I hadn't bought a steam iron in fifteen years. I gave mine away before moving to China in 2002 and upon returning to America in 2005 I needed to buy a new one. In the past I would choose an iron based on a nice hefty weight, simplicity, traditional appearance, presence of a safety switch, and a good brand name. I was more than a little confused to find the featherweights with Jetson-like appearances and retractable cords available on the store shelves. Even after reading all of the boxes and comparing the floor-models I just didn't feel confident on the way home with my new purchase.
I have been extremely happy over the past year with my Sunbeam Steam Master Iron. I'm a big steam guy and really like that this model has a huge water tank. No more refilling halfway through the project. The iron heats up very quickly and even though it's very light it stays uniformly hot and has a good substantial feel in my hand. The controls are all at the top of the handle and easily accessible by my thumb while operating. The no stick surface has been great. I had had some bad luck with a no stick surface in the past; but this one has really been great. The only feature that I don't like is the retractable cord; so I fold the cord and stick it through the handle when I'm done using it. The few times that I've become distracted, walked away while ironing and then bolted back into the bedroom expecting to find it ablaze; I've been relieved to see the amber light blinking on the handle telling me that it has shut itself off. All things considered, this has been a great product. Show me one that will iron clothes without me and I'll switch.

This item is advertised as having a 5-Cup Blue Chill GLASS Freezer Jar. It is PLASTIC. Since we were specifically looking for a blender with a glass jar, this does not suit our needs.

I like the product, but it is very uncomfortable when you first try to use it. It takes time and squirming to find the right 'feel' for your already aching back. But, after you get used to it--it's not bad.

I've had back problems for the past 10 years and I figured this was worth a shot as it's obviously a cheaper than a visit to the chiropractor. It's a good product, very sturdy. It's an akward feeling at first and requires some wiggling around, but once you find a comfortable position you'll feel better in no time. My back isn't 100%, but I'm feeling less pain on a daily basis and the muscle spasms in one part of my back have almost disappeared.

I've been reading about Spine-worx in the Sky Mall magazine for some time now, even clipping the ads. I finally got around to checking it out on the internet and noticed Amazon's "good deal."
My back goes through various tortures due to travel, fatigue, scoliosis, and other bodily imperfections. I am also on a low-income fixed budget, but I figured that I couldn't really loose much giving this "gadget" a try, so I finally ordered one. WOWEE! What a neat thing! It's like, instant relief from on going discomfort (I did not have severe pain, please note, but incessant levels of discomfort prevailed). I'm sold! I am happy to inform others in case they too may wish to "give it a shot." And, it's light enough and small enough to travel with! (Hey, maybe we can get Medicaide to add it to its list of approved orthopedic appliances!)

This appliance is terrible, the rack is designed wrong so you can't get anything out once they are hot. If you flip the rack over to overcome that problem, then the door doesn't slide the rack out like it should. Its supposed to be able to cook frozen pizzas, they just droop and start buring on the edges while the center stays raw. My parents gave it to me after they tried it and decided it was too unsafe for their household (after it set some food on fire).

Attractive item in good condition MISSING RACK! When contacted Amazon they first told me to return the entire applicance to get a new one with a rack. Then instructed to return product, that it is not an isolated issue and they cannot replace the missing part! If you purchase this you will only have to return it.
