Good performance, but a bit noisyThis HEPA filter was a cheaper, smaller alternative to some others I'd looked at from Honeywell, Holmes, and a few other brands. It does a good job pulling particles from the air, and I'm amazed at how much stuff floats around. I usually get about two and a half months of life from the pre-filter, which is really a carbon odor reducer. I get about five months from the actual HEPA filter. Don't cheat by using just the HEPA filter because it'll need replacing in three months or sooner. The pre-filter is relatively inexpensive, too. Overall, it's a good filter for someone with allergies. The filters, when they're on sale, are a fair price compared to other HEPA options. My only complaint is the unit is a bit noisy, but aren't they all?
