At our current home we have well water. While this has for the most part been great (it tastes much better than our city water)we have high levels of manganese. Though harmless, manganese is like having rusty pipes, and the dishwasher was constantly getting a brown film on everything (including the dishes). My wife and I tried every home remedy and cleaning product to clean up the mess. We ran cycles with vinegar, bleach and spent many wasted hours scrubbing with products like Comet, Simple Green and Kaboom. Nothing worked. While the cleaners made a minimal impact (through hard scrubbing) we were left wondering if anything could do the job. Finally, I ran across Glisten at the supermarket and decided to give it a try. I have to tell you, there has never been a single product that I've used that has made such an impact with one use. My dishwasher literally looked like it was brand new with ONE wash cycle of glisten. I'm sure if you're a chemist, this is a simple product (some sort of citric acid). However, I'm not a chemist and I just know what works for me.
As a footnote, this product works for more than dishwashers. I used this to clean my washing machine and ran a load of stained whites and I have to tell you the results were equaly amazing (I was about to buy all new undershirts). Bottom line if you've tried everything to get the stains out of your dishwasher, washing machine, clothes and dishes; you can't beat Glisten.

Glisten does make the dishwasher look better and also cleans out the mineral deposits within that reduce water pressure resulting in less clean dishes. The instructions allow glass to be in the dishwasher when using Glisten so I put in the cloudy, dirty looking glasses on my second use and it got rid of the mineral accumulation on the glasses too. I plan to use it on a regular basis now.

This was the most pleasant surprises I have *ever* gotten from a product (really!). With no effort, my formerly cruddy looking dishwasher (mostly from hard water stains and lots of use w/o cleaning), was absolutely sparkling. I'll use this again any time my dishwasher needs it and I'm even thinking it would work well in my coffee maker.

I have tried a lot of the reusable pods and filters in my Senseo. The Ecopad, QUickcup, Presto and Melitta padfilter. I got my padfilter from a friend in France about a year ago. Sadly I only got 1 pack and have been using the 2 pods with Ecopads for a while. The Melitta Padfilters are the best made of the ones I have tried. The top is connected to the base with a hinge, thankfully. I have already lost an Ecopad top, but you cannot lose the Melitta top. The mesh screen is a lot stronger as well. I have damaged a few other filters in the last year,but the Melitta one always worked for me. Plus I think it is really slick looking and not a cheesy as the other units. Over all it is a great unit and I am happy to see them on Amazon now.

I have used my dessert stand twice now. I have to admit, I was trying to hold out and ask for it for Christmas, but I had a birthday party a few months ago and HAD to have it. I used it again today for a community Christmas party. I love it. It's sturdy, easy to put up and easy to take down. You even get a little mini wrench to help unscrew the tiers. My only problem is the small pieces...my kids took one of the screws and I can't find a replacement...but I used it today without the top 2 tiers and it still worked. I had people wanting to keep it when it came time to pack up and leave. :0) A must have if you serve alot of cupcakes. Makes a GREAT display.

I purchased the brewmaster and after installation it failed to cool. I called customer serviced and was told that a technician would do an "In-house" service call. The technician came and fixed the problem...two hours later it was BROKE! I called for another service and the technician responded again the following day. I was then told that it was a bigger issue than he had thought, and parts needed to be ordered. He then stated that the parts would take at least TWO weeks to arrive. I called Haier customer service again and was told they were doing everything possible and I should be satisfied with the 1 year warranty and the "In-house" repairs.
I now have taken off two half days from work...
It is to late to return to the retailer.
AND the technician told me that he hates Haier products and he would never waste his money on them because they are JUNK!

Lesson: Stay away from Haier products.

DON'T BUY ONE!!! the worst customer service! they lie to you and tell you everything is going to be fixed. no response back even after about 10 phone calls over 1 month. Doesn't keep beer cold enough. the electrical plug in to the compressor shorted out and would not work, got the run around from haier customer service,(sounded good, don't believe it.)called the new york coporate office got sorry that's the warranty and will have to pay for the service tech. very dissatisfied with the QUOTE " BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY ADVERTISE!" I hope everone boycots haier products.

I purchased the unit while I was in Iraq and it was waiting for me when I got home. No parts were missing and set up was very easy. I didn't put the casters on the bottom as I have no plans for moving the unit very far from where I placed it. The lines hook up well although the first CO2 bottle I had leaked. This was from my failure to check the connections. I checked the second one and am on the third full keg with no problems. Cleaning the lines are a snap but once again, make sure you check your connections or you will have a mess. I did have the unit ice over on me once. I attribute this to the fact that I left the unit running without a keg inside. Anyway, good product.
