I bought one of these from Costco. It ran for one year then suddenly it would operate for only 9 seconds and shut off no matter how much time or power was programmed. Tried unpluging it for long periods of time to see if it would reset. No luck.

This unit would run for about 20 seconds and then turn off. No matter what function (heat beverage, dinner plate) or just using timed heating. I called Panasonic customer service. They told me to unplug the unit and plug it back in after a minute. Did that with no better results. Then they gave me the address for a repair center that is at least 25 miles away. Needless to say I'm returning it. Excuse me, gotta run to Sears to get a microwave.

This machine was DOA (defective on arrival) it gets so HOT after 3 minutes use it shuts off automatically. let me repeat
Just plain JUNK!!! it's dangerous!! NO Panasonic for me ever again. Panasonic customer service is the pits too..they just say "get it fixed"

This unit was fine while it lasted, but it suddenly went dead after 16 months. Unfortunately, that seems to be a common occurrence with this model (see comments for white and stainless, too).

My Panasonic over-the-range microwave only lasted 1.5 years before it died on me. Panasonic wanted me to uninstall it, bring it to them and pay too much to have it repaired. It wasn't nearly as good as my GE over-the-range microwave which lasted more than 10 years!

This is a nice looking, easy to clean unit. Great ventilation, lighting & clear functions. Preset programs don't always provide enough time to properly heat the food. The exterior surface is easy to clean but the skin over the start button riped on mine only after 2 months, now its all rough & jagged.

I am trying to find a safe (unscented/natural scent is best!) dishwashing liquid. Thought I'd give this one a try?
I tried cleaning a pan I'd deep fried tortillas in, Canola oil (not burned on!).
All it did was push the oil around, would not remove it, no matter how hard I scrubbed. It did not disolve ANY oil. A little would just "float" on the water/suds surface & not disolve.
I finally put in some Dawn Original, & it did the job well (has a mild perfume scent though?).

I'm still looking? Joy didn't work- Ivory & Palmolive/natural... next?

I have to agree with the first reviewer... this just doesn't cut grease at all..

I did a stir fry and had to use simple green to get the grease out... this just didnt do it for me.

I use it in my hand soap dispencer. I also use it for my body soap in the shower. I mix it in warm water and clean my windows, mirrors and fixtures. It's a mild chemical free soap. I have MCS and it doesn't bother me at all. No, it's not good for cutting grease, but it's good for everything else. I didn't buy it for a degreaser, I bought it because I needed a safe all purpose scent free soap. It works great and I've used it for a couple of years now. I didn't think to use it as a body soap until my mom told me that she used it for her body soap. It's great, no perfume smell on your body and it's mild and safe.

I am an avid cook and baker. I used this unit twice and it broke after the 2nd useage. I found it to be very slow; the charge didn't last long so I had to keep it plugged in. The dough had to be very very soft in order for the press to produce the cookies. I am very disappointed that such an expensive item would operate so poorly.

This was the worst baking adjunct that I ever purchased and the first item I have returned after actually using it. It does not hold a charge, it is extremely slow and for the most part ineffectual. My ancient hand operated cookie press does the job perfectly and in half the time, however, due to arthritis it is hard for me to use. I will be happy to go back to it!
