I have heard of the quality of Wusthof knives many times. This was my first time trying these knives and they are amazing. It chops everything like nothing else... This is the best knife I've ever used... It also fits my hand perfectly. (I have small hands.) Yes, it does cost more than those inexpensive knives out in the market; however, comparing the quality and value, I think these knives are worth every penny.

Unless you're planning on washing dinner plates only, this dish rack is not for you. Smaller plates (or bowls for that matter) are not secured by the inadequate wire lips ( about 1/8 inch )so they fall flat and then fall out onto the floor because the sides are completely open (3 1/4 inches) . Anything small dumps out of the side opening and onto the floor. The utensil basket has a divider which moves around and your utensils end up laying down in the bottom. I bought this thinking that since Polder has a good name, it would be a good product. I was wrong and Polder should be ashamed of such inadequate design!

This item did not arrive for an entire month when I finally decided to cancel the order completely. definitely not worth the money.

I bought this dishrack about 8 months ago. I began renting an apartment that had all stainless steel appliances so I wanted a good quality dish rack to match. After using it for several months I've had time to figure out what I like about it and what things are possible problems.

Pro
-Looks Good
-Removable Silverware Tray
-Decent amount of space (Im single so its usually plenty for me)
-Has rubber feet to stop it from sliding around on the counter
-Reversible drain system, one side drains to the sink, the other can be used to keep the water inside the tray (Although I never use it)

Con
-Started rusting after a few months. Rust spots from water can be seen in many places. I had to take a brillo pad to scrub off the rust spots. I didn't expect to have to do this for something considered stainless steel.
-Sharp edges on the silverware tray. While scrubbing the rust off I opened a nasty gash on my thumb due to a very sharp corner.
-The silverware tray has a removable divider to seperate the tray into three sections. However this divider easily slides around. If you put all of your silverware on the left, and none on the right the tray will slide to the right and your silverware will fall down. This is annoying more then anything else. You simply have to remember to balance the amount of silverware on both sides of the divider.
-The cost. Its somewhat expensive when comparing it to plastic, however the market for stainless steel dish racks is fairly thin so its hard to compare its cost to simlar items.

Overall this product looks good and makes a kitchen look cleaner compared to a plastic product. The drawbacks are you will eventually have to wipe down the dish rack to remove rust spots. A major annoyance is the divider for the silverware. It slides around and you will on more then a few occasions wind up with some silverware that lays down rather then stands up. This could easily be solved if the manufacturer provided a way for you to clip the divider into a certain spot, or if it was more tightly fitted. The advanatage of the divider is that it can be removed, or slid over to help fit bigger pieces of silverware or utensils in the rack. Im happy with the purchase, though it could have been better designed. I certainly would have liked less sharp edges on the silverware rack -- the gash on my thumb thinks so atleast.

Your choices for a stainless steel dish rack are pretty limited. If you need to have one that looks nice like me then this isn't a bad choice, however there may be better alternatives on the market that I simply could not find.
