As several other reviewers said, the clock lost several minutes a week requiring that it be re-set periodically. This was tolerable since the coffee it made was decent. Then, about 2 months after I bought the unit, it stopped working altogether. The "on" light would illuminate, but nothing would happen. I only use this pot once a day, hardly heavy use, this shouldn't have happened.

I received this model as a gift and thought it would be great since we only brew a few cups at a time. However, as other reviewers noted, almost immediately the clock started losing several minutes every day. I wasn't intending to use the delay feature very often so I didn't bother to return it. Now, just short of a year after I received it, it suddenly started working, so I'm shopping for a replacement. I might try another Mr. Coffee model with better reviews, but not this one!

i havent had any difficulties with this coffeemaker and it is also still in perfect condition !

My husband and I have always taken our rings to the jewellers to be cleaned, and between visits we used the solution that they gave us when we bought the rings. This machine has enabled us to clean them at home.

Whilst, in my opinion, the rings don't come up quite as good as they would at the jewellers (I'm sure they have some industrial type machine, there), they are pretty close. We have found that we need to add the tiniest squeeze of dishwashing liquid to the water (it gives the amount to use in the instruction booklet), and with that they come out gleaming.

My husband did try to clean his spectacles but said that they didn't appear to be any different when they were done. I think it's probably better for stones than other things.

I recommend this product, it cleans jewelry, coins etc very quickly with a drop or two of detergent added.

This was a great toaster, until it starting turning itself on. After popping up the toast a few minutes later the heating elements will come back on. KitchenAid has a recall on their proline series with the same problem but there is no recall on this model, YET.

Don't Buy

Okay this toaster is a serious let down for me... this is another one of KitchenAids appliances that I have had a problem with, I buy direct from KitchenAid to avoid problems and what do a get a toaster that does not even make the same kind twice, I could of bought a $10 toaster at my pharmacy and got the same results.

With all the sensors and buttons on this toaster you think it would make decent and consistant toast but I find myself always having to fool around with the buttons! #2 setting should not give me burnt toast!

The only good thing about this toaster is the frozen setting - I have had excelent luck with that!

The digital that I have is a great way to get perfect toast. If anyone burns there toast, it's not the toasters fault, they don't know how to cook!
