I just bought the Artezzi blender (white base-multicolour glass pitcher). So far it performs very well and looks fantastic just sitting there. I would like to buy another glass pitcher. Any ideas on where to purchase this item?

This is the best performing blender I have ever used. It churns the product to get uniform consistency of blended product, and has the power to cut through items such as ice and cabbage. The container is attractive, which allows for it to come out of the kitchen as a serving vessel.

The only negative is price, and at $200, it is rather expensive. However, I found the blender in limited colors at Tuesday Mornings for $99.99.

For Mrs. Q who has problems getting the base ring unscrewed from the blender jar, it is quite simple really. When you set the jar on the base, rather than set it in the locking position, position it to the left of that spot (the handle will be facing you) then turn the jar to the right. This allows the blender jar to easily unscrew. The blender is just beautiful, and really outperforms my kitchenaid. Ice turns to fine powder- no rocks left behind. Pours easily without mess, and doesn't leak all over the base. I love it! Only problem was deciding between the copper/clear or stainless/merlot finish. Just beautiful!!

If you are like me, and simply cannot justify spending $200 (or more) for a heavy duty stand mixer that you will really use only once a month, look no further. If you do use a stand mixer often, this is a good alternative for the budget-conscious, to Kitchenaid!

This mixer will handle the toughest chores, including six pounds of bread dough. It isn't the same inside, as other Mixmaster stand mixers. This one has TWO motors. One for the beaters, another, at the base, drives the bowls counter to the beaters, for a more complete mixing. It also comes with three sets of attachments: Beaters, dough hooks AND whisks. Other models that look about the same do not include the whisk attachments. On this model, the bowls twist-lock onto the base rather than ride on a turntable, an important difference. It is heavy, rests on rubber feet for complete stability. It features a "soft start" which ramps to any of the selected 12 speeds quickly, as opposed to instantly, saving splashing and snow-storming.

I gave it four stars instead of 5 simply because Sunbeam makes no provision for attachments. But really, how often does one need a meat grinder attachement or one for ice cream, instead of simply using the real deal?

So, if you are looking for a quality, heavy-duty stand mixer, with a full two year warranty, under $200, that will stand up to anything you need to mix, this is the one for you.

I love it, the Family loves it. Wonderful product, works like a champ, would recommend to anyone that bakes.

Yes, it seems expensive but you will never replace this baby. Invest in quality and you will never be disappointed. I got this mixer for myself as a housewarming gift. That was seven years ago.


I live in age diverse neighborhood. My neigher and I, who I put at around 65-70, Starting talking about appliances and swapping recipes last fall. There on the counter her kitchen aid mixer She that was a wedding gift 45-50 something years ago.

This baby mixes even the mosk sticky dough. The motor is powerful and still pretty quiet. My hubby and I have different schedules. I can bake and cook and he can sleep.

No more extra apppliances in the kitchen the attachments are excellent. I love the pasta attachment.

My neighbor wanted to try the juicer attachment. We went over to her house to see if it fit. I was skeptical since this was an attachment for a more modern model I thought. Guess what it fit! We were shocked. Now she been buying attachments and giving threm a test drive.

For years I balked at the cost however, after replacing two underpowered poor-performing handmixers over the years, I took the plunge and purchased the KitchenAid Stand Mixer. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner! This mixer has provided me with four years of hands-free use, with predictable power and consistency. It makes wonderful lump-free batters, stiff meringue, smooth frostings, perfect whipped potatoes, and even kneads bread dough. The included recipe book is a perfect introduction to it's array of capabilities but don't hesitate to let it take over other chores in the kitchen. There are a multitude of tasks the mixer can perform with optional accessories that are available for purchase. Turn last night's roast into today's sandwich using the meat grinding attachment, churn out authentic fettuccine with the Pasta Attachment, prepare fresh juice using the Juicing Attachment, it can even open cans and mill grains. So many possibilities...and all with the quality and classic styling you would expect from KitchenAid.
