I was sceptical at first but now that I got these I want ALL MY EQUIPMENT to work on remote! It is fun, practical and time-saving -not to mention cool. And I was looking for a decent brand but found that LaCrosse is better and has a nice " not cheap" plastic feel. It responds 85% to when I press a button. The other 15% is my only issue as it sometimes doesn't respond to turning off when I am a bit far in the room or obstructed by a bedframe etc...

I bought the control to turn on the coffee in the morning - I just push the button when I'm ready to get out of bed and the coffee is done by the time I get downstairs. The only drawback that I have observed is that the receiver encumbers both outlets on a dual receptacle.

Instead of repeating previous reviews, I'd juss like to say that this item does what it's supposed to do. It has good range and the remote is light and small. I ended up buying two.

A small complaint would be that the part that plugs into the outlet is a bit bulky.

Brews a flavorful cup of ground coffee (or makes hot water) quickly and easily. Rating would be a "5" except process and clean-up are a little messy and brewed amount is limited (but that's why it fits in a suitcase!).

I only use the Brisk Brew for heating water while on vacation....I'm a tea drinker. My Ex husband got custody of the first one we bought, so the search was on. When I couldn't find it in the stores I went on line. As soon as I saw the exact same I ordered it. It works great, and travels light!

We used this while traveling overseas - mainly for heating up water. We were able to make tea, hot chocolate, instant soup, oatmeal, etc. It was great!! It's a very compact little machine that makes hot water (or coffee) straight into a little cup that it comes with (which nests on top for storage).

Bought the kettle at target. Lasted 4 months after which the kettle no longer turns off automatically. Judging by other reviews, this appear to be a generic engineering problem. If I have to be next to kettle to turn it off manually, I might as well use a regular kettle.

Having lived in New Zealand for a year, I came back home to the US totally hooked on having an electric kettle. So, I headed over to Target and picked up the Hamilton Beach Kettle. What a ripoff! After a month or so of use, I tossed out the box and figured everything was fine. It wasn't. Literally TWO MONTHS of daily use for afternoon tea and the switch no longer worked. It simply would not turn on at all. DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY on this kettle! Wish I'd read the reviews here first...you bet I will from now on!

I purchase this kettle about 3 months ago, after the first use I took it back as it leaked, overheated and wouldn't shut off then would no long work at all. I loved the design so I exchanged this kettle for the same one as I thought if was just a fluke - WRONG! I've used the replacement for a month about once a day and now it won't shut off or get to a full boil, you can see the light going on and off but the switch never goes up to shut off and it won't fully heat the water. Piece of junk, poor design.

The fan works well as long as you do not use the temperature control feature. The biggest flaw is its design. It does not measure the room's temperature. Scenario: You set it to 65 degrees (lowest setting), it is 75 inside of the room and 60 outside. The fan will not kick in, because it is outside below 65 degrees. Bummer!!! We live at 4000 feet, it gets hot in the daytime, and below 65 at night time. Keeping the fan at permanent blow will make us freeze in the morning. Setting the auto temperature setting will make us cook. I've opened up the machine to see where the sensor is. It has no connection to the inside of the room, and only measures the temperature of the wind it sucks through. Poor design, go buy another brand.

These fans have a ton of features (remote control, reversible air flow switches settable independently for each of the twin fans, temperature sensor, etc.) that have largely worked as advertised, but if you have the misfortune to have a breeze blowing against the air flow, it can reverse the direction of the fans!

This fan is a decent fan, for the price anyways, the first one i got never worked right, and when i sent it back to get another one, the "new" one i got wasnt always that great either. its a deal if the price is right...

Ordered this gift as a Christmas present and being the anal retentive person I am, decided to run inventory on it before wrapping. To my surprise the salt and pepper shakers were not in their holders, and no-where else for that matter. Needless to say not satisfactory. I have e-mailed the company to ask what's up, and until the matter is resolved I will postpone a detailed description of the rest of the kit. So for now a reluctant 1 star. Mike

I love this purchase. Picnic World was quick in responding and provided excellent communication. The back pack itself is a dream. Not overly heavy like many similar packs, and yet provides adequate space for food ... and the detachable wine holder is perfect! Excellent construction. Includes all the essentials that make a picnic perfect: blanket, plates and utensils, wine glasses with other wine essentials, cheese board and knife, the works! The only oddity I noticed is that the mini salt/pepper shakers do not have claoseable lids, so the grains can sift out of the bottles into the pack. This may be a minor annoyance, but given how perfect the rest of the pack is, I can live with a few salt/pepper grains!

If you want to store larger things and you have the foodsaver vacsaver this is the way to go. Cost wise its pretty much the same as the roll but you don't have to mess with cutting and sealing. Cutting it straight can be a real pain at times. Unless your doing something really custom these should be big enough. I got the rolls and the gallon bags and discovered most of the time I ended up cutting the rolls to the size of the bags.

one of the most important features that should be told is how far down the ground a metal detector can detect both coin size and large items. i'm annoyed with this and many other metal detector's descriptions which refuses to mention this more than important point. i'm shopping for my boyfriend and just because of all the annoyance i may just give up and get him a $10 tie for his birthday.

Bought this as an open box. What a great detector for the money. I had it out of the box and up and running in 5 mins. Very easy setup!! Took it to the back yard and found 3 pennies in the first 10 mins (one was a wheat penny). The LCD correctly displayed them as a pennies. As this was my first time detecting, the unit seems very easy to use. An excellent choice for those wanting a feature filled detector at a bargin price.

My Grandfather bought the bounty hunter sharp shooter 2 metal detector for my daughters and my self. They are 5 and 8 and love going to the beach to search for "treasure".
