weak coffeeI think the biggest problem in not the mess... ok that is not great, but that the coffee is SUPER weak; and we fill them with the original dutch coffee in Senseo Pads (Douwe Egberts).
Good if you want to use ground coffee, but messy.I have the older blue version of these; they work well but do leave a little water on top after brewing, which can spill when you open the lid. If packed tightly they produce a coffee with good froth, and they are a great way to use your ground coffee. However I generally use the pods instead because these are definitely a lot less work to clean up.
Ecopads work wonders! The Ecopads work well as long as you follow the instructions. Other reviewers seem to have a problem with them, but they are easy to use and quick to load.
I bought mine from Coolcybercats. They cost a tiny bit more from this seller, but I got a lot of extras for it! They gave me a 5 page document that explains how the Ecopad works, how to make an 8oz cup of coffee with it, what not to do so you do not break them and how to make tea in them! They even included free pod coffee samples when they sent me my Ecopads! I had some questions on the Ecopads and they responded right away and really seem to know how to use them!
I love the Ecopads and now have 10 total. I fill them on the weekend and keep them in a ziplock bag. I am able to make 2 cups a day with no mess or fuss. If you have a Senseo, get the Ecopads! If the Coolcybercats are still selling them, make sure you buy it from them for the extra information and free coffee!

I love it!I got this for christmas and I love it. It's not messy at all if you do it right. It's very easy to work and it tastes great! My friends think it's really cool and want to use it all the time. I got extra flavors of cotton candy sugar to go with it and they all taste good. It's very easy to clean up after you're finished. I recommend this cotton candy maker if you're looking to buy one.
Pleased ParentsThis is a great machine that makes delicious carnival cotton candy! Start vertically for a few times around and then go horizontally across the extractor-read the directions-they tell you exactly what to do. Follow directions, practice and enjoy!

UnreliableI too was very impressed by this vacuum when I first purchased it (about 2 years ago). The suction was outstanding (and still is when it works), and the self-propelled feature was a nice bonus. I vacuum up a great deal of dog hair and it constantly clogs the vacuum. I have long hair that wraps around the beater bar and stops it from working and you have get down on the floor and pull all the hairs and strings out before you can finish vacuuming. I have also had issues with the belt, which I have not been able to buy anywhere but a vacuum store. Today was the last straw when the beater bar once again would not turn. All the hair, strings, etc., were removed, I put in a new belt ($7) and it still won't work. Turns out the switch to go from hard surface to carpet no longer works! This vacuum has made it's way to the garage - next step is the garbage. I'm back to my trusty old Kenmore cannister vac with the smashed hose - at least it works!
Unfortunately I liked this vacuum so much when I first got it that I recommended my sister buy one. She's also having similar problems with hers.

Broke down after 6 monthsI bought this vacuum last year because it was rated #1 by Comsumer reports. It worked pretty well and I was happy with it.
Until it broke down and can't be powered up anymore last week, that is 6 months of regular use. I would say I only use it for about 15 times, for about 15-20 minutes each. It is still under warranty and I have sent it to the repair center.
On the comsumer reports, it is said that the repair rate for hoover vacuum is about 10%. I guess I am among that unlucky 10%. I don't know what is wrong with it, but I would expect it last longer for an expensive vacuum like this.

Product is fantasticI ordered two fans, the shipping was prompt. Both arrived in assembled and in good condition. I was able to instantly plug them in and be relieved from the scorching heat. The clip-on is very useful. At home, I can clip the fan such that my 1 year old daughter cannot reach it. Overall, a great purchase. Hats off..
Solid PurchaseWhile i've only had my new fan a few days, i am pleased
with it. It seems to be both well designed and made
with sturdy stuff. And I like the large knob/switch
located on the back of the motor housing. The large
knob is easy to find, handle and turn, up, down or off,
even in the dark...with one hand.
I bought the unit with power outages in mind, as it
uses much less power than a box fan, and I can run
it overnight on a 400W Xantrex battery
pack. (And sitting or lying in bed during a
blackout, that little fan gives a lot of
psychological comfort, as well as the
physical cooling on a hot night.
I've had a DC powered 6" fan before this, but that
won't trigger the LOW BATT alarm and will drain my
battery pack completey if i leave it go. And it took
two hands to turn it off/on as well. One hand to hold
the inline switch on the cord, and the other to push
the switch to the new position. Yes, i am pleased
with this purchase.

