This was purchased thru Amazon. The first arrived with the wires outside the case. Amazon replaced it without any problem. Now the reset light and button does not work. I've spoken to Electrolux and they don't have any answers. They referred me to a local repair site. When I spoke with them, they said the item was probably made abroad and they will not fix it or know anything about it. I again called Electrolux and they gave me two other repairs sites. Both told me they don't repair. I'm stuck with a $500+ item that no one knows how to repair or will take responsibility for it.

We ordered this product about a month ago, thinking it would be a great substitute for an air conditioner. The product arrived and we set it up and plugged it in. The control panel on the product would not function. It could only be run with the remote and the cooling function could not be accessed with the remote. We contacted the company and they send out another one, with an order for the defective one to be picked up by a shipper. Today I set up the second cooler fan, made sure it was set up properly, including the plug at the bottom to keep the water from running out. However, I plugged it in and pushed the button for the cooling feature and all the water in the tank ran out onto the floor! This product is going back and I will never buy another Fujitronic product. They do not seem to have any sort of product quality control. I would strongly advise anyone considering buying this product to look elsewhere!

The HAP750 works as advertised, though it is a little pricey. I used to feel stressed about food odors permeating into the clothes I wore - because my roomate does heavy indian cooking in the house. The hap750 has cured my worries in that regard. Now, I can't smell absolutely any odors in my clothes or in the room! And the air feels light, kind of like when the sky clears after a thunderstorm. My guess is that it's due to the HEPA filter. A pretty blissful experience to have in your room..

The fan noise is very low for an air purifier (it sounds basically like wind blowing at 15-20mph on an avg day). It is definitely much lower than that of the conventional fans. Noise was my major concern because I love silence, but I can live with this little noise.

My only concern is that it requires 3 activated carbon filters (cheap) and 3 HEPA filters (expensive). For now, I feel that the cost is justified for the job that it's doing.
