Mixer broke right away -- no service available

We used this mixer once. A plastic piece broke off when we pressed on it. We called the service center. They never heard of the model. We called Customer Service, they couldn't help, but promised to forward our request. We sent an e-mail, but it hasn't been answered. We tried the website -- this model isn't on it.

My favorite appliance

I got this wonderful mixer as a wedding gift in September and I love it! I am an avid baker who had used various mixers, but none compare to this one. I love the feature that moves the bowl while mixing, the side spatula that scrapes the sides, when you remove the beaters they come out clean, leaving more batter in the bowl. I have never used a more efficient product. It is a joy to use.

I love this mixer

This mixer is perfect for my needs. I use a mixer a few times a month and didn't want to spend $300 - $800 for a stand alone mixer. I can easily use it in the stand as well as a regular hand mixer. The stand lets my 5 year help. European design is nice as well.

Feels Cheap

I'm very disapointed at this Krups coffeemaker. The cover feels loose and the plastic feels cheap. And the lid of the pot is hard to put on (and hard to get off, too). You can get a coffeemaker with similar function/quality with much less money. Save your money !

FUll Flavor but not quite hot enough.

This coffee maker looks cool, it has a nice form uncluttered with unnecessary labels. The coffee it makes is full flavored. The one drawback is that it does not make the coffee hot enough. This does not bother me that much, but it may bother some. I have heard that a lower brewing temperature makes for fuller flavor, maybe this is the trade-off.

Good coffee maker

This coffee maker is a good one for the price. We had to get rid of our free Gevalia one (it died after 2 years and we loved it) so we purchased this one. I couldn't see spending $50.00 on a coffee make and this seemed like a good one for the price. We like that when you pull the pot out, it stops brewing. It seems a little light weight and cheap, but it does a good job. The carafe is pretty good...it looks really small when you get it but it does hold 10 cups. It brews pretty fast too. I only gave it 4 stars because it seems a little cheaply made but overall a good coffee maker.