Lasts ForeverI bought this fan while I was in college over 7 years ago! I use it almost everyday and it still runs like new. The only thing that happend to it is the clip broke from the stress of the metal spring that keeps it clamped. I decided to see if I could still even by this fan and to my surprise they are still avalible. Im buying another, maybe two!

Food Saver is saving my dough...I bought the food saver because I was throuwing away too much stuff and it is already beginning to pay for itself. The instructions claim that you push down to get it started and then release but I find that I have to keep pressure on it to get it to work but it is not that big of a deal. This package included a handheld unit that is the same as the winesaver, and so I have the bottle stoppers. It was the best price I found.
Great Deal!We LOVE our new V840 FoodSaver. We've had no problems with it and this model has all the features we need without the costly bells and whistles. The handheld appliance was something we really had no use for, but the package seemed like a great value anyway. And it is! The handheld appliance is the same unit as the black WineSaver that sells for $40-$50. We simply wrapped it up along with a set of FoodSaver bottle stoppers and gave it to a wine-loving friend as a gift. What a deal!
Also, for your information, this kit comes with a hose, cannister, VHS instructional tape, and sample roll and bags. For the sake of economy, we use the bags we create over and over again by sanitizing them in the dishwasher. We're mindful of cutting generously portioned bags initially, and as the seals are cut from one use to the next, there's still plenty of opportunity to re-use the bags before they become too small to seal anything in.
Our family is very happy with this model and couldn't be more pleased with its performance.

If you read the January 10th review, read this!I had the same problem the other user did...UNTIL I opened the lid of the unit and found there is a piece of cardboard in the bag cutter slot to keep the cutter from sliding around during shipping. It was keeping the lid from depressing. Nothing mentioned that! So I removed the cardboard and now it works great! I felt silly, but I'm sure relieved.
I miss some of the features of my Professional II (like the variable settings), but it finally died after years of hard work and I couldn't pass up the deal on this one.
It works well and meets my needs.

great productI highly recommend this product. The water heats up in a minute or so, much faster than the stove or microwave could. It's a bit loud when the water is boiling, but since it takes so little time to heat, it's well worth it.
Permanently out on our counterThis is truth in advertising! There's no promise that it will cook wonderful meals or make you thinner, stronger, or faster. The Hot Shot will only heat water quickly for you. It does that well, and very reliably. If only other products had such truth in their advertising! The Hot Shot stays on our counter and even in near 100 degree weather, it is used several times a week. We know that we could live without it, but why would we want to? It works very well for us.

Dirty water collects on underside and drips into carpetAfter cleaning my front room with the 9300 model from Costco, I immediately returned it. About half way through cleaning I lifted up the cleaner on it's nose to look underneath and the underside was coated in big drops of dirty water. When pulling backward, most of those drips can be sucked up, but when pushing forward they will drip off the vaccuum, into your carpet, then you have more drips to get out. I certainly wasn't happy to see all the dirty drips that I had to work to get out, so now I'm back in the market for a home carpet cleaner.
One of the best investments we've made!!I don't normally write reviews but I was compelled to say something about this one! We purchased the 9400 off of Ebay and I must say, it is absolutely amazing! I've used a few differant kinds of carpet shampooers (including a rug doctor and a few differant Hoover models) and this one just blows them all out of the water! It's bought new life to our carpets, it even got out old koolaide and grease stains out of our dining room. Our carpets look and feel brand new, and with two young kids and a dog, it's a great thing to have around. Honestly, even if you think your going to have to replace your carpets, try this out first, you might be surprized at what it can do! I'm not normally about dropping so much money on any one thing, but it's alot better than having to buy new carpeting in a few years! It's really easy to use, I LOVE the tank in tank thing b/c there's only one thing you have to take to the sink. The two rows of brushes leave your carpets freshly groomed, and can really bring all of the dog hair up and out of the floor. It does spit it out in hair balls, but it's supposed to do that so it doesn't clog up the machine. All of the tools work great except for the turbo brush, which is just kinda a joke. If you want to save some $$ though, try looking for the 9200 on Ebay and buy any extra tools you really need off of the bissell website. I was lucky enough to find the 9400 for $70, just check it out first, you never know!
As for some of the problems other people have had... on ours the brushes do stop moving when it is upright so we can use the tools, but because on some other ones the brushes don't stop, be sure to check that when you get it. Also, I recomend following the directions on the review from the engineer and drill a couple of holes in the back for the exaust. We noticed that it was getting pretty hot after use, so we decided to do this and it helped increase the suction and it doesn't get hot anymore. Maybe this is why some people's machines poop out after only a few years, I imagine the motor would eventually burn out from overheating. It really is stupid that they put the exaust on the bottom of the machine, air can't really escape because it's right against the carpet. Just be carefull not to drill into something you're not supposed to!!!!! We only needed to carve out a couple holes about an inch above the existing exaust vents. I know some people have had a problem with suction, for us it exstracts about 70-80% of the dirty water, which is what is expected according to the bissell website. Also, if you have any problems, check out their troubleshooting page, there's some good suggestions on there that could really help you out or at least narrow down the problem.
Everything said here, it's worth it's weight in gold!! Even if you have some of the problems that some others have had, they are repairable and it's worth the effort to fix because it works soooo great!!! Hope this helps!

