I absolutely love my toastess kettle. The water boils fast, there's an automatic shut-off, and being cordless, I can heat up water and then set it on the table for dinner. We use ours to help boil water faster for pasta, for soups, for tea, and for hot cocoa. I'm planning on getting one for my mother for Mother's Day because it has really taken the stress out of putting the tea water on in the morning and forgetting about it (we're both famous for this). I probably would have burned the house down by now with a regular kettle. This is definitely a keeper!

I love my new Nesco FD-60 dehydrator. My first month I probably spent $300 in fruit and meat trying all sorts of recipes and fruit-roll mixture. However I recommend buying from Walmart. Their price is about $45. Also, I wouldn't recommend buying expansion trays because 4 trays cost about $30 but a new dehydrator for $45 includes 4 trays and a fruit roll sheet (>$4 value)plus the usefullness of a backup or second dehydtation unit. That aside, beef jerky, dried fruits and homemade fruit rolls are wonderful and easy with this unit. Much better IMHO than using the oven (safer, faster, more cost effiecient).

I have been using my set of basic pyrex since I got married. It served fine for years, but now I understand what all the fuss is about. You hear people rave about using great bakeware, now I get it. My first pie (apple) came out fantastic! The crust was lighter and flakier than I have ever managed before. I thought I was a decent baker but now I see what is possible! The clean up was so wonderful. A little soaking and every last crumb came off no problem. I used to soak my glass pyrex overnight but no more! It holds heat well. Longer than I was used to and its a nice even warmth, not the blazing hot then suddenly cold I was used to with glass. It looks fantastic on the table too! I love it!

I haven't had a problem with this item but that doesn't really matter. I won't use it anyway because it makes awful coffee. I am sorry I wasted my money on it.

I bought this coffee maker because of its compact size, but returned it a week later. I found it very difficult to avoid spillage when pouring the water into the coffee maker AND the coffee into a cup. The problem was worse if making more than 4 cups.
Another problem was the taste of the coffee. I like my coffee full of flavor. I have been using drip coffee makers for several years and think I know how to get the coffee "just right". But, every carafe of coffee from this tasted weak, and MUCH too hot, almost scalding!

Other reviewers have complained about spillage or dripping with this product. I didn't encounter these problems. This is a small coffeemaker! It only makes five, 5-oz cups of coffee. If you make a full 25-oz pot and then move it quickly, you'll spill some coffee. The same goes for filling the water chamber to make coffee. If, on the other hand, you realize you're dealing with a small, full pot and act accordingly, you won't have any problems. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. It makes small amounts of good coffee quickly and easily. For under $15, what more can you ask for.

This is the best Deep Fryer for the home that we have every had. Usually you have to have a fryer that is on 220 in order to get good crisp French Fries, Onion Rings, Tempura, etc. But this baby does it on regular home 110 (I use the frozen fries and rings). It is also easy to clean. I highly recommend it.

I was doing some research on the "Fizz Keeper" and according to the American Chemical Society, the "Fizz Keeper" does not work at all. They don't even claim that it works on their patent application. Basically, your two liter bottle of soda will remain sufficiently carbonated until it is less than half full, at which point it will go flat regardless of whether you use the "Fizz Keeper" or not. It may slow the flattening process slightly, but not significantly enough to invest in this item.

I got one of these to see if they worked and now I want more of them. It really does work. Simple to use and a real money saver since you won't be throwing away flat soda/pop like you used to. Please get some more of these in stock!!!

Wow! It didn't go flat on me. This is one of those simple ideas that should have been thought of years ago when they first invented plastic soda bottles. Screw it on and pump it up a little. Your open bottle of soda will now last up to a week or more. Made right, they last a long time too. Have fun!
