The cabinet is working fine however, i paid $169.00 for a new item and it appears used (staining on the shelves). The exterior of the box looked ok but when i opened it the accent color on the handles was not royal blue (which i specifically ordered to match my other pieces). I am keeping the cabinet because it's easier than shipping it back. Overall, not a good experience.

This LOOKS like a sturdy box, but it is made of thin stainless steel, which is easily dentable. The feet are plastic, rather than rubber, which causes it to slide (easily remedied with stick on foam rubber). I was disappointed that my box came with a small dent, but decided it would be too much hassle to return, and no doubt I would dent it myself sometime soon. It is roomy and looks nice on the counter and does indeed have a flat top, which may come in handy as extra space!

An excellent solution for those of us who have an appalling number of DVDs and CDs. These sturdy, attractive cabinets really do hold 165 discs (in envelopes) per drawer, though it is advisable to leave a little extra breathing room to make it easier to flip through the discs. Sort of like the old days of flipping through LPs in a record store....

I use these cabinets exclusively for DVDs. I remove the cover and booklet (if any) from the box, flatten them out, and keep them elsewhere. Unlike a CD's booklet, DVD documentation is largely useless to me, and those bulky DVD cases are a morbidly inefficient means of storage.

Vaultz cabinets are compact, space-efficient, and stackable. Highly recommended, especially at the price.

This box can hold paper covers and slimline or full CD's easily and in the same drawer. It is a solid box not the flemsy plastic containers we have all settled for... if you want something good buy this... it is well worth the extra expence...
