This is a terrible fryer for just about anything. Without a lid, splatter screen or basket, it makes a mess of both the kitchen and your food.

This fryer is easy to use. You might want to use a splash guard though because when you fry the grease goes everywhere. The strainer lifter that is included is real cheap and discolors easily, best to buy your own. Overall a good product for the price.

Great value for $24.99 and the quick power disconnect is a must have for products in this category.

It does nothing that I can see except leave a pleasant scent. I scrub it in with a firm bristle brush, wait 30 minutes, vacuum with my Dyson, and my carpet still looks the same. It is only 2 years old so it isn't an old carpet. It might work on carpets that are more of a "pile" but not berber. I gave 2 stars just for scent alone.

I purchased the dyson pet and it works amazing wonders on pet hair, but so does the $50.00 version from K-Mart. I'm not really sure what the zorb does besides smelling clean for about 5 minutes!

I love the way this makes our house smell. It also seems to pick the carpet up abit from the walk-down syndrome. However, this only lasts a few days before it is back to looking the same way again.

I bought this set of cookware based on reviews here on Amazon.com by other customers. I am a real amateur when it comes to cooking but I like this set. I am learning that when cooking with these pots and pans you do not need to keep the flame on high! That will make it that much more difficult to clean them afterwards.

Just love this set of pots and pans. I have Wolfgang puck and I truly like these better. I can actualy fry an egg with a teaspoon of margerine and flip it like nonstick. You just have to heat the pan first but use medium heat then heat your margerine until sizzeling and add your egg. To test the pans I even scrambled the egg when I flipped it and it will slide out just like nonstick. I love deep sides on the sauce pans, and the feel of the handels very good if your grip isn't so great. I have fibromylgia and sometimes I can't grip well or lift heavy items. These are just the ticket not flimsy but not to heavy. They clean beautifuly just use alittle bar keepers friend if you get a bad stick, or starch starts to build up. Just remember to turn down the heat when cooking and you will be fine. I also don't use metal utenciles I like the silicone ones.

I got this set after my husband and I decided to get rid of all our non-stick stuff that we got for our wedding six years ago (some people think it's totally toxic and others think it's really ok if you use it right-- we just decided better safe than sorry). After much research we settled on the Farberware Millennium (recommended by Cook's Illustrated and other sources). Amazon is the only place we could find this set. It has the most pieces and the ones you want. We ordered a set from Cooking.com, but returned it when it didn't have a decent size saucepan. I have been using this set for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier. I was a little worried about the cleaning when going to stainless from non-stick, but it's been no problem. Anything that sticks comes off with dishwashing soap, hot water, and baking soda.

I purchased this timer because I wanted an inexpensive timer for my basement. I groom my cats there and need to time some of the grooming products I use on the cats. This timer arrived with the clip broken on the back. It is the part that attaches to you belt or can make the timer stand upright. Amazon let me print out a return label so that I didn't have to pay for return shipping charges and they sent me out a replacement immediately. The replacement was fine. For the price, this timer is pretty good.

This is a great timer for the price, a little bulky though. It's nice to be able to set the timer for seconds, minutes or hours and also be able to count down or upwards. I'll use it as a reminder for appointments while I'm working in the office at home as well as in the kitchen. This will also be handy for soccer practice.

I got this timer at different store and I think it is just great! I like that I can time in minutes for shorter things (like cookies) or in hours for a ham like I did at Easter. I have not seen a timer that switches like that. I read the notes about the clip, but frankly, I just attach it to my refrig and leave it there. The buzzer is loud enough to hear too.

This is a easy to use and I am pleased with this product.

I have been cooking in resturants for many years and I never went a night without this thermometer.
Its quick, accurate, and cheap. If it does go out of whack, just put it in a glass of ice set it for 32d.

Get it you'll love it!!

I am a cook for the US Army, and I have been using Taylor Instant-Read Dial Thermometer's for over 5 years now. It is quick reading, easy to use, and reliable. I would use this thermometer over any of the newer digital ones. Most thermometers as with most things need to be recalibrated. Taylor has supplied a calibration device on the carry case!

On top of all of the great features that the Taylor Analog Thermometer has, its also a bragain. At just $6.99 each you can not beat it!

I would recommend this product to anyone who does any type of cooking. This is ecspecially helpful when cooking Chicken, as you can test all of your piece quickly to make sure that all are done.

To call this unit 'Quietcaire' is simply [...] in my opinion. It is as loud or louder than any air filter I've ever owned. Anyone who thinks it is quiet quite possibly has significant hearing loss and/or a high level of ambient noise in their house. I can hear it three rooms away on the low setting.