it's a must for crisp crust! One of two ordered stones arrived broken. It was quickly replaced and the broken one sent back. I'm not sure if I was charged and then credited or they just sent the replacement on faith. Might buy another one. It's a must for thin, crisp, crust.
None BetterI have been making all types of baked goods for almost 30 years, and can say without reservation, that this is the best pizza stone I have ever used. I've had mine for over a year now, and although it has blackened with use, it has never gotten one pizza stuck to it and never given off any noxious fumes or odors. I will definitely buy another in the future.
Works great for frozen pizza too!I bought this baking stone, one year ago, after it received a recommendation from America's Test Kitchen. This is the first stone I've ever bought, at the age of 35. I finally decided to buy one after having my pizzas come out with either burnt or soggy crusts. I'm happy to say that it works just as well one year later after repeated use.
If you are deciding between round vs rectangular stone, remember a rectangular stone gives you more surface area to work with.
Before you buy any stone, remember to measure the inside of your oven first, to make sure the stone will fit!
I use this pizza stone regularly once a week to heat up a store-bought frozen pizza (Freschetta, in case you are interested). This stone works wonderfully. The pizza is cooked evenly, and the crust doesn't burn. Finally, my pizza comes out looking like the photo on the back (and front) of the pizza box!
I use parchment paper every time I use the stone, so I've had to do no cleaning to it since I bought it. Thus far, it's been care-free, and you don't have to pre-treat it before using it.
Unlike other comments I've read on here, there have been no smells associated with the stone, and it arrived safely and well packaged in one piece.
I have not used this stone for baking bread or pizza dough, so I cannot comment on its effectiveness for those purposes.
I've been very happy with the product and because the stone retains heat so well, you can keep your uneaten pizza "warm" by leaving it on the baking stone long after the oven is off.
As a disclaimer I should note that I *do not* work for Old Stone Oven or any other food manufacturing/service industry.
Peace and happy eating!

DebbieI loved my first George Forman. I was great for making two hamburgers, a grilled cheese sandwich, porkchops ect.It heats up fast an cooks quick. You could have dinner on the table in no time. So I thought having the family size would be great. It takes longer to great up and a lot longer for cooking. I don't think it's as good as the smaller ones.
Good while it lasted..I bought this grill about 4-5 years ago & it's worked great til now. Just recently I tried to use it & it won't get hot enough to cook food - after 10 minutes of being on, you can place your hand on the grill plates that are barely even warm! Also, the unit developed a 'hot spot' near the centre-front on the bottom of the unit. The spot is dark brown & the 'shell' of the unit cracked in 3 directions, the longest being about 1.5" long! A few months before it not working, the plug (part nearest the prongs) was hot to the touch when I was done cooking my food! I'm not sure how long these grills are supposed to last, but I don't think it should have developed a hot spot!
Also clean up was a somewhat of a pain, the surface & grill plates clean easily with a paper towel or sponge when the unit is still warm, but the small gaps between the grill plates & the 'shell' of the unit are difficult to get to.
Overall I like the grill & now that mine is ready for the trash I will look into getting another, but probably not this model.

Great Indoor GrillI'm very pleased with this item. It comes with two containers to collect grease. Food tastes great. Clean-up is a snap. Someone shared the ideal of placing wet paper towels between the plates after use, while the unit is still warm. I found a wet hand towel works great. I highly recommend this item!

Not your Mothers Tupperware!Love Love Love This Set. Its sooo nice and it doesnt get gross if you store anything that has tomatoes in it.
best $ I ever spent! These are great, no stains, I threw out all my other tupperware when I got these, they stack and store this saves tons of space in the cabnits, they keep fruits and vegtables fresher longer, lids fit tight, they are easy to clean and I can clearly see whats in them! I love these, my only fear is if they stop making them!
