The mixer is designed to be ergonomic, but I found that it was so heavy that my hand and wrist got sore after only a few minutes. Also, the 5 speeds are fast, faster, really fast, speed of light, and warp speed. In fact, I didn't even test the highest speed because I thought the mixer would take off! The lack of a low or medium speed presented a problem when mixing dry ingredients into wet.

I wouldn't buy this mixer again or recommend it to anyone.

Good mixer, the lowest speed is pretty fast so I find most of the mixing I do is on speeds 1 and 2. Ergonomically pleasing to the hand. A bit hard to rest on the counter top, the small stand area of the mixer takes a few tries to find when putting the mixer down.

I own this mixer and LOVE it. I use it for making very stiff biscotti dough, a task that is beyond all the other more expensive mixers I have now put away in my cupboard! I rarely use my expensive stand mixer anymore, since this works just as well, and requires a lot less cleaning. There are just two drawbacks. It's top-heavy, so be careful when you put it down, since it tips over easily. I have knocked it over numerous times, and it still works fine. The beaters are not very sturdy, so if you plan to use it a lot buy a few extra. I wish I bought this one before I wasted my money on those more expensive hand mixers. No, I don't work for Black & Decker. I just love their mixer.

Mine died after 8 months. The company is now bankrupt so I couldn't even get a replacement from the warranty.

I purchased 2 of these wine cellars and both failed. Amazon was kind enough to refund the full amount I paid for the first one but when the 2nd one failed beyond the "30 Day" return period, I was referred to the manufacturer. Lentek International was basically useless, they want to give me $199 in other merchandise, why you ask? They claim they do not carry the wine cellar any longer. What a surprise! Oh but do a search on Amazon, they still sell this Junk, so does Lentek it's in their catalog and on their web site. My only alternative is to buy merchandise with Lentek, so instead of a wine cellar I get a dozen Epilady hair removal products, 5 wine bottle openers, a Mosquito trap, all great alternatives to a wine cellar. This thing is JUNK, and Amazon is NOT a retailer to do business with.

I purchased 2 of these units for my daughters. One has been returned and the other is about to be returned. Out of the box they run constantly for days and eventually do not operate any longer.

We got two of these. One of them broke almost immediately, and was replaced. It broke again and was replaced. When it broke the third time, I called and was told it's been discontinued and too bad. Now the second one is broken. These are good for only a very short while. I'd suggest buying something else, and I would never knowingly buy anything from this manufacturer again. Ever.

My wife bought the Biagiante thermal fridge for me for Christmas, 2003. But it was very noisey from the beginning and it stopped working altogether on May 20, 2004. I realize it wasn't very expensive, but a five month product life is pretty bad. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Doug

While it was working it was a great product. When the power supply went out I could never get a replacement.
