I had this humidifier last year and worked fine for few monthes and died.. the cause is unknown and i could not return or repaier. while it was working, the 3 gal. water lasted all night long and it was enough for a small bedroom. removing mineal deposites were always hard so. It may work fine for some people but I just want let people know my humidifier died in few month.

I just purchased the 3 gallon warm mist humidifier by Holmes and I love it! It is easy to fill, works very quicky, and quietly. I would recommend buying a bottle of Holmes water treatment (2.99 at Target) to help with hard water deposits.

i owned it. it's quiet, easy to clean, and simple to operate. One problem: occassionally water would get stuck, and you'll need to shake it a bit to keep it flowing.

If you can get over the minor design flaw, it's a [inexpensive] warm mist humidifer that'll last for years.

I have used the cool air mist humidifiers but the filter needs to be replaced so often. I got this humidifier to replace the old one. I love it. You do have to clean it a bit more but do not need to replace the filter as often.

I would only recommend this unit for a small room or studio apartment.

We bought this in Sears, even though we set the speed to low, it still too noisy to put in bedroom. And the worst part is, it stopped working after only one night. a piece of junk. We had a sunpen town ultrasonic humidifier before, would purchase it again, it's quiet and working great.
