I bought this iron (already had a stupid boring normal one, which I never use, I buy wrinkle free, duh). I bought this just so I could use it for extreme ironing! Check it out on the internet, it's going to be big someday, just like Pogs. Anyway I ironed while standing in the bed of my pickup while my friend Matt drove and Iain took pictures from out the window. At one point the iron even fell from the truck onto the payment as the truck was turning fast and it still worked! Clearly the people at Panasonic were sick of their Pogs breaking when they were little and didn't want to live that nightmare again. Well, wake up and see the pressed clean look of the only ex-wrinkled shirt in my closet, because it's looking nice! I would even go as far to endorse this iron for people who don't do extreme ironing, which is probably why you are buying online, you are ashamed of your lack of vitality and want to hide behind the anonymity of the internet, and are scared the service person at the store is going to try to talk about Extreme Ironing with you and will sniff out the faker you are. But if you're someone that really lives life and actually goes out and meet read women too, and has real friends that you converse with IN PERSON, you must also then be an Extreme Ironer (obviously), buy this, it's the best deal for the new sport of the future where productivity meets entertainment and excitement. Really, thought it is a good iron for normal people too, have fun on your computer.

The product is easy to use and works very well. Highly recommend.

Through no fault of the ironer's own, one's iron will sometimes get brown stuff all over the faceplate, even when one is not using starch. Methinks it is perhaps related to our water. But anyway: the instructions included are easy, the cloth is good to go. I used 1/2 a tube on our old iron before getting it all the way clean. But a stitch in time saves nine, and you might not have to use so much.
Go for it! Cheaper than getting a new iron.
