This rack leaves a lot to be desired.

It sways considerably, and unless the top bar is perfectly level to the ground (which most bikes are not), the bikes can move (i.e. you don't want anything of value like a nice car to be beside/underneath this rack).

Keep looking.

The box was torn in places but contents OK. Took about 10 minutes to assemble, mainly to get desired positions of the bike holders. I have only one bike so I didn't put the top piece on. The cap does not fit the middle section, though. I have it free standing, about two inches from my porch with no way to ahchor it. Need the two inches so the HUGE all-weather BBBQ cover (from QVC) has room to fit over the rack and bike. So far the unit has withstood some windy days. The manufacturer has great customer service and responded quickly to all my questions. Informed me that the unit will eventually rust if left in the rain. I'd give 5 stars if it wouldn't rust!

Oh, this is exactly what I was looking for. I use my garage as a workshop/recording studio/rehearsal studio/bicycle storage/bicycle repair shop/laundry room and probably, needless to say, I have zero wall space. This thing will stand right up on its own ONLY! if there's atleast one bike mounted. In my case, there always is. Perfect! Thanks so much.

The subject line sums it up here, meaning this storage box is pretty doggone handy, but I did not realize the wheels are on only one side of the storage box, not both. It makes it easier to drag it around, but it'd be nice if there were wheels on BOTH ends. It couldn't cost them that much more to take that leap in my view. However, I got A LOT of stuff in this bench, managing to clear out my laundry area so I could actually put laundry there, not everything else. Among the items that are now comfortably relegated to this storage bench are a drill, couple of saws, socket wrenches, two small tool boxes and one bigger one, two 20-pound bags of dry dogfood, assorted dog treats, leashes, flea collars and repellants, and three paint recpetacles and inumerable paint rollers, brushes, et cetera. I have room to put more in there if I choose. ... It's held far, far more than I dreamed it would. I am quite satisfied. It really was no-tool assembly, too, which I really didn't expect either. This was a good investment, I think, and it was free shipping. I'd recommend this one. Do note, however, that it doesn't lock, so don't put anything in it of huge value. The only thing that keeps this from being five stars versus four is the fact that there are two wheels for rolling, not four. My back needs four. :)

I purchased this deck box to store my outdoor cushions. Not only does it hold my cushions but I can also use it for my outdoor speakers and the kids life jackets. It was very easy to put together and has surpassed my expectations.

This is my second purchase of the ProStor Lift. They are easy to use and quickly get the bikes out of the way in the garage. My wife's coaster bike had a handle bar mounted reflector that had to be relocated because the handlebar hook is a bit oversized when one considers its lifting a bike that might max out at 30#. No big deal. I would have given them a 5th star if the box included a template for mounting the lift on standard ceiling joists. I had to noodle that out and mount the mount on plywood that I then attached to the joists. Good product.

Even my 10 yr old son can work it safely. Plenty of rope.

Should be install on ceiling by wall so that the rope to anchor segment does not hinder traffic, e.g., tear off your neck.

As soon as I received this item, I instantly ordered another. It is very durable/sturdy, made out of a thick canvas unlike the cheaper nylon products found in stores. It easily collapses when not in use, so it takes up NO space. I used one in my bathroom to hold towels and other items and one in my closet to hold pants, belts, socks, slippers, etc. Everything fits perfect, and it opened up a lot of space in my closet. It's the best way to organize everything you keep in your closet that doesn't fit well on your ordinary hanger. I highly recommend this product!

I had ordered this along with the mens shoe hanger. I keep all my smaller shoes in this. All in all the product is great for the price u pay. But for bigger/mens shoes u need a men's hanger. I checked out the price too for similar products and this has a good price too.

I ordered this against the will of my wife. She thought it looked cheap. But when it arrived, she filled it with all her things! She loves it. And it is stable and strong. And it does hold its form as shown in the picture - even when stuffed with shoes and socks and things.

Though this is not a toy box (by which I mean it does NOT include safety features like air holes), it was a cheap solution to my toddler's accumulation of messy looking toys in the backyard. I didn't want to carry dirt-encrusted toys into my house, and I couldn't stand to look at them any longer.

