We bought this along with the Hamilton Beach 40729 Espresso/Cappuccino Maker, and it fits PERFECTLY under the frother without having to tip the pitcher. Holds enough milk for 2 cappuccinos (at least that's all we've made at one time so far).

It is a great looking and very durable pitcher. Not too big, and not too small... works great on the Krups FND1 espresso/latte machine. I strongly recomend it.

I was really excited to get this more-expensive-than-others sandwich maker by a reputable brand. After only 6 months of use (on average 1-2 times a week), the clip that holds the top and bottom plates together when toasting broke, and there is no way to fix it. I am sorely disappointed that the clip wasn't made any sturdier. Of all the pieces to make metal, they chose to make the clip out of cheap plastic. I'm buying a different brand next time around. If you do buy this toaster, don't plan on make anything other than grilled cheese sandwiches, because anything that might pressure on the clip while toasting might break it - if not sooner, then later.

We have been using sandwich makers for many years. This is our third unit in many years. Although they all work well, Krups FDK112 has made the unit much more stable and safe to operate. Old units made by other manufacturers, were unsafe to operate (problems like finger burning, tipping over when closing the lid etc.) This unit is also easy to clean after use. We bought additional unit for our daughter for Christmas. This is a great sandwich maker for quick snack or picnics.

why cheesy? I am typing the review with a bite of cheese sandwitch in my mouth.

I had to replace my old Krups coffee maker and this one is useless! Extremely difficult to program, and every time we lose power, it brings back an annoying beep when the coffee is ready. It has drip interrupt so who cares when the whole pot is ready? Constantly instructs you to "decalcify" - who has time for that?

Very disappointing. We purchased this thing because others in the house are more into coffee than I am and the reviews seemed to be good. The coffee machine never worked correctly from the very first day. It poured hot water every day onto the counter (mixed with coffee yuck! So we took it back thinking it was faulty. The next one did the same thing. We tried different filters than the recommended ones and still the same result and ooey gooey yucky mess.

This product is certainly not worth the money I paid for it. I am so sorry I never read the reviews. It does not keep the coffee warm, it has not brewing timer, nor does it have a shut-off timeer. For this price, it should have all of this but the worst of it is it does not keep the coffee warm.

We purchased this thinking it would be a great coffee maker and it is junk. The hoppers that hold the coffee don't pivot out from the maker they sit on top of the carafes. When you are making your coffee in the morning you have the two carafes, two hoppers, two bags of coffee and the grinder out at the same time. When the coffee is brewed you remove the carafe and hopper together and try to pour a cup of coffee holding the dripping hopper in one hand over the cup and pour out of the carafe at the same time. The hoppers don't have a drip stop feature. The carafes are open and have separate lids. I've had inexpensive makers that had drip stop, integral carafe lid and pivoting hoppers. I have not had the cold coffee problems other report. I was very disappointed in this piece of crap from France.

My husband and I received this coffeemaker as a gift for Christmas. My husband wanted the dual caraffe that it touts. However, our previous coffeemaker had a timer and a one minute "sneak a cup" feature. I believe this machine is slower than what we had prior. I also have a problem with the temperature of the coffee. To boast that you blend a better cup of coffee doesn't matter if I end up putting my cup of cold coffee in the microwave to heat it up! I'm very dissatisfied with this machine. I expected more from KRUPS and can't believe the price. It is not worth it.

After my Delong died after 1 month, I got a Krupps. Even though it did have a clock and all that beeping, it was a much better toaster oven.
However, after 2 weeks of light use, the light went out. That made the toaster oven unusable, because I could not see if I was toasting, broiling or what. So that has to go back too.
I would get another one - causiously though. Just too much electronics

Great item for a single person, not sure how it would hold up for a large family - would be too small to be useful.

I received the Krups convection oven for Christmas, and it's become one of the few kitchen appliances that I use on a regular basis, definitly more than I use my stove! So far, it's been great for toast, reheating pizza and frozen foods. I tried baking pre-made frozen cookies and it didn't do so well. I found that it took alot longer than the package said and the cookies were slightly burnt although they still didn't look done. (But it could have been the cookies, frozen cookies suck anyway)

I agree with the other reviewer, the beeping is very loud and annoying. You can't set it to toast or cook something without hearing at least 5 to 10 loud beeps, but it wakes you better than a cup of coffee=)

All in all, it's a quality, heavy duty product that I use everyday and can't live with out.

This was a replacement for a regular toaster oven that died. We are extremely happy with the way the oven cooks. Toast comes out very evenly browned. Pizza reheated using the convection oven setting comes out with hot toppings, a crisp crust and not additional browned. Biscuits cooked using the convection setting browned on the bottom (not on top) and needed to be turned over halfway through cooking to keep bottoms from getting too browned.

I got this toaster as a wedding gift, and apparently it's a lemon. I just took it out of the box and followed the instructions to turn it on for awhile at the highest setting without bread to get rid of the 'new' smell (which was indeed prominent). I cancelled the toasting after a few minutes, put bread in... and it would not work. None of the buttons worked, and the bread would not stay down. The toasting unit would not come on. I tried another outlet, even though I knew the first was working fine--still won't work. My advice: Buy a Toastmaster. My parents have one and it is awesome.

I guess I was lucky, I made it 1 and half years before my left lever decided to stop gong down. While I thought it was slow, I was always happy with the results. I never burned anything using this toaster. After looking into getting it repaired I think it would be easier and probably cheaper to just get a new toaster. Having the lever for the left side stop working seems to be a recurring theme with this toaster.

I can forgive finicky darkness settings or bagle and frozen settings that do not seem to work to my satisfaction, as I may have unreal expectations, but the flaw in the design of the up and down levers is not excusable. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to design the up and down locking mechanism and when you think about it, toasters have been around for 100 yrs. Why would you design something new when there are proven designs that have worked for a century.

Heck, I can't even open the darn thing to see if I can figure ou what the problem is. All the parts interlock. I'm afraid if I yank off some of the plactic parts they will never go back on.

I do not recommend this toaster.

Style, size and features are fine. But this toaster simply does not provide a nice even toasted surface on the bread.
