised how much it picked up. The cleaning unit is slim enough to go under the sofa, etc. The dust container is handy-pull it out and dump the debris. It claims to able to pick up nuts and bolts, but I haven't had to do that ... and hope not to test it on such. It has a rechargeable ni-cad battery that has a 30 minute use time. I recommend this highly over the heavy and cumbersome Rival Dirt Devil Broom Vac. I am very pleased with this purchase.

not reliableOnly shows outside temp whenever it feels like it. Remote unit is only 50 feet away and in line of sight, but still dosn't want to work. Outside temp reads 8 to 10 degrees cooler than my other thermometers.Very unhappy with it.
Now my husband can't tell me I'm crazy for being cold!I got one of these to set up in the living room because I was always cold. Now I know why!
The large number display can be seen easily across the room and is very accurate.
We set up the remote monitor outside and it seems to be mostly accurate. During some times of the day it reads higher than the real temperature because the sun is blaring right onto it. We have tried moving it around, but there is always some part of the day that it is always in direct sunlight.
Overall, this product is great. So great infact, that we bought another one!

Indoor -Outdoor cable free ThermometerThis is a great trouble free product. I'm thinking of buying a another one so I can monitor the temps in two locations on our property (sun and shade). It has the capability of monitoring a total of 4 locations (including the one in the home). The one in the house is very accurate and no wires so it can sit on a shelf. I like the Oregon Scientific Cable-Free Thermometer very much. It sure beats the old ones with wires/calbles.
