I have three Grippers (different colors for different items) and I like them alot. The board stays put on the counter -- until you put it in the dishwasher. The heat from my dishwasher warped one of the boards so that now it rocks and swivels on the countertop, cancelling the effect of the hundreds of gripper feet and making it useless. The last synthetic board I had from another manufacturer also warped in the dishwasher. I like these Gripper boards and I'm replacing my warped green one for another one. But a word of advice: Use a mild bleach solution to disinfect these boards and keep them out of the dishwasher.

This one is nice because the top attaches, although it is a little clumsy. However for the money I think it is worth it.

I thought this 2 pot coffee maker would finally solve my needs for a) the varying tastes in the office (stong vs. weak) and b) more coffee. I got that and a lot of problems that I had not bargained for. The spout leaks, spills, drips the liquid when you pour like normal. There are 2 pots and both do this, so it's not just 1 bad apple. This also means you cannot use the kettle to fill the reservoir. Inside the tank, there are fill-to lines which you cannot see unless you are standing over the top of the machine. If you have this placed at the back of a kitchen counter, then it's impossible to see. The coffee tastes like mud because the filters on this cannot handle the fine ground coffee we use. I have a Krups at home using the same style metal filter with the same coffee and it does an excellent job of filtering. Lastly - I say last because I plan on dumping this thing ASAP - the on/off switches are going out. I have to press the button multiple times to get the machine to start. I cannot think of one reason why anyone should by this.

I am so sorry I didn't read the reviews here before I purchased this item. I was so excited to get a side-by-side brewer, as we are a mixed family of decaf-ers and regs. But everything about this unit that made it attractive later became problematic. I will not repeat all that you have read already or will read about this in the other reviews. The most aggravating was the TOTAL inability to pour a cup of coffee without spilling half the pot. For a moment, I thought I was on candid camera, as it was SO ridiculous and SUCH a huge mess that I couldn't believe someone wasn't pulling a joke on me. Unfortuneately, in my excitement to get started using my coffee maker, I threw out the box and didn't keep any receipt, so I could not return it. Even with its faults, it lasted only three months as I made a fatal error. As with all other coffee pots I have used in the past, I turned on the unit to reheat the coffee already brewed. Apparently, this pot does not allow that and all I can guess is that I burned out the cooking coils. It shut itself off once and for all and simply died. What a waste of a heck of a lot of money. Please, DON'T buy this coffee maker. It is a TOTAL waste of money.

This coffee maker has three key features that set it apart from other dual coffee pot makers:

1. Lids come in orange (decaf), red (hot water), brown (flavored coffee) and black (regular coffee)
2. Thermal pots to keep the coffee hot (though Krups does offer models with thermal pots -- but with other deal-breaker design flaws)
3. Does not require paper filters


However, the pots are designed in such a way that coffee pours all over the counter when you pour yourself a cup. After a lot of experimenting, I realized that the only way to avoid having coffee pour all over the place is to take the lids off entirely and pour slowly -- a design flaw that makes this coffee maker useless. I returned it and am continuing my search

We have had this toaster for about a year and we hate it. The long wide slots are great for odd sized bread and bagels, but they are the only good thing about this toaster. It dries out the toast instead of toasting it. Short pieces of bread are hard to get out of the toaster without burning your fingers. The outside of the toaster gets very hot. Now the toaster doesn't work. This is actually a relief because it means we can justify getting ourselves something else.

It looks nice. If you use the black rim around the bottom for moving the toaster, it prevents fingerprints on the stainless steel body.
It does get hot.
I love the Frozen button feature; works great for waffles.
Toasts everything great. I think the extra lift slide for getting toast high enough to grab is a little strange, but half the time the toast pops right out of the toaster anyway.
I like this one better than my last 4 slot Krups toaster.

I got this 3 months ago and so far no problems. I liked its sleek black look. I like the way the top cradles in your palm. It opens cans just fine and dandy. No complaints.
