I HAVE HAD THE "PLEASURE" RECENTLY TO BECOME AMAZON.COM'S UNSUSPECTING VICTIM. I DID A SEARCH ON AN AFFORDABLE BLENDER AND WAS CONNECTED TO AMAZON'S WEB SITE, AND WAS SHOWN A PIC OF A LOVELY KRUPS BLENDER, I GOT A REVIEW AND EVERYTHING, SO I DID THE OBVIOUS, I ORDERED IT, TO MY DISMAY 2 DAYS LATER A SMALL BOX WAS DELIVERED TO MY DOORSTEP. ENCLOSED WAS NOT MY LOVELY KRUPS BLENDER, BUT A SMALL KRUPS BLENDER LID!!!!!! READ ALL FINE PRINT BEFORE CASHING OUT...PLEASE DONT BE A VICTIM AS WELL.....

After a few weeks of use this carafe will shatter all by itself just sitting on your kitchen counter. I replaced the first one thinking my bad luck, the replacement also shattered. This is a loud explosion sound resulting in a carafe full of shattered glass, and hot coffee running out the bottom of the carafe. I think dealers will lose dollars selling a service contract on this baby. Product deserves zero stars.

Beware this juicer. When I received mine the motor worked for about 30 seconds, and then ... nothing. When I looked into having it repaired, the nearest service facility was about 45 minutes from where I live. I ended up returning it to Amazon (not a hassle, they even link you to a UPS pre-paid return label), but I wasn't credited until Amazon had it for a week. By that time, my credit card bill had come due so I had to pay for it, although I now have a negative balance.

Once again, beware ...

What is there to rate. They are the same filters that I received with my pot. I just could not find a store locally that sold them.

My first coffee grinder purchase ever, and I'm very satisfied. Well built, easy to clean with a damp cloth, and it takes quite some time to heat up. That was important to me, since hearing so many people having grinders overheat from more than a little use. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the cord is rather small, but hey, I'll adapt.

Burr grinders give you less heat and more even grinding, but for the money, you can't beat the Krups Fast-Touch. The oval shape is supposed to distribute the heat and give a better grind. It's also large enough to accommodate beans for a 10 cup pot. Some other grinders I've seen have trouble handling enough coffee. Fresh ground coffee tastes better, and this is a reasonably good device for grinding the beans.
