I've had a Krups espresso machine for several years, and I've ground up this little attachement several times in the garbage disposal. When I go to the store where I bought my machine, they usually claim to carry the item and go to the display to get one and there are none there and I'm told to "check back" later. On a few other occasions I've "checked back" and the store clerk has them under the counter and just hands me one as they know it's a tough item to find so they'll do me this little customer service to help me out. But then if they're tough to find....why don't they stock more? I suspect that they perpetuate the problem by handing out this tough to find item and just never buy more. I've never bought a replacement, I've just had them handed to me. This little thing is absolutley required to make decent frothed milk and after I stupidly grind it up by accident, I'm more than willing to buy a replacement. I've asked at every store that sells this model to help me get one or more replacements for future garbage disposal incidents but I'm always told to "check back". I just wanted a way to buy this thing on a regular basis, it's small, gets lost or "disposaled" so I just want to know where to go. Leave it to amazon to add this silly little item to their site and save me many frustrating trips to the department store.

I've replaced the carafe 3 times. All 3 carafes leaked through the seal while pouring coffee, resulting in coffee spilled on the counter. It's a serious design flaw and apparently not fixable as Rowenta was not able to supply a carafe that does not leak.

This seal joins the upper and lower halves of the carafe. The 2 pieces are made from different materials. The top half is always plastic. The bottom can be glass or metal.

One would think that a company known for irons would know how to prevent leaks.

The Rowenta Morrison kettle and toaster also have problems.

The Morrison electric kettle also leaks at the seal between the metal plate at bottom and plastic side-walls, leaving water awfully close to the electrical contacts between the base and the kettle.

The Morrison toaster has wiring that flexes as the toast goes up and down. This wiring breaks after a few months of usage. it can be soldered back, but it is a pain to fix.

As much as I love the form and design, this whole product line is a big disappointment. Good designer. Bad implementation by Rowenta.

It's very handsome. I've had the coffee maker for over four weeks and I am very impressed. It's well designed and friendly to use. All of the elements are easy to understand and easy to clean. This one is quiet. The carafe, the measuring spoon, the water well, all the parts fit together with a kind of soft click that is very pleasant and well thought out.

If you are just out to make a pot of coffee you don't need this machine. It's expensive. However, if you are the kind of person that notices the little things throughout your day, it's a welcome addition.

I recently received this coffee machine as a gift. This modern looking coffee maker is self contained and includes every element needed for its use (filters, spoons and a measure). The 12-cup glass carafe has an innovative locking lid that preserves the coffee's aroma and flavor. I love the way it looks in the kitchen, like a small sculpure! I am happy with the quality as well and cannot report any problems. I noticed a negative rating by another person who probably purchased a refurbished copy. That's why I encourage to purchase this item brand new through Amazon's museumofmoderndesign. I look forward to adding the Jasper Morrison toaster to my collection as well.

I bought the Krups waffle maker because I thought it was a good deal and that it would be easy to clean since you can remove the plates. I was so wrong! My husband loves to make waffles and after a couple of uses the plates were no longer non-stick and we would have to pry the waffles off. It is now in the trash waiting to go to waffle maker heaven.

after just two or three uses, the nonstick began to bubble and peel right off of the plates and onto our food ~ i called and they sent me free replacement plates, but the same thing happened again. in the trash it goes, sadly...would have been great! maybe if it were stainless steel?

At this price one would expect better. I bought one 10 months ago. The sandwich plates have become too sticky after once or twice a week use. I made waffles a few times (I am Belgian !) . It works but you really need better control of temperature to make good waffles.

The toaster arrived in a timely fashion. It performed as advertised. All its' features work well and we are very satisfied with our purchase.