This comes flat. I assembled it myself in a few minutes without tools. It takes heavy pressure to pop the pieces together, but an average woman like myself can manage it. It looks fine, but it is not perfectly square and smooth. The plastic sides are thin enough that they can flex a bit and be slightly bowed.

The lid is not hinged. It simply sits on top of the box. The lid is not water-tight. If you store it in the open outdoors, objects inside will get wet/damp when it rains. For plastic toys, this hasn't been a problem for me.

An average size adult can sit on the lid and use it as a bench. It is only wide enough for one person. I don't know the maximum weight limit, but we've put about 175 pounds on it. It is slightly shifty/wobbly, so I wouldn't let a really large person sit on it, nor would I let a child climb on it as a toy. The lid could shift, etc.

I like it well enough that I'm considering getting a larger (wider) box like this for our front porch to hide a snow shovel and sand in the winter, and our beach toys and broom in the summer. I'm trying to find one assembled in a store to check out first, however, because a larger bench could be dangerous unless it is built a bit more sturdily than this small one.

I put this on my small patio, and it is great! It will not hold a large amount of items, but will hold many small items, for example, you could fit a 50 ft. hose, watering can and a couple chair pads, and some rope. It is so simple to put together, a couple quick snaps and your done! No nuts or bolts, but sturdy enough to hold my 245 lbs. husband! I actually bought this at a local Target store, and this is the best price.

I needed a small storage seat to place next to my hot tub. It is great for storing chemicals, etc. and provides extra seating on the deck.

This box is used to store the cushions from the outdoor furniture. Does the job very well.

Love the deck box -- lots of space for power tools, folding chairs and what-not. BUT after assembling the box, one of the last steps is to push in the hinges on the back. The instructions say to use a 1" X 4" piece of wood to knock the hinges into place. It's designed to hold a 1" X 4" piece of wood so you can hammer the hinges into their grooves. It just happens that I have NO WOOD! Why doesn't Rubber Maid provide that piece of wood?

The box has been sitting there -- unable to be used until I can go to a lumberyard or call my son to find a lousy little piece of wood! If anyone has any suggestions on how one person can push in the hinges without the piece of wood, please post it.

Otherwise it's a great product as other Rubber Maid products usually are.

I have purchased Suncast products before so I was aware of the quality and ease of assembly. I am using the DB5000 Deck Box on ground level with its primary purpose being to house a light weight small auto vacuum ( wheeled Sears shop vac type). No more lugging the vacuum from inside the house and back again. Located 10' from 3 vehicles, no excuse for a weekly interior cleanup. Perfect fit and Water proof ( has not leaked yet). One minor problem for this application was when placed on the mulch the floor of the box did rise up ( its placed in, not locked in) The cure was putting a small 2"x6"brick under each leg of the box, keeping the box level and the floor in place.

This item is so easy to assemble that the 3 year old and 4 year old in my home had this item assembled in under 5 minutes. The only help they needed was putting on the upper shelves. They then proceeded to climb on it - and it was so sturdy that it didn't even wobble.

I placed this one in the garage and I am amazed at how much this unit holds.

I got this shelf for my husband. He has a closet where he keeps many of his things and he had it organized as good as he could be he needed some shelves. I ordered these as a surprise. When they were delivered, he was not home. I had them assembled in 15 minutes! He got home, I showed him his new shelves, and he was thrilled. They are stable and sturdy and I may have to buy more.

These shelves take nothing to assemble and even when assembled on carpet, I am not worried about them tipping. Great item!

Took less than 10 minutes to put together. They are very sturdy and a great price -- light and easy to move around compared to metal shelves. I ordered 2, then 4 more! The shelves are not a solid sheet of resin, but for lack of better words... a structural grid. If you plan to store tiny items on it, they could fall through the holes or become unbalanced by the holes. For boxes and anything with greater than a 4-inch base -- these are perfect.

Believe it or not, buyers do look in your garage. If your garage is full of clutter, they cannot imagine all their "stuff" fitting in there. However, if it is well organized and off the floor, you might get an offer quicker!
