I purchased A Hoover Foldaway two years ago. I was dissatisfied with it. However, I purchased this vacuum about a month ago, and I am extremely satsified with it. This one seems to have more power than my old one. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone who asked. I love the suction that this vacuum has!!!!!

I have this set of utensils and was very excited when I purchased them. However, after I got them home and put in my utensil crock, I realized how big and bulky they are. They are too long, too heavy and just plain too BIG.and I am in search of smaller red utensils but they are very hard to find. You can find cheap ones in white and black, but not red. I'll keep looking though and retired these Kitchen Aid ones as soon as I do.

I agree with the other posters about the balance issues, but I have a problem with the handles holding water and flowing out when it is turned right-side-up (my cookies got soaked!)Definitely keep looking.

These tools are made of high quality materials, and they look very nice. However, the ends of the handles are so thick and heavy that if you leave them propped on the side of a shallow pot or pan, or on the counter, they are very prone to flip out of the container or off of the counter, carrying food with them to the kitchen floor. This happened to me twice while cooking thanksgiving dinner. I will not throw them away, but I would never buy them again.

....as the Temprite disposable poultry sensors. With the disposable ones you can clearly see the color change from black to red. I have only used the poultry thermometer from this set so far, but since the back of the package is in black and white, I did not know if it was to change to red, blue, purple or what. I like the fact that you have 5 different thermometers in the set for all your cooking and baking needs. I love how easy they are to clean (no dishwasher for these!!)not like the dial thermometers that always get water inside the dial. I will be trying to get in touch with the company (Taylor) to find out exactly what color each are supposed to change to. Overall though, for the price, these thermometers are worth it.

The only 2 foods it grates well are parmesan and chocolate, as long as the chocolate is cold, not worth the money, I think I'd rather use my small hand held gater. It was a good try, but I won't buy another one.

Decent construction, does not work well at all with soft cheese (cheddar)

I was perusing the Amazon sight and noticed this item's reviews. I do not know what the previous reviewers were trying to grate, nails? And by the way, soft, soft cheeses are better sliced anyway. This is a relatively delicate tool and should be handled as such. Accordingly, it will not break. I have had this grater for approximately one year and it has worked flawlessly. I use it to grate hard parmesan cheese and then refrigerate the remaining cheese in the grater. When all the cheese is used, I simply disassemble, wash, dry, and store the grater until its next use. This is how it is advertised to work. I have found this grater to be a handy gadget to have in my kitchen gadgets inventory.

Works great (if you don't overload it) and is so much easier and neater. How did I cook bacon before this? My only complaint is that it's kind of hard to clean, but just let it soak in hot soapy water for a few minutes and it helps.

I waited for a year or so for the price to come down on this. After all, it's just a low end kitchen gadget. Some places still sell this for $25 but I was able to find one for $7.99 (+ Shipping)

I use it with thick sliced bacon and yes, it works suprisingly well. Easy to insert the bacon, fast, evenly cooked, perfectly formed, no splatter, and cooked the way I like it, slightly chewy, but a nuking it little longer makes a nice crispy result.