Had they not advertized it as quiet, I would have given it more stars (although I probably wouldn't have bought it then). I measured the noise level in the middle of the night with everything in my house turned off. My sound pressure meter jumped from about 20dB to over 54dB when I turned this thing on 'low' at a distance of 1 meter on the side AWAY from the exhaust vent. It exceeds 65dB on high. I chose this model over others based on their claims of quiet operation. Don't buy into it folks. If quiet operation is your main criteria, then look elsewhere. If a noise generator is what you want, then this might be the unit for you. My wife asked me if it was getting ready to take off.

This is a good basic HEPA air filter. We bought it for our son's room. The air smells cleaner. It is a bit louder than I thought it would be on the low setting.

I recently purchased this air purifier from my local Target store and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I have been waking up with terrible headaches and stuffy noses due to allergies (the pollen count has been outrageous where I live due to very little rainfall in the past few months). My doctor recommended that I look into air purifiers and that could easily solve my allergy problems without having to pop pills everyday.
The very FIRST night I used the machine, I noticed waking up without any problems. No stuffy nose...no headache! I leave it on all day in my bedroom on the LOW setting, and I find that the noise is nothing like other reviewers are saying. It really is whisper quiet. Of course, there is a slight hum of the fan, but it is in no way bothersome.
If you are looking for an air purifier that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, look no further. This thing WORKS, it is AFFORDABLE, permanent HEPA filter, and QUIET. All pros in my book!

The fan was great, with lots of breeze and circulation. It is loud, but who cared?
The problem is that it only lasted for about 3 months before it just quit working, along with a little puff of smoke. Two weeks before the fatal puff, the fan arced, popped, sparked, and gave off a puff of smoke, but it still worked. Two weeks after that it sparked and puffed and has not turned on since.
I live in Hawaii and it is currently in the rainy season. There has been a lot of humidity in the air during the last month, and I noticed that the back of the fan was actually getting rusty. I thought perhaps that moisture was the cause of the sparking so I was surprised to read in another review that the fan was good to use during heat and humidity!
The fan was sitting in front of the living room window and it kept the whole small 2 bedroom house cool. We miss it, but I can't keep buying a new fan every 3 months!
This is the first time ever that this has happened with a fan that I purchased. I have been living in Hawaii for 13 years and have been through a lot of fans. One of the best-lasting fans I had was a $10.00 Lasko box fan. It lasted and worked well for 7 years before it quit working.

We had this same fan years ago. We loved it, and it laster for over l0 years. Since then I have been trying to find another one in MD/DC hardware stores, but I hadn't seen one. Finally I found it on the Amazon web site.

I love my new Patton velocity fan! It was easy to order. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

This fan must have two pages, because I know I reviewed it last week; and at the time, it wasn't being offered by Amazon with free shipping. If it had been, I probably would have gotten a second one. I bought one last year from an online hardware store. It is a super powerful fan that works well on super hot, humid days. I've never felt a more powerful fan, except in places that use huge commercial type fans. It is loud, but I like loud fans. And metal fans do work better than plastic ones, in my opinion. I recently got a 14 inch Patton high velocity floor fan with a plastic CVT blade, which is no where near as powerful as this fan. It's designed better, and is safer around children and pets, but even in the highest setting, it seems to me to be less powerful than this Patton on the lowest setting.

This Patton is not as heavy, and the metal not as thick, as fans I have bought in the past like it. But that is not a bad thing; the heavier fans I had always eventually collapsed on their stands, making them unsafe around children and pets. They also only lasted 2-3 years. Hopefully, this one will last longer. Because, believe me, if you live in a a place with HOT summers, you miss these powerful metal floor fans when they die!

Bottom line--if you need fans to survive the summer, and don't mind loud ones: Go with the biggest metal floor fan--with the biggest blades and most powerful motor--that you can afford!

We've had this cart for about 2 years. It was working fine, until the back wheels started to wobble. Once that started the cart lasted 2 trips. The mounting for the back wheels is not superb, and once they go, that's it. Maneuvering it around the grocery store can be a pain as it has some trouble turning, even though the front wheels swivel.

I've never had one of the chrome type carts where none of the wheels swivel, so I'm sure this is easier to maneuver, but don't expect it to handle like a grocery store cart. I'm not sure if those chrome carts are more durable or not, but they look like they might be. Also, it's kind of short, so if you're of 5'9" or taller expect to bend down to push it. One last thing, since the front wheels swivel and the cart is not super stable, it's nearly impossible to push with one hand.

My young adult daughter moved to an apartment and as a gift, I had this "used" cart shipped to her. She has quite a hike from the parking lot to her front door and every time it snowed this past winter, or on rainy days, I receive hugs through the ethers as she thanks me again and again. It's the perfect size for big time grocery shopping for two, or a serious clothes shopping spree!
Now that I'm in a similar situaiton, I am ordering for our home.

This is the best shopping cart that we have ever owned. We have owned one for about 5 years and not only is it great for grocery shopping, but we have also used it many times for moving small heavy objects, such as boxes, books, rugs, etc. it holds so much and is very strong. And to add to it's usefulness, it folds up for storage in an out-of-the-way corner or the car.
